How to get to Rogers Stadium: the venue is at 81 YZD Lane on the former Downsview Airport lands, about 17 km (25–40 min) from downtown Toronto and about 17 km (20–35 min) from Pearson. TTC subway and GO trains run close by; a chauffeured car drops you at the venue's designated area and meets you after the show. Book your Rogers Stadium ride direct.

How to get to Rogers Stadium: what is the easiest way for a concert night?

There are two good answers, and which one is right depends on who is travelling. For a pair of fans living near Line 1, the subway is simple: the venue itself recommends the TTC and GO as the best way in and out, and transit runs extra service on show nights. For everyone else, a chauffeured car removes the three things that spoil a stadium night: finding the station from a suburb, standing on a crowded platform after midnight and walking home from the last stop.

TorontoBlackLimousine.com runs concert and game-day limo service to Downsview with our own sedans, SUVs and Sprinters. You book in the reservation engine at /book/, see the fixed fare before you confirm, and the chauffeur handles the drive, the drop-off and the post-show meet. Groups that want one car for the whole evening book the hourly chauffeur service instead of two separate transfers.

What and where is Rogers Stadium?

Rogers Stadium is a seasonal, open-air concert venue opened by Live Nation Canada in June 2025. It holds about 50,000 people, and Live Nation describes it as the GTA's largest purpose-built music venue. It is a temporary facility built on YZD, the former Downsview Airport lands in North York, with the venue address given as 81 YZD Lane, Toronto. Shows go ahead rain or shine.

The site is north of Highway 401 in North York, next to Downsview Park and within reach of the Allen Road and the 400. That puts it inside the city but well north of the downtown venues fans already know, such as the Scotiabank Arena or the lakeside amphitheatre at Ontario Place. Live Nation's opening announcement set out the plan for the site, and the official Rogers Stadium site carries the current show list. Our North York chauffeur page covers the wider neighbourhood, from Yorkdale to the 401 corridor.

What happened to the 2026 season at Rogers Stadium?

The 2026 season ended early. In September 2026 a severe storm damaged parts of the venue, and Live Nation cancelled the AC/DC concert scheduled for 16 September. The organiser said damaged sections are being removed and rebuilt so the stadium is ready to welcome fans again next season.

What that means for you: if you hold tickets for a future date, check the official Rogers Stadium site for the confirmed schedule before you book anything else, and follow the ticket seller's instructions on refunds or new dates. When the next season's shows are confirmed, our reservation engine takes bookings as soon as you have a date. If a show you booked a car for is cancelled, contact dispatch; our standard cancellation policy is measured from the scheduled pickup, so the earlier we hear, the better.

How far is Rogers Stadium from downtown Toronto and Pearson?

These are typical planning figures for the drive to the stadium area on a show day before the pre-show build-up. Post-show times are longer, because tens of thousands of people leave together.

Starting pointDistance to Rogers StadiumTypical drive time
Downtown Toronto (Union Station area)about 17 km25–40 min
Toronto Pearson (YYZ)about 17 km20–35 min
Vaughanabout 15 km20–30 min
Mississaugaabout 30 km30–45 min
Markhamabout 30 km30–45 min
Bramptonabout 30 km30–45 min
Hamiltonabout 80 km60–85 min

The reservation engine quotes the exact fixed fare for your address, date, time and vehicle. Fans coming down from the north should read our Vaughan car service page; the drive from there is one of the shortest on the list.

Which route does the chauffeur take to Downsview?

From downtown the usual choices are the Allen Road or Dufferin Street north to the 401 area, or Yonge Street and the 401 west. From Pearson the chauffeur takes the 401 east, or the 400 for fans starting further north, and the venue notes its easy access to the 400-series highways. On the way home the route depends on where the traffic control sends cars that night and on your final address.

Before every show the dispatcher checks Ontario 511 for closures and collisions on the 401 and 400, because a single incident on the express lanes can add a long delay. The chauffeur also watches for weekend construction on the Allen Road and Dufferin. You do not need to plan any of this; tell us the pickup address and the gate time on your ticket and we work backwards from there.

Car or TTC and GO: which is better for a stadium show?

Transit is genuinely good here, and we say so. The venue recommends the TTC and GO, and Downsview Park GO is one stop north of Union on the Barrie line. The TTC and GO Transit publish their event-day service.

FactorChauffeured carTTC subway / GO train
Door to doorYes, from home, hotel or PearsonWalk to a station, then 900 m to 1.8 km from the gates

Groups and familiesOne vehicle, one planEveryone moves together on busy trains
Luggage or flightsFine, including Pearson pickupsNot practical
Late-night trip homeTo your door, any GTA cityDepends on your last connection

The car wins for groups, suburban addresses away from the subway, fans flying in, anyone with mobility needs and parents collecting teenagers. Transit wins for a couple living on Line 1 with nothing to carry.

Which subway station is closest to each gate?

The venue's getting-home information pairs each gate with a station. Gate 1 is about 900 m from Downsview Park Station, Gate 2 is about 900 m from Sheppard West Station, and Gate 3 is about 1,800 m from Wilson Station. Downsview Park also connects to GO trains on the Barrie line.

Those walking distances matter even if you come by car: the drop-off area is not at the turnstile, and the post-show crowd spreads out along the same paths towards the stations. The visit page and the Know Before You Go page show the gates, the station routes and the maps. Check which gate your ticket uses before the night, because it changes which side of the site your chauffeur should aim for.

Where do limos and rideshares drop off and pick up?

Rogers Stadium publishes a designated pick-up and drop-off area for rideshares and other cars, with maps, on its getting-there pages. Your chauffeur uses that area, or whichever area venue and police traffic staff direct cars to on the night. We do not print a lot address here, because event-day traffic plans can change from one show to the next, and the venue's own page is the place to check.

Drop-off is straightforward: the chauffeur pulls into the designated area, you step out and walk to your gate. Leave yourself time for that walk and for the security line. Pickup is where planning pays off, which is why the next section matters.

How does the post-show pickup plan work?

When a stadium empties, phone networks slow down and everyone looks the same in the dark. Our chauffeurs plan the meet before you go in:

  1. At drop-off the chauffeur shows you where the car will be after the show: the designated pick-up area, or a pre-agreed spot a short walk outside the busiest zone.
  2. You agree a landmark and a time, and save the chauffeur's number.
  3. Near the encore, send a short text so the chauffeur can move into position as soon as traffic staff allow.
  4. Walk out with the flow, keep your group together and head for the landmark, not the gate.
  5. If you are delayed, text once; on an hourly booking the clock simply runs on in 30-minute blocks.

This is the part of the night that a one-way ride from an app struggles with, and the part an hourly booking solves best.

When should we leave for the show?

Work back from the time your gate opens, not from the headliner. Add the drive from the table above, then time for the walk from the drop-off area, security screening and finding your section. For a downtown pickup on a weekday evening, we usually suggest leaving earlier than first instinct says, because the 401 is busy at rush hour before the show traffic arrives.

If you plan dinner first, an hourly booking lets the chauffeur collect you, wait at the restaurant and continue to Downsview without a second booking. For Pearson arrivals on show day, allow for the flight landing late; we track the flight, but a long delay can squeeze the evening.

Why book an hourly chauffeur for a concert night?

A concert night has an unknown finish. Encores run long, the crowd takes time to clear and someone always wants a late snack on the way home. The hourly chauffeur service keeps one car and one chauffeur with you from pickup to the last drop-off, with a 3-hour minimum for sedans, SUVs and Sprinters and extra time in 30-minute blocks.

It also makes multi-stop evenings simple: collect friends in Etobicoke, Vaughan and Midtown, eat near Yorkdale, go to the show, then drop everyone home in reverse order. A private chauffeur for the night costs you no time hunting for a ride, and the car is exactly where the plan says it will be.

Which vehicle suits our group?

GroupSuggested vehicleWhy
1–2 fansBusiness sedan or first-class sedanQuick through the pickup area, quiet ride home

Sedans, the Tesla Model Y, SUVs and Sprinters are our own vehicles with our own chauffeurs. For the whole fleet, see the fleet page.

Can we book a party bus or stretch limo to Rogers Stadium?

Yes. Stretch limousines, party buses and coaches are available through our partner fleet: vetted operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, booked and supported through the same Toronto dispatch. Stretch limousines carry a 4-hour minimum and party buses 4 to 5 hours, so they suit a full evening rather than a single transfer. Our party bus rental page explains capacity and planning.

Large vehicles need more room in the designated pick-up area and may be directed differently by traffic staff, so a party bus booking needs the passenger count, the ticket gate and the meet plan in the notes. A coordinator confirms multi-vehicle and party bus bookings in writing.

Can we drink in the limo on the way to the concert?

No. Alcohol is not allowed in our vehicles, and that includes party buses and stretch limousines from our partner fleet. Passengers may not drink on board before or after the show. Sealed, unopened purchases may ride in the trunk.

It is a company rule with no exceptions for special nights, and the chauffeur will not start the trip while anyone is drinking on board. If your group wants a pre-show celebration, book dinner on the way and let the chauffeur wait outside; that is exactly what the hourly booking is for.

What is the bag policy at Rogers Stadium?

In short: small clutches and belt bags are fine, larger bags up to a set size must be clear, and backpacks are not allowed. Exact sizes and exceptions are on the venue's FAQ page, which is the source to check before you leave, because policies can change between seasons.

A car helps here: anything that will not pass the bag check, such as a work bag, shopping or a jacket you will not need, can stay with the vehicle on an hourly booking while you are inside. On a one-way drop-off the car leaves after you get out, so carry only what the venue allows.

Is the ride accessible for wheelchair users?

Yes, when it is booked in advance. TorontoBlackLimousine.com has a wheelchair-accessible vehicle; tell us at booking about the wheelchair or scooter so dispatch assigns it. Passengers who can transfer to a seat can travel in any of our cars, and the chauffeur folds and stows a wheelchair or walker.

For seating, accessible entrances and assistance inside the stadium, check the venue's own information on the official site before the day. Mention in the booking notes if a passenger needs a shorter walk at drop-off, and the chauffeur will use the most suitable point traffic staff allow.

Flying in for a show: how do Pearson pickups work?

Many fans fly into Toronto for a stadium date. Pearson is only about 17 km from Downsview, so a car can collect you at the airport, drop bags at your hotel and take you on to the show. Your chauffeur meets you at Pearson's designated pick-up area for pre-arranged taxis and limousines; meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is an optional add-on at booking. We track the flight, and the fare includes 30 minutes of waiting on Canadian and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals.

See our Toronto Pearson airport page for terminal details, and our travel desk for flights and hotels around concert dates.

What does the fare include, and what changes it?

We do not publish price lists. The reservation engine shows the fixed, all-in fare before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route, airport fees where they apply and gratuity, with HST shown separately. There is no surge pricing on show nights.

What changes the fare is the vehicle class, the distance from your address (see the table above), whether you book one-way or hourly, how long the evening runs and any extra stops. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, 10 % at 72 hours or less, 50 % at 48 hours or less and 100 % at 24 hours or less or for a no-show.

Which other Toronto concerts and games do you drive to?

The same planning applies across the city. Lakeside shows at the amphitheatre at Ontario Place are covered on our RBC Amphitheatre concerts page, baseball at the Rogers Centre on our Blue Jays game-day page, and arena nights on the Scotiabank Arena page. Browse every event we cover on the Toronto events hub.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How do I get to Rogers Stadium in Toronto?

Rogers Stadium is at 81 YZD Lane on the former Downsview Airport lands in North York. By transit, use Downsview Park, Sheppard West or Wilson subway stations, or the GO train to Downsview Park, one stop north of Union on the Barrie line. By chauffeured car it is about 17 km from downtown and about 17 km from Pearson, and the driver uses the venue's designated drop-off area.

Which subway station is closest to Rogers Stadium?

The venue pairs each gate with a station: Gate 1 is about 900 m from Downsview Park Station, Gate 2 about 900 m from Sheppard West Station and Gate 3 about 1,800 m from Wilson Station. Check the gate printed on your ticket and the venue's Know Before You Go page before the night.

Can a limo drop off at Rogers Stadium?

Yes. Chauffeured cars and rideshares use the designated pick-up and drop-off area that the venue publishes with maps on its getting-there pages, or whichever area traffic staff direct cars to on the night. Leave time for the walk from the drop-off area to your gate and for security screening.

Is Rogers Stadium open in 2026?

The 2026 season ended early. A severe storm in September 2026 damaged parts of the venue and Live Nation cancelled the AC/DC show scheduled for 16 September. Damaged sections are being removed and rebuilt so the stadium can welcome fans again next season. Check the official Rogers Stadium site for confirmed dates.

How long does it take to get from downtown Toronto to Rogers Stadium?

Allow about 25 to 40 minutes for the roughly 17 km drive from the Union Station area, using the Allen Road, Dufferin Street or Yonge Street and the 401. Weekday rush hour and pre-show traffic lengthen it, and leaving after a sold-out show takes longer than arriving, so plan the evening with a buffer.

What bags are allowed at Rogers Stadium?

In general, small clutches and belt bags are allowed, larger bags up to a set size must be clear, and backpacks are not allowed. The venue's FAQ page lists exact sizes and exceptions. On an hourly booking, items that will not pass the bag check can stay in the car while you are inside.

Can we drink alcohol in the limo to the concert?

No. Alcohol is not allowed in any of our vehicles, including party buses and stretch limousines from our partner fleet, before or after the show. Sealed, unopened purchases may ride in the trunk. If your group wants a celebration, book a dinner stop on an hourly booking and let the chauffeur wait.

How much is a limo to Rogers Stadium?

We do not publish price lists. The fare depends on your pickup address, the vehicle, one-way or hourly booking and how long the night runs. The reservation engine at /book/ shows the exact fixed fare, including chauffeur, fuel, tolls and gratuity, before you confirm, with HST shown separately and no surge on show nights.
