A Pearson airport limo is a pre-booked black car, SUV or Sprinter between your address and Toronto Pearson (YYZ) Terminal 1 or 3, at a fixed fare with flight tracking and included waiting. Arrivals are met at Pearson's pre-arranged pickup area; meet and greet inside is optional. Downtown is about 27 km, 25 to 45 minutes away. Book your Pearson limo now.
How does our Pearson airport limo service work?
A Pearson airport limo from TorontoBlackLimousine.com is booked in advance with your flight number, priced as a fixed all-in fare before you confirm, and driven by a chauffeur dispatched by our own desk. For departures the chauffeur collects you at home, the office or the hotel and drops you at the departures curb of your terminal. For arrivals we track the flight from take-off, time the car to the real landing and meet you at the airport's pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals level, or inside arrivals if you add meet and greet. The fare includes the chauffeur, the car, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. This page is about booking the ride. For the airport itself, including terminal layout and facilities, see our Toronto Pearson airport guide.
Terminal 1 or Terminal 3: which one is my flight?
Pearson has two passenger terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, and they are far enough apart that dropping at the wrong one costs real time. Airlines are assigned by terminal, and assignments change, so always check the terminal on your booking confirmation or the airline app on the day rather than relying on memory. Tell us the flight number when you book and our dispatcher checks the terminal too. If you do end up at the wrong one, the Terminal Link train connects Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, but it is quicker to get it right in the car. For connecting to the UP Express, note that the train serves Terminal 1 only. The airport's own transportation and parking page lists current terminal information, and our Pearson terminal pickup guide walks through both terminals.
Where will my Pearson limo meet me on arrival?
Toronto Pearson separates walk-up taxis and limos from pre-booked cars. The airport's own licensed taxis and limousines serve passengers without a booking from the ranks. Pre-arranged cars like ours meet passengers at a designated pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals-level curb. According to the airport's pre-arranged services page, you tell the pickup-area dispatcher that you are waiting for a pre-arranged ride, and your driver comes forward. In practice: once you have your bags, message the chauffeur, follow the terminal signs for pre-arranged pickup, check in with the dispatcher there, and the chauffeur brings the car up. We do not print door numbers here because they can change; the chauffeur confirms the exact spot by message on the day. If you would rather be met inside arrivals by a chauffeur holding a name board, add meet and greet when you book.

Flight tracking and waiting rules at Pearson
Every limo service to Pearson airport and from it is flight-tracked. We watch the flight from departure, so if it lands 40 minutes early or three hours late the chauffeur adjusts without you calling. Waiting is counted from actual landing, not the scheduled time. On Canadian domestic and US flights, 30 minutes of waiting is included. On all other international arrivals it is 60 minutes, because passport control at Pearson and the baggage hall can be slow when several wide-body flights land together. After the included time, waiting is charged in 15-minute blocks, and the chauffeur messages you before extra time begins. If you are held up at customs or a bag has gone missing, tell the chauffeur; a quick message saves stress on both sides. NEXUS members often clear faster, which the NEXUS program explains.
Step by step: your Pearson arrival with us
- Land, switch your phone on and check for a message from your chauffeur.
- Clear passport control and customs if arriving internationally, then collect your bags.
- Message the chauffeur that you have your bags and which terminal and door area you are at.
- Follow the signs to the pre-arranged pickup area and tell the dispatcher you are waiting for a pre-arranged ride.
- The chauffeur pulls up, loads the luggage and confirms your destination.
- Settle in; the chauffeur picks the best route downtown or to the suburbs based on live traffic.
With meet and greet, steps 3 to 5 change: the chauffeur waits inside arrivals with your name, helps with the trolley and walks you to the car.

Limo service to Pearson airport: how early should we pick you up?
Departures are where planning pays off. Start with your airline's check-in and bag-drop cut-off, add time for security, which CATSA and your airline advise on, then add the drive and a buffer. From downtown the drive is 25 to 45 minutes in normal traffic via the Gardiner Expressway and Highway 427, or the 401 and the 427, but at weekday rush between about 7 and 9:30 a.m. or 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. it can run past an hour. From Markham, Richmond Hill or Pickering the 401 is the pinch point, and the tolled 407 ETR is often the quicker option; the toll is inside our fixed fare when we use it. Tell us your flight time and we suggest a pickup time. Our blog on how early to arrive at Pearson covers peak days in more detail.
Which car should I book for Pearson?
Match the car to the luggage. One or two travellers with two large cases fit a business sedan, and the first-class sedan gives a senior executive or a special guest the S-Class tier. A family of four with suitcases, car seats or a stroller needs a business SUV, which seats six with four large bags; the executive SUV is the Navigator or Escalade version. Ski bags, golf bags or six adults going on holiday usually mean a Sprinter: the executive Sprinter seats seven and the twelve-seat Sprinter van moves a team or a wedding party. Child seats are available at booking. If in doubt, size up; there is nothing worse than a trunk that will not close at the Terminal 3 curb.
Pearson limo vs UP Express, taxi and rideshare
Here is the fair version. The UP Express runs between Union Station and Terminal 1 in about 28 minutes, stopping at Bloor, Mount Dennis and Weston. For a solo traveller with a carry-on who is already at Union and flying from Terminal 1, it is often the simplest choice. Pearson's licensed taxis and limousines at the ranks work well for walk-up arrivals who do not want to plan ahead. Rideshares use a separate pickup zone and their prices move with demand. A pre-booked Pearson limo is the better fit when you are going door to door, when you fly from Terminal 3, when you have a family, heavy bags or car seats, when you land late, or when you simply want a chauffeur waiting and a fare agreed in advance. Our UP Express vs limo guide compares them trip by trip.

Pearson international arrivals: customs, NEXUS and long waits
International arrivals are where a pre-booked car matters most. After a long-haul flight you face passport control, customs declarations and a busy baggage hall, and the time this takes varies from quick to slow. That is why international arrivals get 60 minutes of included waiting from actual landing instead of 30. Travellers returning to Canada should check CBSA guidance on declarations and duty-free allowances before landing, and NEXUS members may use faster processing. Visitors arriving for the first time sometimes find the size of the terminal overwhelming; that is exactly when meet and greet earns its place, with a chauffeur inside arrivals holding a name board. See Pearson international arrivals pickup plan and meet and greet at Pearson for more.
Early departures, red-eyes and late-night Pearson pickups
Pearson runs around the clock, and so does our dispatch. Early transatlantic and sun-destination departures mean pickups at 3 or 4 a.m. from downtown condos, Oakville houses and Markham subdivisions; we confirm the evening before and the chauffeur arrives early with the car warmed in winter. Late-night arrivals from the west coast, Europe or Asia are tracked in real time, so a two-hour delay just moves the car. Overnight is also when on-demand options thin out and prices elsewhere can climb, which is when a fixed fare agreed days in advance feels best. The drive is often quicker at night: the Gardiner and the 427 are clear, and downtown can be 25 minutes away. Winter is the exception; lake-effect snow and freezing rain slow everything, and our cars run winter tires from November to April.
Pearson airport limo for business travellers
Business travel through Pearson is about predictability. Executives often land from New York, Chicago or London and go straight into a day of meetings, which is when the car should become an hourly chauffeur rather than a single transfer: collect at the pre-arranged area, drive to the first meeting on Bay Street, wait, move to a lunch in Yorkville, then on to the hotel. The airport corporate centre around Pearson, the International Centre and Toronto Congress Centre are only minutes from the terminals, so many visitors never go downtown at all. Assistants booking for others get the confirmation and updates copied, and the chauffeur has the passenger's flight and phone. For accounts and repeat bookings see our corporate car service page and Pearson airport hotels.
Families and groups flying from Pearson
Family trips from Pearson involve more stuff than people expect: car seats, strollers, a hard-shell case each and a carry-on each. Booking a limo with the right vehicle takes that off your mind. Tell us the ages of the children when you book and infant, convertible or booster seats are fitted before the chauffeur arrives. A business SUV seats six with four large bags; bigger families or two households travelling together should take a Sprinter rather than splitting into two cars that arrive at different times. For groups of 12 to 55, such as sports teams, school trips or wedding guests, we coordinate Sprinters or partner coaches as one job. If you still need flights or a hotel for the night before an early departure, the travel desk arranges them alongside the ride.
Pearson to downtown, and downtown to Pearson
The busiest single run we drive is the one between Pearson and the downtown core, about 27 km in 25 to 45 minutes. Our chauffeurs choose between the Gardiner Expressway and the 427, the 401 and the 427, or Lake Shore Boulevard when the Gardiner is closed for maintenance, which happens on some weekends. Stadium nights at Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena, the Toronto Waterfront Marathon and summer festivals can close downtown streets, so we check before leaving. For the full route breakdown with times by hour, see downtown Toronto to Pearson. If you are staying at one of the Financial District hotels, the chauffeur meets you at the front drive rather than the curb on a busy street.
Beyond downtown: Pearson to Niagara, Muskoka and further
Pearson is the gateway for more than Toronto. Travellers going to Niagara Falls ride about 120 km and 80 to 105 minutes on the QEW; to Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries, a little less. Kitchener-Waterloo is about 90 km on the 401. Muskoka cottage country is about 200 km north on the 400 and Highway 11, two and a quarter to three hours depending on Friday traffic. Cross-border travellers heading to Buffalo can go straight from the arrivals curb to the Peace Bridge. Longer runs get rest stops, and your luggage stays with you door to door. See Pearson to Niagara Falls by car and Toronto to Muskoka.
