If you are booking a hotel near the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Front Street and Wellington Street hotels are a short walk away, and Pearson is about 27 km and 25 to 45 minutes by car. For Enercare Centre shows, Hotel X sits on Exhibition Place; for the International Centre and Congress Centre, the Pearson hotels are about 5 km away. Book your convention car; the fixed fare shows first.
Hotel near Metro Toronto Convention Centre: rooms, halls and the airport
Toronto has four main convention and exhibition centres, and they are in two very different places. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) is downtown beside Union Station, and the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place is on the waterfront a few kilometres west. The Toronto Congress Centre and the International Centre are out by Pearson, 25 to 30 km from downtown.
Choosing the right hotel for the right hall saves more time than anything else in a convention week. TorontoBlackLimousine.com runs the cars in between: airport arrivals and departures, delegate shuttles, exhibitor runs and executives' hourly bookings, all through our reservation engine with the fixed fare shown before you confirm.
Which hotels suit which convention centre?
We name only hotels we checked on their own official websites on 30 September 2026, as addresses we drive to; we have no partnership with any hotel.
| Convention centre | Hotels close by | Pearson (YYZ) |
|---|---|---|
| MTCC (Front Street West, beside Union Station) | Fairmont Royal York (100 Front St W), The Ritz-Carlton (181 Wellington St W), Shangri-La (188 University Ave) | about 27 km, 25–45 min |
| Enercare Centre and Automotive Building, formerly Beanfield Centre (Exhibition Place) | Hotel X Toronto (111 Princes' Blvd) | about 25 km, 20–35 min |
| Toronto Congress Centre (Dixon Road, Etobicoke) | Pearson airport-strip hotels; Alt Hotel Toronto Airport | about 5 km, 10–15 min |
| International Centre (Airport Road, Mississauga) | Alt Hotel Toronto Airport (Viscount Road), Monte Carlo Inn Airport Suites | about 5 km, 10–15 min |
Many other convention hotels belong to chains whose sites block automated checks; we leave them unnamed rather than guess. The booking works the same for any hotel address.
Distances and drive times between the halls
Planning figures for a weekday outside the rush. The reservation engine quotes the exact fixed fare for your route, date, time and vehicle.

| MTCC to Toronto Congress Centre | about 25 km | 25–40 min |
| MTCC to the International Centre | about 30 km | 30–45 min |
| Toronto Congress Centre to the International Centre | about 8 km | 10–20 min |
| Yorkville hotels to MTCC | about 5 km | 10–20 min |
| Mississauga City Centre hotels to the International Centre | about 15 km | 15–25 min |
MTCC: Financial District and South Core hotels
The MTCC sits on Front Street West next to Union Station and the CN Tower, and its buildings connect to the underground PATH network. For most delegates, the easiest plan is a hotel within walking distance: the Fairmont Royal York is across Front Street from Union Station, The Ritz-Carlton is on Wellington Street West, and the Shangri-La is a few minutes north on University Avenue. The MTCC's official site lists upcoming events.
With a walkable hotel, your car bookings are usually the airport runs and the evenings: a client dinner in Yorkville, a reception across town, or a game at Rogers Centre next door. Our Financial District hotels page and luxury hotels page cover these hotels in more detail.
Hotels near Enercare Centre and the Automotive Building (formerly Beanfield Centre)
Exhibition Place, on the waterfront west of downtown, holds the Enercare Centre, the Automotive Building (formerly Beanfield Centre) and BMO Field. It hosts large consumer and trade shows, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and the CNE. Hotel X Toronto is on Princes' Boulevard, inside the grounds, and is the closest hotel for delegates; its official site is hotelxtoronto.com.
Downtown hotels are about 4 km and 10 to 20 minutes away by car, but traffic around Exhibition Place changes sharply when a large show, a match at BMO Field or the CNE is on. For exhibitors, the key issue is timing move-in and move-out around other events; the Enercare Centre site posts show dates. Our Automotive Building (formerly Beanfield Centre) page covers that venue.
Hotels near the International Centre Mississauga
The International Centre is on Airport Road in Mississauga, on the east side of Pearson, and it hosts some of the region's largest trade and consumer shows. "Hotels near International Centre Mississauga" usually means the airport-area hotels: Alt Hotel Toronto Airport on Viscount Road is linked to the terminals by Pearson's LINK train, and Monte Carlo Inn Airport Suites describes itself as near the airport.
From these hotels, the International Centre is about 5 km and 10 to 15 minutes by car, a short hop that becomes slow when show traffic backs up at the entrances. For multi-day shows, a Sprinter run each morning and evening is simpler than a line of taxis. Our Mississauga hotels page covers the city's other hotel areas, and our Pearson airport hotels page covers the airport strip.
Toronto Congress Centre and the Dixon Road hotels
The Toronto Congress Centre is on Dixon Road in Etobicoke, just east of Pearson, surrounded by the airport hotel strip along Dixon Road and in the Airport Corporate Centre. Delegates flying in for a Congress Centre show can land, check in and be at the hall within the hour. The Toronto Congress Centre site lists its events.
Downtown Toronto is about 25 km and 25 to 40 minutes away, so many delegates stay by the airport for the show and move downtown for a night or two afterwards. A car booking can cover that move: the chauffeur collects you and your bags at the airport hotel and drops you at a downtown hotel. For the airport strip itself, see our Airport Corporate Centre and Etobicoke hotels page.
Exhibitor move-in and move-out
Exhibitors have different needs from delegates. They arrive early, often before the halls open to the public, with display cases, samples and laptops, and leave late after tear-down. A sedan is usually too small. An executive Sprinter carries seven people with cases, and the Sprinter luxury van carries up to 12.
Tell us the loading dock or entrance your team uses in the booking notes, and the time you need to be there. We describe specific doors and loading bays only where we have verified them, so the show's exhibitor manual is the source for those details. For large freight, use the show's official freight contractor; our cars are for people and the bags they carry.
Delegate shuttles between hotels and halls
For a company bringing dozens of delegates, the most efficient plan is usually a shuttle loop: one or more Sprinters, or a coach from a partner operator, running between a few hotels and the convention centre at set times each morning and evening. Delegates know when the next vehicle leaves, and no one waits for a taxi in the rain.
Our trade show transportation page explains how we plan these, and our conventions and trade shows page covers the main shows. Coaches and multi-vehicle programmes are priced in writing by a coordinator, with a single invoice for the company. Stretch limousines, party buses and coaches come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network.
Hourly chauffeurs for executives during a show
Senior people at a convention rarely stay at the booth all day. They have client breakfasts, meetings at head offices, press interviews and dinners, often across the city. For them, the hourly chauffeur service is the right tool: one car and one chauffeur for a 3-hour minimum or the full day, with extra time in 30-minute blocks.
The car waits outside the MTCC or the International Centre, takes the executive to a Bay Street meeting, back to the hall, and on to dinner in Yorkville, without a single rebooking. A first-class sedan or a premier luxury SUV is the usual choice. Our corporate car service page covers company accounts.
What the fare includes
We do not publish price lists. The reservation engine shows the fixed, all-in fare before you confirm: the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if the route uses them, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. No meter, and no surge during a show week, when ride apps are often at their most expensive.
What changes the fare: the vehicle class, distance and time, extra stops, waiting beyond the included allowance, and the date and season. Included waiting is 15 minutes on hotel and venue pickups, 30 minutes from landing on Canadian domestic and US flights, and 60 minutes on other international arrivals, then 15-minute blocks. See how our fares work for details.
Pearson arrivals for delegates
Delegates flying into Pearson are met curbside at the designated area for pre-arranged cars at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3; Toronto Pearson explains the process on its pre-arranged pickup page. Meet & greet inside arrivals with a name board is an optional add-on at booking, and many companies add it for speakers and VIP guests.
For a group arriving on several flights, send us the manifest and we schedule each pickup to its tracked flight, or group arrivals within a window into one Sprinter. For solo delegates heading to a downtown hotel with a carry-on, the UP Express from Terminal 1 to Union Station is often the simplest choice, and we say so. A car wins for Terminal 3, heavy luggage, late nights and groups.
Evening events: receptions, dinners and game nights
Convention weeks are full of evening events: receptions in hotel ballrooms, dinners at The Carlu or the Arcadian Court, parties in King West, and Blue Jays or Leafs games that clients love. Our pages on The Carlu and Arcadian Court and downtown event spaces cover drop-off at those venues.
For a hosted evening, a Sprinter luxury van can carry a table of 12 from the hotel to dinner and back. For an executive moving between two or three events, keep the sedan by the hour. If a game or concert is on the same night, plan around the crowds near Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena, which can slow Front Street for an hour before and after.
Show-week traffic: Gardiner, Lake Shore and overlapping events
The routes between downtown hotels, Exhibition Place and the airport halls are the Gardiner Expressway, Lake Shore Boulevard and Highway 427. Planned Gardiner closures, lane restrictions for construction, and weekend road closures for marathons and festivals all affect conventions. Our dispatchers watch Ontario 511 and city notices, and adjust pickup times.
The biggest conflicts come when two large events overlap, for example a trade show at the Enercare Centre during a BMO Field match, or an MTCC conference on a Blue Jays home game day. On those days we add buffer to pickups and suggest meeting points away from the busiest entrances.
Booking a delegation on one account
For company events, set up the bookings under one account so your team, your events agency and our dispatch desk all work from the same list. Send the delegate names, flights, hotels and any VIPs, and we build the plan: airport pickups, shuttle loops, executive cars and departures, with a coordinator confirming group vehicles in writing.
Book directly on TorontoBlackLimousine.com, not through a marketplace. You get one dispatch desk, fixed fares shown before you confirm, and no aggregator commission. For delegates connecting to other cities, the same account can book chauffeured cars in more than 70 countries and 500 cities through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network; see our worldwide chauffeur network page.
Rooms, flights and the travel desk
If you still need rooms or flights for the delegation, our travel desk works with BookingWorldwide.net for flights, hotels and packages. Keeping rooms, flights and cars on one itinerary is the easiest way to avoid a delegate landing at midnight with no room and no car.
Changes, cancellations and delays
Convention schedules change constantly. Update the booking or message dispatch with new flights, names or times and we adjust; flights are tracked automatically. Our cancellation policy is measured from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 %; 48 hours or less, 50 %; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 %. Group and multi-vehicle programmes are confirmed in writing by a coordinator.
