TorontoBlackLimousine.com picks up at the Hyatt Regency Toronto on King Street West, InterContinental Toronto Centre, The Ritz-Carlton, Shangri-La, Bisha, 1 Hotel Toronto and other Entertainment District and King West hotels. Pearson is about 25 km away, typically 25–40 minutes via the Gardiner and Highway 427. Keep an hourly chauffeur for game nights and theatre, and book your King West hotel pickup with the fixed fare shown first.
Hyatt Regency Toronto car service: pickups in the Entertainment District
The Hyatt Regency Toronto sits on King Street West in the heart of the theatre blocks, a short walk from the Princess of Wales and Royal Alexandra theatres, Roy Thomson Hall, the CN Tower and Rogers Centre. That location is why guests there book cars differently from Financial District guests: they need a Pearson transfer, but they also need a car for a game, a concert or a late dinner, when every street around them is full of people. We handle both. You enter the hotel or address in our reservation engine, choose a vehicle, and see a fixed, all-in fare before you confirm; the chauffeur waits at the front entrance or the nearest legal stopping point and messages you when the car is there.
Entertainment District and King West hotels we pick up from
These hotels were checked on their own sites or brand booking pages on 30 September 2026. We drive to them as addresses, with no partnership implied.
- Hyatt Regency Toronto, 370 King Street West.
- InterContinental Toronto Centre, 225 Front Street West, attached to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
- The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto, 181 Wellington Street West (hotel site).
- Shangri-La Toronto, 188 University Avenue (hotel site).
- Bisha Hotel Toronto, in the Entertainment District near King and Blue Jays Way (hotel site).
- 1 Hotel Toronto, 550 Wellington Street West, in King West (hotel site).
Guests also ask about the Novotel Toronto Centre; it is at 45 The Esplanade, east of Union Station near St. Lawrence Market rather than in the Entertainment District, and we pick up there the same way. Any hotel not listed can be booked by address.
How far is the Entertainment District from Pearson and the venues?
Planning figures from King and John streets, weekday, outside the rush:
| From an Entertainment District hotel to | Distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ), Terminal 1 or 3 | about 25 km | 25–40 min |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ) | about 3 km | 8–15 min |
| Union Station | about 1.5 km | 5–10 min |
| Rogers Centre / Scotiabank Arena | 1–2 km | 5–12 min (much longer on event nights) |
| RBC Amphitheatre (formerly Budweiser Stage), Ontario Place | about 4 km | 10–20 min |
| Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place | about 4 km | 10–20 min |
| Yorkville | about 5 km | 12–20 min |
| Toronto Congress Centre (near Pearson) | about 25 km | 25–40 min |
From King West, the Gardiner on-ramps at Spadina and Jameson put Pearson within reach faster than from the east side of downtown. On game or concert nights, the first kilometre can take longer than the next twenty, so the dispatcher sets the pickup time with that in mind.
King West hotels versus Financial District hotels for a car pickup
King West and the Entertainment District are livelier and more crowded at night than the Financial District, and hotel drives are small. Expect the chauffeur to stop at the curb in front of the hotel, not in a large porte-cochère, and to move if police or the hotel ask. We message you the exact spot. During the day the area is easy; after 9 p.m. on weekends, King Street can be slow between Spadina and University, and a side-street pickup is often quicker. For the quieter business core, see our Financial District hotels page.
Shangri-La Toronto parking, or a chauffeured car instead?
Travellers search for Shangri-La Toronto parking and parking at other Entertainment District hotels because the streets have little on-street space and many garages fill on event nights. The hotels publish their own parking arrangements; we do not quote them. For a short stay, a chauffeured transfer from Pearson and an hourly chauffeur on busy days are often simpler than bringing a car downtown, especially if you plan to see a game or show when surrounding garages fill.
What the fare includes
There are no prices on this site. Our reservation engine shows the full fixed fare before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity, plus HST shown separately. It depends on vehicle class, distance and time, extra stops, waiting beyond the included allowance, and the date and hour, including event nights. Read how our fares work, then see your exact fare for your hotel and time.
Game nights at Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena
Blue Jays games, Maple Leafs and Raptors games and arena concerts put tens of thousands of people onto Front Street, Bremner Boulevard and the streets around the hotels. For many guests the answer is to walk to the game and book a car for afterwards, or to keep a chauffeur by the hour for a client night that starts at a restaurant and ends at a bar. We stage the car away from the main exits and send the exact pickup point before the final whistle or encore. See our Blue Jays game car service and Scotiabank Arena games and concerts pages, and check the Scotiabank Arena calendar when you book.

Theatre, concerts and dinners on King Street
The theatre blocks of King Street West, Roy Thomson Hall and the restaurants of King West and Ossington are what many hotel guests came for. A show night is ideal for our hourly chauffeur service: drinks at the hotel, dinner, the curtain, and a ride home or to a late bar, with the chauffeur nearby throughout. See our theatre district page for curtain-time traffic and drop-off tips. Show times are on the Mirvish and Roy Thomson Hall sites.
InterContinental Toronto Centre and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre
InterContinental Toronto Centre is attached to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, which makes it a natural base for delegates and exhibitors. During major shows, Front Street West near the convention centre is busy with taxis, shuttles and deliveries. We pick up at the hotel's own entrance or at a nearby agreed point, carry trade-show kits in an SUV or Sprinter, and run hourly bookings for sales teams visiting clients across the GTA. See conventions and trade shows and our trade show transportation service.
TIFF and film-festival nights on King Street
The Toronto International Film Festival's main hub is along King Street West, usually in September, and the street is often closed to cars for the opening days. Hotels in the Entertainment District are in the middle of it. We plan pickups on parallel streets, share a map pin, and keep cars staged for publicists and talent. See our TIFF transportation page and book early in the summer.
Arriving at Pearson and heading to King West
The chauffeur tracks your flight and meets you curbside at the terminal's designated pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals level, per Toronto Pearson. Meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is an optional add-on at booking. Included waiting is 30 minutes from actual landing for Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes for other international arrivals. The drive to King West is usually 25 to 40 minutes, and the chauffeur takes your luggage to the hotel entrance.

Leaving for Pearson from an Entertainment District hotel
For an international flight, plan to leave about three hours before departure, and about two hours before a domestic or US flight, with extra time on weekday mornings and Friday afternoons. From King West, the chauffeur usually takes the Gardiner west to Highway 427 and north to the airport. If the Gardiner is closed for maintenance, as it sometimes is on weekends, the route moves to Lake Shore or the 401 and the dispatcher adjusts the pickup time.
Nights out in King West and Queen West
For birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties or a night of bars on King West, Ossington and Queen West, a chauffeur removes the question of who drives and where to find a taxi at 2 a.m. A Sprinter luxury van carries a group of up to 12 together; a stretch limousine or party bus is arranged through our partner network. See bachelor and bachelorette nights for planning notes.
Vehicles for King West hotel pickups
| Vehicle | Seats / bags | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Business sedan | 2 / 2 | Airport runs, single meetings |
| First-class sedan | 2 / 2 | Executive guests, show nights |
| Premier luxury SUV | 6 / 4 | Talent, VIPs, families with luggage |
| Executive Sprinter | 7 / 7 | Teams, delegations |
| Sprinter luxury van | 12 / 12 | Groups, crews, nights out |
Corporate events and galas from Entertainment District hotels
Hotel ballrooms in the Entertainment District host galas, award nights and product launches, and guests often arrive from other hotels or from Pearson the same afternoon. We run arrival waves for event planners: a list of names, flights and hotels, a dispatcher who tracks them all, and chauffeurs who drop each guest at the event entrance. At the end of the night, cars wait in a planned order so senior guests are not left standing on King Street. See corporate events and galas for how we plan multi-car evenings, and note that coaches and stretch limousines come from vetted partner operators on the same booking.
Day trips from King West: Niagara, wine country and Canada's Wonderland
Guests with a free day often head to Niagara Falls, about 130 km and typically 85 to 110 minutes away on the QEW, or north to Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan, about 40 km and 35 to 50 minutes on the 400. Both work best as hourly or full-day bookings: the chauffeur waits while you visit, carries anything you buy, and brings you back to the hotel door without a search for a train or a tour-bus seat. Child seats are available at booking for family days. See our Niagara Falls and wine tours page for a sample day.
Planning the trip around the car
Our travel desk arranges flights, an Entertainment District hotel and the chauffeured transfers on one itinerary with BookingWorldwide.net, which helps event planners and production coordinators. You can still book cars on their own at any time.
Cancellation and changes
Cancelling more than 72 hours before pickup is free; 72 hours or less is 10 %, 48 hours or less is 50 %, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100 %, measured from the scheduled pickup. For nearby hotels see our waterfront hotels and Yorkville hotels pages or the hotels index.
