A wedding limo in Toronto from TorontoBlackLimousine.com is booked by the hour around your timeline: a stretch limousine seating 8 to 18 for the wedding party (4-hour minimum), a black SUV or a Rolls-Royce on request for the couple, and Sprinters or coaches for guests. Book your wedding limo for a fixed, all-in fare, or ask a coordinator to price a multi-vehicle plan in writing.
Wedding limo Toronto: what do couples usually book?
Most Toronto weddings need two or three kinds of transport, not one. The wedding party travels from the getting-ready addresses to the ceremony, then on to photos and the reception. The couple often wants a car of their own for the grand exit. And guests may need a shuttle between the hotel, the ceremony and the venue, especially when the reception is outside the city.
We book all of it on one plan. A typical Toronto wedding limousine package combines a stretch limousine for the bridal party, a premier luxury SUV or first-class sedan for the couple, and a Sprinter or coach for guests. Smaller weddings sometimes need only one black SUV kept by the hour through the day. The right mix depends on head count, the distance between venues and how much the photos matter.
Which wedding cars can I book in Toronto?
| Vehicle | Seats | Hourly minimum | Wedding role |
|---|---|---|---|
| First-class sedan (S-Class) | 2 | 3 h | The couple's getaway car |
| Premier luxury SUV | 6 | 3 h | Parents, the couple, small parties |
| Rolls-Royce or Maybach | 2–4 | on request | Classic couple car for photos |
| Stretch limousine | 8, 10, 14 or 18 | 4 h | Bridal party and groomsmen |
| Sprinter luxury van | 12 | 3 h | Guest shuttle, family groups |
| Party bus | 20 or 30 | 4–5 h | Wedding party with a big crowd |
| Coach | 55 | on request | Guest shuttles between hotel and venue |
Our own dispatch runs the sedans, SUVs and Sprinters. Stretch limousines, party buses, coaches and Rolls-Royce or Maybach cars come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and we say so at booking. See the Rolls-Royce chauffeur page for the classic car option.
How do I plan the wedding day timeline with a limo?
Start from the ceremony time and work backwards. The chauffeur should arrive at the getting-ready address at least fifteen minutes before departure, so photos with the car are not rushed. Allow the real drive time plus twenty minutes of buffer between each location; wedding parties are always slower to load than they expect, and dresses need careful handling at every door.
A realistic plan looks like this:
- Chauffeur arrives at the getting-ready location, vehicle staged for photos.
- Wedding party departs for the ceremony with buffer for traffic.
- After the ceremony, the car carries the party to one or two photo locations.
- Arrival at the reception, usually timed with the planner and the DJ.
- Late-evening exit for the couple, often in a separate car.
Send the timeline, the addresses and the planner's details in the booking notes. Our how to book a wedding limo guide walks through the questions dispatch will ask.
How far are popular wedding areas from downtown Toronto and Pearson?
Planning figures from downtown Toronto (Union Station area) and from Toronto Pearson (YYZ), useful when guests fly in:
| Wedding area | From downtown Toronto | From Pearson (YYZ) |
|---|---|---|
| Casa Loma / midtown | 5 km, 10–20 min | about 25 km, 25–40 min |
| Distillery District | 2 km, 5–15 min | about 30 km, 30–45 min |
| Vaughan | 35 km, 30–45 min | about 20 km, 20–30 min |
| King City | 45 km, 40–55 min | about 40 km, 35–50 min |
| Caledon | 55 km, 45–60 min | about 40 km, 35–50 min |
| Niagara-on-the-Lake | 125 km, 85–105 min | about 120 km, 80–100 min |
The drive time is the main reason a 4-hour stretch booking sometimes becomes six or seven hours. For estate and countryside venues see our pages on King City, Caledon and Niagara-on-the-Lake.
How long should I book a wedding limo for?
Stretch limousines carry a 4-hour minimum and sedans, SUVs and Sprinters a 3-hour minimum, with extra time in 30-minute blocks. For a city wedding with the ceremony and reception close together, four to five hours usually covers the getting-ready pickup, the ceremony, one photo stop and the reception arrival.
If the ceremony and reception are far apart, or the photographer wants two locations, plan six to eight hours. A split booking is often better value than one very long one: the stretch for the afternoon circuit, and a separate sedan or SUV booked later for the couple's exit and any late-night family drop-offs. Dispatch will suggest the split when it helps.

Can you provide guest shuttles for a Toronto wedding?
Yes, and it is often the most useful part of the transport plan. When a reception is at a country venue in King City, Caledon or Niagara-on-the-Lake, a shuttle means guests do not drive after the toasts. A 12-seat Sprinter van suits small groups; a 55-seat coach moves a large guest list in one or two runs.
Shuttles run on a schedule: a pickup at the hotel before the ceremony, a transfer to the reception, and one or two late-night returns. Our blog post on wedding shuttles for guests in Toronto covers how many runs to plan. If guests are flying in, our travel desk can help with flights and room blocks.
What does a wedding limo in Toronto cost?
We do not publish figures because the fare depends on the vehicles, the number of hours, the Saturday you choose and the distance between venues. What is fixed: the fare in our reservation engine includes the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if the route uses them, airport fees where they apply and the gratuity, with HST shown separately. No surge, no meter.
For a single vehicle, enter your date and addresses at /book/ and the fixed fare appears before you confirm. For weddings with several vehicles and a timed shuttle plan, a coordinator prices the whole day in writing. Read how our fares work to see what moves the total.
When should we book the wedding limo?
As soon as the date and venues are fixed. Saturdays from May to October are the busiest days of the year for stretch limousines, and long weekends and the fall colour season go early too. Many couples book several months ahead; that is sensible for stretches and classic cars, which are in shortest supply.
Early booking carries little risk: cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, then 10 % at 72 hours or less, 50 % at 48 hours or less and 100 % at 24 hours or less. Confirm the final timeline with dispatch a week or two before the day, including the photographer's plan.
Can the wedding limo stop for photos?
Yes, photo stops are built into most wedding bookings. Popular Toronto choices include the Distillery District's brick lanes, Casa Loma's grounds, the waterfront, Graffiti Alley, the Toronto Music Garden and High Park in blossom season. Many locations have their own rules for professional photography; some require a permit or a booking, so check before you add them to the plan.
Casa Loma manages photography on its property, and the City of Toronto sets rules for filming and photography in city parks. The chauffeur will stage the car where it can legally stop, not always at the exact spot the photographer prefers; build in time to walk.
Do we need anything legal sorted before the wedding day?
Transport is the easy part. For the ceremony itself, Ontario requires a marriage licence or the publication of banns, and an authorized officiant; the province explains the steps on its getting married page. Many couples forget that the licence must be at the ceremony, so give it to someone who is travelling in the first car.
From our side, send the timeline, the name and number of the day-of contact, and any accessibility needs. If a grandparent uses a wheelchair, tell us: our cars take folding wheelchairs and walkers for passengers who can transfer to a seat, and for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, our wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available when booked in advance.
Can the wedding limo pick up family from Pearson?
Yes. Toronto Pearson (YYZ) is about 27 km and 25–45 minutes from downtown. We track every flight and meet arrivals at the pre-arranged pickup area described on Pearson's website, with 30 minutes of waiting included on Canadian and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals. Meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is an optional add-on, which relatives travelling alone often appreciate.
An SUV or Sprinter handles luggage far better than a stretch, so book airport arrivals separately from the wedding day. Our Pearson airport limo page has the arrival details.
What happens if it rains or snows on the wedding day?
Rain changes the photo plan, not the booking. The chauffeur carries umbrellas, stages the car as close to each door as it can legally stop and keeps the cabin warm. Many photographers have an indoor backup such as a gallery, a hotel lobby or a covered market; tell dispatch the backup address so the chauffeur knows it.
For winter weddings our cars run winter tires from November to April, and dispatch watches the forecast for squalls on the 400 and the QEW. If a storm makes a long drive unsafe, we talk to the couple and the planner about timing changes early rather than on the morning itself.
Is alcohol allowed in a wedding limo?
Many couples ask about a toast in the car, and the answer is no. Ontario's drinking age is 19, and alcohol in vehicles is regulated under the Liquor Licence and Control Act, 2019, with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario as the regulator. Alcohol is not allowed in our vehicles, including partner stretch limousines, party buses and wedding shuttles, so the toast happens at the venue or the photo stop.
Regardless of vehicle: the chauffeur never drinks, no open drinks come into the car at photo stops, and spills that need professional cleaning are charged to the booking. For the dress, a toast at the reception is wiser than champagne in a moving car anyway.
Should we decorate the wedding car?
Ribbons on the grille and a small floral piece are usually fine; ask first, and never use tape, glue or anything that can scratch paint or block the driver's view. Flowers and décor go on after the chauffeur arrives, so the car can be checked before and after. "Just married" signs must be secure at highway speeds or removed before a long drive.
If you want a white car for the couple and a black stretch for the party, note it in the booking; colours depend on the partner fleet available for your date and are confirmed in writing.
How do I book a wedding limo in Toronto?
For one vehicle, use the reservation engine: choose hourly service, select the vehicle, set the date, pickup time and hours, and put the timeline in the notes. The fixed, all-in fare appears before you confirm. For weddings with several vehicles or guest shuttles, say so in the notes and a coordinator will price the full plan in writing.
