Everything clients ask dispatch
How much does a limo service in Toronto cost?
Every fare is fixed and all-in - chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls when used, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown - and depends on the vehicle class, the distance and time, waiting, extra stops and the date. Hourly bookings start at a 3-hour minimum (4 hours for a stretch limousine). Downtown to Pearson is about 27 km and 25-45 minutes. Enter your trip in the reservation engine at /book/ to see the exact fare in under a minute, before you confirm.
Can I book a private chauffeur by the hour in Toronto?
Yes - it is our most-booked service. Choose hourly on the reservation engine, set the start time and address, and the car and chauffeur stay with you for the whole booking: meetings, a roadshow, errands, restaurant stops, Niagara or a night out. The minimum is 3 hours for sedans, SUVs, vans and Sprinters.
How long does it take from downtown Toronto to Pearson Airport?
About 27 km and 25-45 minutes from the Financial District via the Gardiner Expressway and Highway 427, or the 401 and the 427, and longer in weekday rush hours or snow. For a departure we work back from your flight so you reach Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 with the time your airline recommends.
Do you pick up at Billy Bishop and Union Station?
Yes. Billy Bishop pickups are at the mainland pavilion on Eireann Quay after the pedestrian tunnel or the short ferry - about 3 km and 10-20 minutes from the Financial District. Union Station pickups are timed to the VIA, GO or UP Express train and met at the exit you choose.
Do you drive to and from the USA?
Yes - to and from Buffalo Niagara International, Niagara Falls NY and western New York, and longer runs to Detroit, Cleveland and New York City, including Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions game days. Every passenger needs valid documents for the United States and for re-entry to Canada; we explain the crossing before you travel.
Why book direct instead of through an app?
Booking on TorontoBlackLimousine.com means the fare is fixed before you travel, there is no aggregator commission, and you deal with the dispatcher who actually sends the car - so changes, extra stops and flight delays are handled by one desk.
What is the cancellation policy?
More than 72 hours before pickup: no charge. 72 hours or less: 10 %. 48 hours or less: 50 %. 24 hours or less, or a no-show: 100 %. Measured from the scheduled pickup on your confirmation.
Do you do weddings, proms and party buses?
Yes. Stretch limousines, Rolls-Royce and Maybach, party buses and coaches come from vetted partner fleets in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network and are planned by a coordinator, who confirms vehicles, timings and the fare in writing.
How do I book?
On the reservation engine on any page, the floating Book now button, or at /book/: enter the pickup and drop-off (or choose hourly), the date and your flight or train, choose the vehicle, see the fixed fare and confirm. You can also call, WhatsApp or email dispatch at any hour.
How far ahead should I book?
Airport and hourly rides can usually be booked the same day, but 24 hours ahead guarantees the vehicle class. For TIFF, the Caribbean Carnival, big concerts, convocation week and the holidays, book several days ahead; weddings, proms and party buses weeks or months ahead.
Is the UP Express cheaper than a car to Pearson?
For one traveller with light luggage going from Union Station to Pearson Terminal 1, usually yes - check the current fare and timetable on upexpress.com. A car wins for door-to-door pickups away from Union, for families and groups who would buy several tickets, for Terminal 3, and for heavy luggage or late-night flights.
How many bags fit?
A business or first-class sedan takes three passengers and three large cases; an executive SUV or luxury minivan six and six; a Sprinter fourteen and fourteen. Golf clubs, strollers, hockey bags and wheelchairs: tell us when you book.
Does the chauffeur wait during an hourly booking?
Yes. On an hourly booking the car and chauffeur are yours for the whole booked time - the chauffeur waits outside the meeting, the clinic or the restaurant and drives on when you are ready. Extra hours can be added on the day if the next booking allows.
Can you take me across the border?
Yes. We drive to Buffalo, Niagara Falls NY, western New York, Detroit and beyond, and pick up visitors coming the other way. Every passenger needs valid documents for the United States and for entry to Canada; NEXUS members can use the dedicated lanes where open.
Is gratuity included?
Yes, the fixed fare includes the chauffeur's gratuity. Extra tips for exceptional service are welcome but never expected.
Do you provide child car seats?
Yes. Infant, convertible and booster seats are available at booking - add them with the children's ages, and they are fitted before the pickup.
Are your vehicles licensed and insured?
Yes. Every vehicle carries commercial passenger insurance and every chauffeur holds the licensing required for passengers for hire where they operate. Our standard is published on the chauffeurs page.
