Enercare Centre car service from TorontoBlackLimousine.com covers Pearson transfers, hotel shuttles, exhibitor vehicles and hourly chauffeurs to 100 Princes' Boulevard at Exhibition Place. The Enercare Centre is about 5 km and 10 to 20 minutes from Union Station, and about 24 km and 25 to 40 minutes from Toronto Pearson (YYZ). Book your Enercare Centre ride direct and see the fixed fare first.
How do I book Enercare Centre car service?
Booking Enercare Centre car service takes a minute in our reservation engine. Enter your pickup address, choose "Enercare Centre, 100 Princes' Boulevard" as the destination, pick the time you need to be at the doors rather than the time the show opens, and select a vehicle. The engine shows the fixed, all-in fare before you confirm, including the chauffeur, fuel, any 407 ETR tolls, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately.
If your day involves the show floor, a client lunch, a supplier visit and an evening event, book the car by the hour instead. Our hourly chauffeur service keeps the same vehicle and chauffeur with you from a 3-hour minimum, which suits Exhibition Place because nothing nearby is walkable to anything else.
What and where is the Enercare Centre?
The Enercare Centre is the main exhibition building at Exhibition Place, the large waterfront grounds west of downtown between Lake Shore Boulevard and the Gardiner Expressway. Exhibition Place's own Enercare Centre page gives the address as 100 Princes' Boulevard and describes eight connected exhibit halls with more than a million square feet of space, which it calls Canada's largest exhibition and convention centre.
The building connects to the Automotive Building (formerly the Beanfield Centre and Allstream Centre) conference space, and to underground parking. Hotel X Toronto stands on the same grounds, and BMO Field and Coca-Cola Coliseum are a short walk away. That mix of uses is why the grounds can be quiet one evening and packed the next.
How far is the Enercare Centre from Pearson and downtown?
From Toronto Pearson, the Enercare Centre is about 24 km. A private car usually takes 25 to 40 minutes via Highway 427 south and the Gardiner Expressway east, leaving the Gardiner for Lake Shore Boulevard and the grounds. Rush hour on the 427 and the Gardiner's merge points can stretch that to an hour.
From Union Station and the Financial District it is about 5 km, typically 10 to 20 minutes along Lake Shore Boulevard or King Street West, depending on the time of day and what is happening at the grounds. The table gives the planning figures our dispatchers use.
| From | To the Enercare Centre | Typical drive time |
|---|---|---|
| Union Station / Financial District | about 5 km | 10–20 min |
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 24 km | 25–40 min |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ), Eireann Quay | about 3 km | 5–15 min |
| Yorkville & Midtown | about 8 km | 15–25 min |
| Etobicoke | about 15 km | 15–30 min |
| Mississauga City Centre | about 27 km | 25–40 min |
| North York | about 18 km | 25–40 min |
| Oakville | about 33 km | 30–45 min |
Where does a chauffeur drop off at Exhibition Place?
Exhibition Place is a campus with several roads and gates, and on show days some are managed by traffic staff. We drop at the main public entrance of the Enercare Centre on Princes' Boulevard unless the show organiser publishes a different arrival point, and we follow any directions from grounds staff on the day. Exhibition Place does not publish a limousine bay, so we do not claim one.
The Exhibition Place visiting page lists the current transit and parking arrangements. Exhibitors should note that the building's truck bays and loading ramps at the east and west ends are for freight and show contractors, not passenger cars. Personal cases, laptops and display kit are fine in our vehicles; crates go through the show's freight contractor.
Can I take transit to the Enercare Centre instead?
Yes, and for some visitors it is the right call. Exhibition Place has TTC streetcar service and Exhibition GO station on the Lakeshore West line, as the venue itself notes. Check routes and service changes on the TTC site and the GO Transit site before you travel, because major events change service patterns.
A car wins in other situations: arriving from Pearson with luggage, exhibitors with kit, groups who want to arrive together, anyone with mobility needs who can transfer to a seat, and late finishes when a crowd is waiting at the streetcar loop. For accessibility, we fold and stow wheelchairs and walkers for passengers who can transfer; for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, our wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available when booked in advance.
What is show-week traffic like around Exhibition Place?
Exhibition Place has its own traffic rhythm. A weekday trade show adds steady morning arrivals and an evening exit at close. A big consumer show on a weekend brings thousands of private cars hunting for parking. A Toronto FC or Argonauts game at BMO Field, or a concert at Coca-Cola Coliseum, can land on the same afternoon, and Lake Shore Boulevard, Strachan Avenue and the Dufferin gate then fill at the same time.
In late August, when the CNE takes over the grounds, the whole area runs differently; the Honda Indy no longer runs here, having moved to Markham Centre from 2026. We check the grounds' calendar, BMO Field fixtures and Ontario 511 before each show day, and we move pickups to the quieter side of the grounds when one gate is overloaded. Our BMO Field games page explains the stadium pattern.
When should we leave for a morning show at the Enercare Centre?
From a Financial District hotel, a 9 a.m. exhibitor check-in usually needs a car moving at about 8:15; the distance is short but the Gardiner ramps and Lake Shore lights are slow at that hour. From Yorkville or Midtown, allow 35 to 45 minutes. From the hotels near Pearson, leave about an hour ahead on a weekday.
On move-in days exhibitors are often on site much earlier, before rush hour, which makes the drive faster but means the chauffeur must be booked for a very early start. We confirm early pickups the evening before and track the chauffeur's position from dispatch. If a show day coincides with a weekday BMO Field match, we build in extra time for the afternoon return.
Delegate and visitor shuttles to the Enercare Centre
The Enercare Centre hosts trade-only shows and huge public shows, and the shuttle plan is different for each. A trade show with room blocks downtown and near Pearson needs two services: a short downtown loop with Sprinters, and an express from the airport hotels. A consumer show usually needs a VIP or exhibitor service rather than a public shuttle, because the public arrives by car and transit.
We size downtown loops by the morning peak and the loop time along Lake Shore, which changes with traffic more than distance suggests. For heavy loads, we add 55-seat coaches from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network and name them in the written plan. Our Sprinter group transportation page explains vehicle sizing.
Exhibitor vehicles for move-in and teardown
Move-in and teardown are the long days. An exhibitor team arrives with banners, product samples, laptops and spare clothes, needs to wait for a booth number, runs out for supplies, and comes back. On the final day it leaves late after the booth is struck. A single SUV or a 12-seat Sprinter luxury van held by the hour handles that far better than a string of one-way rides.
Our hourly minimum is 3 hours for sedans, SUVs, vans and Sprinters, and extra time runs in 30-minute blocks, so a 10-hour move-in day is straightforward to book. The chauffeur waits on the grounds or nearby, and every change in plan is a text message to the driver rather than a new booking.
VIP and speaker transport for Exhibition Place events
Keynote speakers, sponsors' guests and officials arriving at Exhibition Place want a quiet car, a precise arrival and a chauffeur who will be at the right gate when the event team releases them. We use first-class sedans or the premier luxury SUV for these runs, with a meet-and-greet at Pearson available as an add-on at booking.
For VIPs moving between the Enercare Centre, a gala at the Automotive Building (formerly Beanfield Centre) and a hotel, we usually recommend the car stays with them all evening. The VIP event transportation page covers red-carpet arrivals and coordination with event security, and our corporate events and galas page covers the evening programme.
Why book an hourly chauffeur for a day at Exhibition Place?
Exhibition Place is a short drive from everywhere downtown but not close to anywhere on foot, and taxis and rideshare cars tend to be scarce exactly when a show closes. An hourly chauffeur solves both problems: the car is already on the grounds when you walk out, and it takes you on to lunch in Liberty Village, a meeting in the Financial District or the airport without a wait.
It is also the easiest way to manage a day with an unknown finish, such as a teardown, a board meeting during a show or a client tour of the floor. Our private chauffeur service page describes how a full day works, and you can set it up in the reservation engine with the fare shown before you confirm.
Which shows and events use the Enercare Centre?
The Enercare Centre hosts large trade shows, consumer shows, conventions and fairs year round. The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is held at Exhibition Place in November; check the Royal's official site for the current year and see our Royal Agricultural Winter Fair page. The CNE runs on the grounds from late August to Labour Day.
Other recurring shows move between Toronto venues from year to year, so we never assume. Check each show's official site for the venue and dates, and look at our conventions and trade shows page for notes. The Enercare Centre's official page is the best starting point for what is on.
Which hotels work best for Enercare Centre shows?
Hotel X Toronto is on the Exhibition Place grounds, which makes it the closest hotel by far, and the Liberty Village and King West area has more options a few minutes north. Most large shows also block rooms in the Financial District, about 5 km east, and some use the Pearson airport strip.
Our convention hotels in Toronto page groups hotels by venue, and the Entertainment District and King West hotels page covers the closest downtown front drives. If you are still arranging rooms and flights, the travel desk can help with delegate hotel blocks and flights so the ground plan and the accommodation are built together.
How do Pearson arrivals work for Enercare Centre visitors?
Every Pearson pickup is flight-tracked, and the fare includes curbside pickup at the designated pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals level, as Toronto Pearson describes. A meet-and-greet inside arrivals with a name board is available at booking for VIPs and first-time visitors. Included waiting is 30 minutes from actual landing on Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals.
From Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, the run to the Enercare Centre or a hotel on the grounds is the 427 and the Gardiner, about 24 km. Exhibitors landing with sample cases should book an SUV rather than a sedan; four people with checked bags rarely fit a sedan comfortably. Our Pearson terminal pickup guide explains what to do after you clear customs.
What vehicle should I book for the Enercare Centre?
Choose by people and bags. A business sedan suits one or two travellers with carry-ons; the electric Tesla Model Y is the same capacity for companies tracking emissions. Up to six with luggage, or an exhibitor team with kit, needs an SUV. Seven to twelve people fit the Sprinter classes, from the 7-seat executive Sprinter to the 12-seat luxury van.
For larger groups, coaches and stretch limousines come from vetted partner operators, and we say so plainly. Every vehicle class on the fleet page shows capacity, and every fare appears in the reservation engine before you book.
How do I book Enercare Centre transportation direct?
Book transfers and hourly chauffeurs in the reservation engine on any page or at /book/, with the Enercare Centre as your pickup or drop-off. You see the fixed fare before you confirm, with no app and no aggregator in the middle. For multi-vehicle shuttle programmes, send the hotels, the show agenda and the arrival pattern, and a coordinator prices the plan in writing.
The sitewide cancellation policy applies to individual bookings: no charge more than 72 hours before pickup, 10 % at 72 hours or less, 50 % at 48 hours or less, and 100 % at 24 hours or less or for a no-show. Our wider trade show transportation page covers programmes that span several Toronto venues, including the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
