A car service from Toronto to a Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel covers about 125 km and takes a typical 85–105 minutes via the Gardiner and the QEW; from Pearson (YYZ) it is about 120 km, 80–100 minutes. TorontoBlackLimousine.com drives you to the inn's front door, shows the fixed all-in fare before you confirm and can stay by the hour for wineries. Book your Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel car.
Niagara-on-the-Lake hotels from Toronto: car service basics
Niagara-on-the-Lake is a small town with a disproportionate number of good places to stay: Victorian and Georgian inns in the Old Town, country hotels among the vineyards and bed-and-breakfasts on the side streets. There is no train station in town and no airport, so almost every guest arrives by road. Our car service to a Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel starts at your Toronto address or at the Pearson arrivals curb and ends at the inn's front door, with the luggage carried in. The fare is fixed and all-in, the flight is tracked, and the same chauffeur can be kept for an afternoon on the wine route or a Shaw Festival evening. For the town itself see our Niagara-on-the-Lake car service page.
Which Niagara-on-the-Lake inns and hotels do guests book?
We drive to any address in town. The properties below were checked on 30 September 2026 on the hotel group's own site or a current booking listing; we have no partnership with any of them.

The first three belong to the Vintage Hotels group, which also runs inns elsewhere in Niagara and Ontario. Hotels change hands and names, so if yours is not listed, type the address into the reservation engine and the fare is calculated the same way.
How long is the drive from Toronto to Niagara-on-the-Lake?
From Union Station the car follows the Gardiner Expressway west onto the QEW, crosses the Burlington Skyway, runs past Grimsby and St. Catharines and leaves at the Glendale Avenue or Highway 55 exit into town. That is about 125 km; a clear weekday takes 85 minutes, a Friday afternoon in July can take two hours or more. From Pearson the car takes Highway 427 south to the QEW, or the 403 and 407 ETR west when the lakeshore stretch is jammed, about 120 km. Your chauffeur checks Ontario 511 and the 407 ETR before choosing.

What does the fare to a Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel include?
The reservation engine shows the fixed, all-in fare before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if used, airport fees on Pearson pickups and gratuity, with HST shown separately. There is no meter on the QEW. What moves the fare is the vehicle class, the distance and time, extra stops (a winery tasting on the way, say), waiting, and the date. Enter the inn's name on the booking page and the figure appears instantly; how our fares work explains the details.
Keep the chauffeur for the wine route
The best reason to book a car to a Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel is that you can then drink the wine. Our hourly chauffeur has a 3-hour minimum in sedans, SUVs and Sprinters, with extra time in 30-minute blocks, and many guests book a full day: the drive from Toronto in the morning, three or four tastings along the Niagara Parkway, Four Mile Creek Road and the St. Davids bench, lunch, then check-in at the inn. The Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake association lists the member wineries and their hours; our Niagara wine country page covers routes.
- Book the hourly service from your Toronto address or Pearson.
- Tell us the wineries you want, or let the chauffeur suggest an order that avoids backtracking.
- Reserve tastings where the winery asks for it, especially on weekends.
- End the day at your hotel; the chauffeur carries the cases of wine to the lobby.
Theatre weekends and the Shaw Festival
The Shaw Festival runs a long season of plays in the town's theatres, and many guests book a hotel precisely for a two-show weekend. A car from Toronto on the Saturday morning, a matinee and an evening performance, and a car back on Sunday is a common pattern. Because the Old Town is walkable, most guests do not need a car between shows, but a short hourly booking is useful for dinner at a winery restaurant outside town. Check the festival's own site for the season and performance times.
Weddings at Niagara-on-the-Lake hotels and wineries
Wedding venues in Niagara-on-the-Lake range from the historic inns to winery estates and garden terraces, and they share a transport challenge: guests stay in several hotels, the ceremony and reception may be on different properties, and nobody should drive after the toasts. We handle the Toronto end (guests and the wedding party from the city or from Pearson), the couple's car on the day, and shuttles between hotels and the venue. A 12-seat Sprinter luxury van or a coach moves guests; stretch limousines, party buses and coaches come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and multi-vehicle weddings are priced in writing by a coordinator. Read how to book a wedding limo before you speak to the venue.
Corporate retreats and board dinners in wine country
Companies bring leadership teams to Niagara-on-the-Lake for two-day retreats: a hotel with meeting rooms, a winery dinner, a morning of strategy sessions. The executives usually come from Bay Street or land at Pearson from other cities. An executive Sprinter or the first-class executive Sprinter moves the team together from Toronto, and the same vehicle is kept by the hour for the dinner and the return. See corporate events and galas for multi-vehicle planning.
Where the car stops at an Old Town inn
The Old Town streets are narrow, parking is tight in summer, and Queen Street fills with pedestrians and horse-drawn carriages on weekends. The chauffeur stops at the hotel's own driveway or front entrance where there is one, and otherwise at the nearest legal stopping point, then carries the bags in. Fifteen minutes of waiting is included at hotel pickups, then 15-minute blocks. For check-out day, book the pickup a little after the hotel's check-out time so the lobby is quieter.
Arriving at Pearson and driving straight to Niagara-on-the-Lake
International visitors often land at Pearson and head directly to wine country. The chauffeur tracks the flight; included waiting is 30 minutes on Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals from actual landing. Pickup is at the terminal's pre-arranged pickup area; meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is an optional add-on, available at booking. After a long flight, a car with water in the back and a quiet 90-minute drive beats a bus and a transfer at St. Catharines.
Which vehicle for a Niagara-on-the-Lake trip?
- Business sedan: a couple with two suitcases, the usual choice.
- First-class sedan: an S-Class or equivalent for an anniversary or a VIP guest.
- SUV or premier luxury SUV: up to six guests, plus room for luggage on the way home; sealed, unopened purchases are welcome in the trunk.
- Sprinter luxury van: twelve seats for a wedding party or a winery tour group.
- Stretch limousine: 8 to 18 seats, arranged through our partner network for weddings and milestone birthdays.
Child seats are available at booking for families visiting the town.
Harvest season, festivals and busy weekends
Late summer and autumn are the busiest months in wine country. The grape harvest usually runs from late August into October, and the Niagara Wine Festival organises events across the region; check its site for this year's dates. Weekends in this season fill the inns and the QEW. We advise booking the car when you book the room, leaving Toronto before noon on a Friday, and allowing extra time for the return on a Sunday afternoon, when traffic backs up at the Burlington Skyway.
Combining Niagara-on-the-Lake with Niagara Falls or Buffalo
Guests often split a stay between an inn in Niagara-on-the-Lake and a night near the Falls, or finish the trip with a flight from Buffalo. The chauffeur can drive the Niagara Parkway between the two towns, about 22 km, and carry on across the border. For Buffalo every passenger needs a valid passport or another accepted document; see CBSA and US CBP. Our Toronto to Niagara-on-the-Lake route and Niagara Falls hotels pages cover both towns.
Older travellers, mobility aids and heavy luggage
Many guests at the Old Town inns are celebrating an anniversary with parents or grandparents, and a door-to-door car matters more to them than to anyone. Our chauffeurs help passengers in and out, carry every bag to the reception desk and fold and stow a wheelchair or walker for passengers who can transfer to a seat. We have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance. An SUV gives an easier step-in height than a low sedan, and the dispatcher can plan a comfort stop along the QEW on request.
Book the inn, the flight and the car together
If you are still choosing a room, our travel desk books flights, hotels and packages through BookingWorldwide.net and adds the chauffeur to the same itinerary. That keeps a wine-country weekend in one file: flight into Pearson, the car to the inn, a winery day and the return.
Cancellation and changes
More than 72 hours before pickup, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 %; 48 hours or less, 50 %; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 %, measured from the scheduled pickup. Wine-country plans change with the weather; change the time or vehicle through your confirmation.
