Trade shows Toronto 2026 still has to come, plus early 2027: the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (6 to 15 November 2026), the One of a Kind Christmas Show and The Buildings Show in early December, then the Toronto International Boat Show, the AutoShow and the National Home Show from January to March 2027. Each venue needs a different transport plan.
Toronto's big exhibitions are spread across three areas: the Metro Toronto Convention Centre beside Union Station, Exhibition Place on the lakeshore, and the halls near Pearson. The calendar below lists the shows we have checked against official sites on 2 October 2026, then explains how delegates, exhibitors and visitors move between hotels and halls. For multi-day programmes with shuttles and VIP cars, our trade show transportation in Toronto page is the service overview; this post is the planning calendar.

Which shows already ran earlier in 2026?
The 2026 editions of the Boat Show in January, the AutoShow in February and the National Home Show in March have finished; the 2027 dates above replace them. Toronto also hosts many trade-only congresses, association meetings and corporate conferences that are not advertised to the public, mostly at the MTCC and the airport-area halls. Their dates come from the organiser, not from a public calendar, so plan from the delegate pack.
If you are planning a company's 2027 show season now, list each show, its venue and its move-in dates, then book the cars for move-in and teardown first. Those are the days with no fixed finish time, which is exactly when an hourly booking pays off.
Where are the main exhibition venues, and how far are they?
Three of the four big venues sit at opposite ends of the city, which shapes every plan. Typical planning figures:
- Metro Toronto Convention Centre: under 1 km from Union Station, 5 to 10 minutes; about 27 km and 25 to 45 minutes from Pearson.
- Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place: about 4 to 5 km from Union, 10 to 20 minutes; about 24 km and 25 to 40 minutes from Pearson.
- Toronto Congress Centre, Dixon Road: about 25 km from Union, 25 to 40 minutes; about 6 km and 10 to 15 minutes from Pearson.
- The International Centre, Mississauga: about 30 km from Union, 30 to 45 minutes; about 5 km and 10 to 15 minutes from Pearson.
Each has its own guide: the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place and the Toronto Congress Centre.
How should delegate transport differ by venue?
The rule is simple. At the MTCC, most delegates staying downtown walk, so the car work is airport runs, VIPs and evenings. At Exhibition Place, the hall is close to downtown but not walkable from most hotels, so short Sprinter loops and hourly cars matter. At the airport-area halls, almost everyone needs a ride, and the Pearson-area hotels become the shuttle base.
A delegation staying downtown for an airport-area show should budget 25 to 45 minutes each morning against traffic. Our sibling post on event shuttle service planning explains how to size loops and headways for each case.
What does the November and December stretch look like?
It is the densest part of the calendar at Exhibition Place. The Royal fills the Enercare Centre and the Coliseum for ten days in early November, with daily capacity the Royal puts at 30,000 guests; then the One of a Kind Christmas Show moves in at the end of the month. Grounds traffic on Lake Shore Boulevard, Strachan Avenue and the Dufferin gate is heavier on weekends and evenings.
Downtown, the MTCC lists The Buildings Show for early December, aimed at architecture, design and construction professionals. December is also the peak month for corporate holiday parties, so cars and Sprinters on Thursday and Friday evenings book early. Our Royal Agricultural Winter Fair visit notes and the One of a Kind Show page cover those two shows in detail.
What does the January to March stretch look like?
Winter consumer shows at the Enercare Centre and the AutoShow at the MTCC. The Toronto International Boat Show opens in mid January, which suits marine dealers and buyers planning the season; our post on car service to the Toronto International Boat Show covers exhibitors and visitors. The AutoShow fills both MTCC buildings for ten days in February, and the AutoShow event page covers that visit.
The National Home Show closes the season in March. Our National Home Show Toronto guide covers exhibitor logistics and visitor rides. All three shows fall in snow season, and our cars run winter tires from November to April.

When should exhibitors book cars for move-in?
As soon as the move-in schedule is published. Move-in days start early, often before rush hour, and run late, with no fixed finish. The right booking is an hourly chauffeur from a 3-hour minimum, with extra time in 30-minute blocks: one SUV or Sprinter that runs the team from the hotel to the hall, waits during check-in, makes the supply run nobody planned and takes everyone to dinner. The hourly chauffeur service in Toronto page explains how the day is set up.
Freight, crates and display builds belong with each show's official freight contractor. Personal cases, laptops and banner stands travel in our vehicles; tell us the number and size of pieces when you book.
How should arrival day at Pearson be planned for delegates?
As a manifest: every delegate's name, flight, terminal and hotel. Every Pearson pickup is flight-tracked, with included waiting of 30 minutes from landing on Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals. Curbside pickup at the pre-arranged area is included; a name-board meet inside arrivals is available at booking for VIPs.
For solo delegates with a carry-on staying downtown for an MTCC show, the UP Express from Terminal 1 to Union, about 28 minutes, is often the simplest choice. A car wins for Terminal 3, groups, sample cases and late arrivals. Teams on the same flight can share an SUV or Sprinter.
What are the common timing traps on show days?
- Game nights downtown. The Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena are next to the MTCC; an evening session ending with a game or concert slows Front Street and Bremner Boulevard.
- Grounds events. Exhibition Place often hosts more than one event at once; a BMO Field date can coincide with a show close.
- The 427 and 401. Morning traffic toward the airport district and evening traffic away from it are both heavy.
- Snow. January and February shows meet the worst weather; build slack into every loop.
- Gardiner closures. Scheduled weekend closures push traffic onto Lake Shore; check Ontario 511 the night before.
Which hotels do delegates use for each venue?
Downtown hotels near Union and the Financial District serve the MTCC, often within walking distance through the PATH. Exhibition Place has Hotel X on the grounds and the King West area nearby. The airport-area halls use the hotel strips on Dixon Road and in the Airport Corporate Centre.
Our convention hotels in Toronto page groups hotels by venue, and the travel desk can book delegate flights and room blocks so the arrival manifest and the hotel list come from the same plan.
How do public visitors reach the consumer shows without a car?
Many visitors to the Royal, the Boat Show and the Home Show use transit, and for a solo adult that is often sensible. Exhibition Place has Exhibition GO station on the Lakeshore West line and TTC streetcar and bus service onto the grounds; the Royal's visitor page lists the 29 Dufferin bus and the 509 and 511 streetcars. Check GO Transit and the TTC before you travel, because event days change service. A chauffeured car makes more sense for families with strollers, older relatives, visitors from outside the GTA, buyers carrying brochures and samples, and anyone leaving after dark in January. On an hourly booking, purchases stay in the trunk while you walk the halls.
What vehicles suit each type of show traveller?
- Speaker or senior executive: first-class sedan or premier luxury SUV, often by the hour.
- Exhibitor team with kit: an SUV for up to six with cases, or a Sprinter.
- Delegation from one hotel: Executive Sprinter (7) or Sprinter luxury van (12).
- Large hotel-to-hall loops: coaches from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, named in the written plan.
- Visiting family at a consumer show: an SUV with child seats, available at booking.
How do corporate accounts help with a show calendar?
A company exhibiting at four or five Toronto shows a year re-enters the same names, hotels and cost centres each time unless it uses an account. A corporate account stores traveller profiles, preferred vehicle classes and billing references, so an assistant can book 20 arrivals without retyping them. Each ride still shows its fixed fare before confirmation, and the monthly invoice lists every trip by show.
What if a show date or venue changes?
It happens: shows move halls, shorten, or shift a weekend. That is why we plan from the organiser's current schedule and never guess. Individual bookings follow the sitewide cancellation rule, measured from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before is free, 72 hours or less is 10 %, 48 hours or less is 50 %, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100 %. Multi-vehicle programmes carry their own written terms.
How do I book transport for a Toronto trade show?
Book transfers and hourly chauffeurs in the reservation engine on any page or at /book/, with the venue and hall in the notes. The fixed fare appears before you confirm and includes the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route and gratuity, with HST shown separately. For shuttles and multi-vehicle programmes, send the venue, hotels, agenda and arrival pattern, and a coordinator prices the plan in writing.
