An RBC Amphitheatre limo, the venue formerly called Budweiser Stage, takes you to the lakeside amphitheatre at 909 Lake Shore Boulevard West, Ontario Place, renamed in October 2025. It is about 5 km, 10–20 minutes, from Union Station and about 24 km, typically 20–40 minutes, from Pearson (YYZ). Most concert-goers keep an hourly chauffeur for dinner, the show and the ride home. Book your concert car and see the fixed fare first.
RBC Amphitheatre Toronto limo: the venue formerly called Budweiser Stage
If your ticket, your friends or your search history still say Budweiser Stage, you are in the right place. Live Nation renamed the venue the RBC Amphitheatre on 28 October 2025, and GO Transit's own guide to the RBC Amphitheatre confirms the change and the address, 909 Lake Shore Boulevard West. Older tickets, maps and taxi drivers will use both names for a while; our chauffeurs know them as the same place. What you book with TorontoBlackLimousine.com is one car and one professional chauffeur on a fixed, all-in fare shown in our reservation engine before you confirm, either one-way or as an hourly chauffeur in Toronto who stays nearby through the show.
Where is the amphitheatre, and why is it tricky to leave?
The amphitheatre sits on the Ontario Place waterfront, south of Lake Shore Boulevard West and across from Exhibition Place, with the lake on three sides. That setting is what makes summer shows there special, and it is also why exits are slow: the whole audience leaves along a small number of paths and roads that feed back onto Lake Shore Boulevard, which is also the road every taxi, ride-hail car and private vehicle is trying to use at that moment. Ontario Place has been under redevelopment for several years, and access routes around the site have changed with construction; the Ontario Place site posts current information. Concert listings are on the venue's Live Nation page.

When is concert season at the lake?
As an open-air amphitheatre the venue has traditionally run its concert season from late spring to early autumn, with the busiest stretch in July and August. Shows usually start in the evening, often with an opening act, and finish late. Live Nation and RBC have announced plans to rebuild the venue as a year-round amphitheatre, with a closure for renovations reported from fall 2027 and a phased reopening after that; treat those dates as announced plans and check the official listings for your show. We do not publish concert dates here; buy your tickets, then book the car.
From downtown hotels to the show
Guests at the Entertainment District hotels and the Financial District hotels are only a few kilometres away, but the walk is long, exposed and not much fun in heels or a summer storm. The chauffeured route runs west on Lake Shore Boulevard or the Gardiner to the Ontario Place and Exhibition area, then to whichever drop-off point traffic control is using that night. From the waterfront hotels on Queens Quay it is a short, scenic drive along the lake.
Pearson to the RBC Amphitheatre
Flying in for one show is common for big summer tours. The chauffeur meets you at the pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals curb at Terminal 1 or 3, or inside arrivals with a name board if you added meet and greet. Flights are tracked and waiting is included from actual landing: 30 minutes for Canadian and US flights, 60 for other international arrivals. The route is Highway 427 south and the Gardiner east, about 24 km, typically 20–40 minutes. Bags stay locked in the car or go to your hotel first, and after the show the same chauffeur can take you to an airport hotel for an early departure.
Drop-off and pickup around Ontario Place
There is no published limousine zone, and arrangements on a show night depend on construction at Ontario Place and other events at Exhibition Place across the road. On arrival the chauffeur drops you as close to the entrance as police and event staff allow. For the return we never wait in the main post-show queue on Lake Shore. Instead:
east toward Strachan Avenue, depending on where you are heading.
- Before you go in, the chauffeur agrees a meet point by text, usually north of Lake Shore near Exhibition Place or
- During the last few songs the car moves into position and you receive the exact spot and plate number.
- Walk out with the crowd, cross at the controlled crossing, and head to the meet point.
- The car leaves away from the bottleneck rather than through it.
The walk is usually five to ten minutes and saves a long wait. For anyone with mobility needs we arrange the closest practical pickup and wait there.
Transit versus a chauffeured car
GO Transit names Exhibition GO station as the closest station, on the Lakeshore West line, and TTC streetcars run to the area; check GO Transit and the TTC for service on your night. Transit is a sensible choice for a couple travelling light along the GO line. A chauffeured car wins for groups, guests coming from Pearson or from suburbs away from the rail line, families with children and anyone who does not want to stand on a crowded platform at 11.30 pm. It also means nobody has to drive home after a night of drinks on the lawn.
Why an hourly chauffeur suits a lakeside concert
Concert finish times are set by the artist, not the ticket, and encores run long. An hourly booking keeps one car and one chauffeur with you for dinner, the show and the ride home, with a 3-hour minimum for sedans, SUVs and Sprinters and extra time in 30-minute blocks. A typical summer evening: pickup in Vaughan at 5.30, dinner on King West, doors, the show, home by midnight. Our concert and game-day limo page explains how we run these nights at every Toronto venue, and hourly versus point-to-point shows when one-way still makes sense.
What is the RBC Amphitheatre bag policy?
The amphitheatre screens every guest at the gate, and its published bag policy is strict. In general terms it allows only small clutches, belt bags or fanny packs, or clear plastic bags within a set size, and it does not allow backpacks of any kind, tote bags, large purses, duffel bags or luggage. The venue also lists allowed and prohibited items, such as lawn chairs, umbrellas, water bottles and cameras, and notes that some rules change by tour. Sizes and lists are on the venue's own Know Before You Go page; check it, and the pre-show email for your concert, before you leave home.
This is where a chauffeured car earns its keep. Anything that will not pass the gate stays locked in the vehicle: a work bag from the office, a carry-on from a Pearson arrival, a jacket for the cold walk out, shopping from the afternoon. With an hourly chauffeur the car and your belongings are a text message away when the encore ends. On a one-way drop-off nothing can stay in the car, so pack to the policy or use the venue's lockers.
Group vehicles for concert nights
supplied by vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network.
- Couples: a business sedan, Tesla Model Y or first-class sedan.
- Up to six friends: an SUV or premier luxury SUV.
- Up to twelve: a Sprinter luxury van, the easiest way to keep a big group together at the exit.
- Birthday, bachelorette or reunion groups: a stretch limousine (4-hour minimum) or a party bus (4–5 hour minimum),
Larger vehicles are staged further from the crowd because they need more curb, so expect a slightly longer walk to the meet point. See party bus rental for what the partner buses include.
Summer road closures on the waterfront
Lake Shore Boulevard West near Ontario Place and Exhibition Place carries some of the city's biggest summer events: the Toronto Caribbean Carnival Grand Parade, the CNE in late August, and festivals at Ontario Place and Exhibition Place themselves, as well as trade shows at the Enercare Centre and Exhibition Place across the road. When a concert overlaps with one of them, closures can block the obvious route entirely. Our dispatchers check toronto.ca event notices and Ontario 511 before every pickup and send you any change to the meet point in advance.
Corporate nights and client entertaining
Companies often book boxes or premium seats for summer shows. We move hosts and guests from offices on Bay Street, hotels and Pearson to the venue on one account, with an executive Sprinter for teams and separate one-way cars home for guests heading in different directions. VIP event transportation covers how we manage guest lists and timing.
Making a night of it: dinner, the waterfront and a hotel
Concert nights pair well with dinner in Liberty Village, King West or the Distillery District, and with a walk along the lake if the weather is kind. Bigger stadium tours now also play Rogers Stadium at Downsview, north of the 401. Out-of-town fans can arrange flights and a hotel through our travel desk, which works with BookingWorldwide.net, and add the car to the same trip. If you are in town for more than one show, see also our pages for BMO Field games across the road and Scotiabank Arena concerts downtown.
Suburban concert-goers: the 905 run
A big share of the lawn comes from Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville and Durham Region, and that is where a chauffeur pays for itself. From the west the car takes the QEW and Gardiner along the lake and is often at the venue faster than the downtown traffic suggests. From Vaughan and Richmond Hill the usual route is Highway 400 to the 401 and south on the 427, or Allen Road and the city streets when the 401 is jammed. From Markham, Pickering and Ajax it is the 401 and the Don Valley Parkway to the Gardiner, which is the slowest approach on a summer Friday. Booking a black car service in Toronto for the round trip also solves the late drive home: the chauffeur takes everyone back to their own doors, and several drop-offs on the way are simply added as stops when you book.
Weather, comfort and safety
The amphitheatre is open to the lake. Summer thunderstorms roll in quickly, evenings can turn cool by the water even in July, and lawn tickets mean sitting on grass. Chauffeurs keep water and umbrellas in the car, and the meet point is chosen so you are not walking far in a downpour. Late at night the chauffeur waits until everyone in the party is in the car before leaving.
Accessibility and children
For guests who can transfer we stow wheelchairs and walkers and arrange the closest practical drop-off and pickup; for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, our wheelchair-accessible vehicle is available when booked in advance. Child seats are available at booking for family-friendly shows.
