Etobicoke to Toronto airport is one of the shortest runs we drive: Pearson is about 12 km and typically 15–25 minutes from central Etobicoke via Highway 427. Downtown Toronto is about 18 km and 20–35 minutes along the Gardiner. TorontoBlackLimousine.com sends a black sedan, SUV, van or Sprinter with a professional chauffeur. Book your Etobicoke car directly, one way or by the hour.
Etobicoke to Toronto airport: the quick run to Pearson
Etobicoke is Toronto's west end, and Toronto Pearson sits just across its north-western boundary in Mississauga, which makes the trip from Etobicoke to Toronto airport short and predictable by city standards. From the Kingsway, Islington Village or Humber Bay Shores, the chauffeur usually joins Highway 427 north and follows it to the 409 or Dixon Road into the airport; from Rexdale, Dixon Road and Airport Road are often quicker than any highway. The reservation engine shows a fixed all-in fare before you confirm: chauffeur, car, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. There is no meter running in the 427 traffic and no surge at 5 am. For step-by-step detail about the airport itself, see our Pearson airport transportation guide.

Airport limo in Etobicoke: terminals, waiting and pickup
An airport limo from Etobicoke is often booked for very early flights, because the drive is short and families want to sleep until the last minute. Even so, allow a buffer: the 427 has its own rush hours and collisions. For departures, enter the terminal, Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, and the chauffeur drives straight to that departures curb. For arrivals, the flight is tracked, and included waiting is 30 minutes on Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals, from actual landing. Pre-booked cars meet passengers at Pearson's designated pickup area on the arrivals-level curb; you tell the pickup-area dispatcher you have a pre-arranged ride (Toronto Pearson). Meet & greet inside the terminal with a name board is an optional add-on, available at booking. Our Pearson airport limo page lists everything that is included.
Car service in Etobicoke: beyond the airport
A car service in Etobicoke covers far more than Pearson. Our regular bookings include commuters to downtown towers on days with early meetings, business visitors staying on the Dixon Road hotel strip, parents collecting students from Humber College, seniors going to appointments and families heading to weddings and dinners. Each is booked the same way: the address, the destination or number of hours, the vehicle, and a fixed fare before you confirm. Etobicoke's position also makes it a natural starting point for trips west, to Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton and Niagara along the QEW, and north to Vaughan or the Toronto Congress Centre. One dispatch desk handles all of it, so an Etobicoke limo, a black car and a car service are simply different names for the same careful booking.
The hourly chauffeur for west-end meetings and events
Etobicoke and the airport area form one of the country's densest office and hotel districts, and a visiting team can easily have meetings on Dixon Road, at a head office in the Airport Corporate Centre, at a warehouse in Rexdale and at a restaurant on the Queensway, all in one day. That is what our lead product, the hourly private chauffeur, is for: one car and one chauffeur for a three-hour minimum or the whole day, extra time in 30-minute blocks, bags locked in the trunk and the last stop at Pearson. It also suits trade-show days at the Toronto Congress Centre, when exhibitors need a car between the hall, the hotel and dinner. See our hourly chauffeur service and trade show transportation pages.
Toronto Congress Centre and trade shows near the airport
The Toronto Congress Centre on Dixon Road is one of the largest convention and exhibition venues in the region, about 10 km from central Etobicoke and a few minutes from Pearson (official site). Exhibitors fly in, stay at nearby hotels and need cars between the airport, the hotel and the hall at set-up, show and tear-down times. Our Toronto Congress Centre car service page covers entrances and drop-off, and our conventions and trade shows guide lists the busy seasons. Across the airport in Mississauga, the International Centre on Airport Road hosts large consumer and trade shows too (official site); see our International Centre page.

Airport hotels on the Etobicoke side
The hotels along Dixon Road, Carlingview Drive and around the 427 and 401 interchange are the busiest hotel cluster outside downtown Toronto, filled with airline crews, business travellers, wedding guests and families on overnight connections. The hotel-to-terminal trip is usually 5–15 minutes. Many hotels run their own shuttles on a timetable; a pre-booked car is the choice when you want to leave at your own time, with luggage for a family, or with a stop on the way. Our Airport Corporate Centre and Etobicoke hotels guide and Pearson airport hotels page list the properties with pickup notes. We collect at the entrance the hotel designates and are not affiliated with any hotel.
Etobicoke neighbourhoods our chauffeurs cover
Etobicoke stretches from Lake Ontario to Steeles Avenue, so the pickup note matters:
- Humber Bay Shores and Mimico: lakeside condo towers by the Gardiner, with fast access downtown and to the 427.
- New Toronto and Long Branch: Lake Shore Boulevard West, Humber College's Lakeshore campus and the GO stations.
- The Kingsway and Islington Village: large homes and Bloor Street West shops, close to Kipling and Islington subway stations.
- Markland Wood, Eatonville and Richview: family streets near the 427 and the Etobicoke Creek.
- Rexdale and Thistletown: north Etobicoke, closest to Pearson, Humber College's North campus and the casino at Woodbine.
- The Queensway and Sherway: shopping, restaurants and Sherway Gardens at the 427 and QEW.
Etobicoke to downtown Toronto for work and nights out
Downtown is about 18 km from central Etobicoke, and 15–25 minutes from Humber Bay Shores, via the Gardiner Expressway or Lake Shore Boulevard. The Gardiner is fast outside rush hours; when it is closed for maintenance or a collision, the chauffeur uses Lake Shore or the Queensway, and the fixed fare does not change. Typical downtown bookings include offices on Bay Street, a Blue Jays or Leafs game, a concert at Scotiabank Arena, a Theatre District show or a dinner on King Street West. For evening events, book hourly: the chauffeur waits nearby, and you avoid the ride scramble when the crowd leaves. See our downtown Toronto car service and concert and game day limo pages.
Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto and Woodbine
In Rexdale, on the Woodbine site, Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto combines a casino, a hotel and a concert theatre (Great Canadian). Visitors must be 19 or over, and we provide transport only. From central Etobicoke it is about 15 km and 15–25 minutes; from Pearson it is only a few kilometres. For concerts and dinners at the resort, an hourly booking keeps the car available and gets everyone home without anyone driving; our Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto page covers drop-off. For horse-racing days at Woodbine Racetrack, check the racing calendar on the track's own site and book early for the big race days.
Humber College, Sherway Gardens and west-end errands
Humber College has two main Etobicoke campuses, North on Humber College Boulevard in Rexdale and Lakeshore on Lake Shore Boulevard West (Humber), and we regularly drive international students and their families between the campuses and Pearson, often with several large suitcases, so an SUV or van is the usual booking. Sherway Gardens, at the 427 and the QEW, is the west end's largest mall (official site); with an hourly booking, the chauffeur waits while you shop and then carries on to dinner or the airport. For errands with several stops, medical appointments or a day of house-hunting, the hourly option usually beats a string of one-way trips.
Which vehicle suits an Etobicoke trip?
- Business sedan or Tesla Model Y: two passengers and two bags for the quick Pearson run.
- First-class sedan: a Mercedes S-Class for executives, clients and special nights.
- SUV or premier luxury SUV: six passengers and four bags, our winter and family choice.
- Executive Sprinter: seven lounge seats for a team moving between the airport, a hotel and the Congress Centre.
- Sprinter luxury van: twelve seats for weddings, sports teams and group nights out.
Stretch limousines and party buses are arranged through vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, with longer minimums.
Weddings and celebrations in Etobicoke
Etobicoke has lakeside parks for photos, banquet halls near the 427 and churches across the Kingsway and Islington, and wedding days here often combine all three. A typical plan pairs a first-class sedan or premier luxury SUV for the couple with a Sprinter for the wedding party, booked by the hour so photos at Humber Bay Park and traffic on the Queensway do not become a worry; stretch limousines come from vetted partners with a four-hour minimum. Multi-vehicle weddings can be priced in writing by a coordinator. Our wedding limo service covers timelines, and our birthday limo and anniversary limo pages cover smaller celebrations.
Kipling, the GO train or a car to the airport?
Etobicoke has good transit links. Kipling station is the western end of the Bloor-Danforth subway and a GO Transit stop, with buses from there towards the airport, and the Lakeshore West GO line stops at Mimico and Long Branch (GO Transit). The UP Express does not stop in Etobicoke; the nearest stations are Bloor, Mount Dennis and Weston. For a solo traveller with a carry-on, transit can work well. For families, heavy luggage, Terminal 3, early departures and late arrivals, the 15–25-minute drive in a booked car is simpler, and the fare is fixed in advance. Our UP Express vs limo guide compares the options.

Winter mornings and the 427
The 427, the Gardiner and the 401 meet in Etobicoke, and a single collision at the interchanges can back up traffic for kilometres (Highway 427 background). From November to April our cars run on winter tires, and after a snowfall the dispatcher moves early airport pickups 10–15 minutes earlier. For a 6 am departure from Etobicoke, most travellers book a 4:00–4:30 am pickup, which the chauffeur confirms the night before. We check Ontario 511 before each early departure, and a longer route forced by a closure never changes the fare you confirmed.
