TorontoBlackLimousine.com is a Toronto car service that sends a pre-booked, chauffeured sedan or SUV to any address in the city and the GTA, from downtown condos to Scarborough, Etobicoke, North York and Mississauga. Rides are one-way, round trip or hourly, with a fixed fare that includes tolls and gratuity. Enter your address to see the fare and book before you confirm.
Toronto car service: what we mean by it
A Toronto car service is a pre-arranged ride with a professional chauffeur, booked for a set time and a set fare. It is the everyday end of what we do: a lift to a morning meeting in North York, a ride to a restaurant in Leslieville, a trip to Union Station for a VIA train, a collection from a clinic in Etobicoke. Where our limo service in Toronto page covers occasions and the full vehicle menu, this page is about ordinary trips around the city and how to get a car service near you.
People search for this in many ways: "car service Toronto", "Toronto car service", "car service near me", "car service to the airport" or just "a car and driver for tomorrow morning". The answer is the same: book ahead, get a fixed fare, and a chauffeur is at your door on time.
How do I find a car service near me in Toronto?
If you are in Toronto or the GTA, the car service near you is the one that covers your postal code and can be booked for the time you need. With TorontoBlackLimousine.com you do not need to search by neighbourhood: enter your pickup address in the reservation engine and it shows the vehicles available and the fixed fare for your trip.
A few tips for getting a car quickly:
- Book as early as you can. Even a few hours' notice helps dispatch plan a car near you.
- Give the exact entrance. Large condos and office towers have several doors; say which one.
- Add your phone number so the chauffeur can text on arrival.
- For airports, add the flight number so the chauffeur tracks it.
We are a pre-booked service, not an on-demand app. If you need a car within the next few minutes, a street taxi or ride app may be quicker; for anything planned, a booked car is more reliable.
Which Toronto neighbourhoods and GTA cities do you cover?
All of them. These planning figures are from downtown Toronto (Union Station area) and from Toronto Pearson (YYZ):

|---|---|---|
| Downtown core and waterfront | up to 10 km, 10-25 min | about 27 km, 25-45 min |

| North York | 15 km, 20-35 min | about 20 km, 20-35 min |
| Etobicoke | 18 km, 20-35 min | about 10 km, 10-20 min |
| Scarborough | 25 km, 25-40 min | about 35 km, 30-45 min |
| Mississauga | 30 km, 30-45 min | about 15 km, 15-25 min |
| Richmond Hill | 30 km, 30-45 min | about 30 km, 25-40 min |
| Vaughan | 35 km, 30-45 min | about 25 km, 20-30 min |
| Markham | 35 km, 30-45 min | about 40 km, 30-45 min |

What everyday trips do people book a Toronto car service for?
The most common local trips we run:
- Airport runs to Pearson and Billy Bishop, and home again after a trip.
- Station runs to Union Station for VIA Rail, GO Transit and the UP Express.
- Medical appointments at the University Avenue hospitals, Sunnybrook and clinics across the GTA.
- Business meetings across the core, with a return pickup booked in advance.
- Dinners and nights out, so nobody has to drive or find parking.
- Shopping trips to Yorkdale, the Eaton Centre or the outlets.
- School and campus runs for students arriving with luggage.
- Errands for older relatives who no longer drive.
When a trip has several stops or a lot of waiting, an hourly chauffeur usually costs less than separate rides and keeps the same car with you all day.

How is a car service different from a taxi in Toronto?
Taxis in Toronto are licensed by the City and can be hailed on the street or called for a ride soon. A car service, sometimes called a limousine or livery service, is pre-arranged, with a fare agreed in advance. The City of Toronto explains how it licenses different vehicles for hire on its vehicle-for-hire licensing page.
In practice the differences you notice are:
- Fare: fixed before you book with us, rather than metered.
- Timing: the car is scheduled for you, not whichever taxi is nearest.
- Vehicle: a black sedan or SUV, with child seats and meet and greet available at booking.
- Waiting: included time after flight landings and at pickups, then 15-minute blocks.
For a short hop right now, a taxi is fine. For an early flight, a school run or a trip that must not go wrong, a booked car service is the safer plan.
Should I take the TTC, GO, UP Express or a car service?
Toronto has good public transport, and we would rather you choose the right option than the most expensive one. The TTC is ideal inside the city for light travellers. GO Transit connects the GTA suburbs to Union Station. The UP Express runs between Union Station and Pearson Terminal 1 in about 28 minutes, with stops at Bloor, Mount Dennis and Weston, and is often the simplest choice for one person with a carry-on.
A car service is the better choice when:
- you are travelling door to door from somewhere far from a station;
- you have children, older relatives or heavy luggage;
- you are flying from Terminal 3, or at an hour when trains are not running;
- a group of three or four shares the fare;
- the weather is bad, or you simply need to arrive calm.

What does a Toronto car service fare include?
The reservation engine shows one fixed, all-in fare before you confirm, with HST on its own line. It covers the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity. What changes it: the vehicle class, the distance and drive time, the time of day and date, extra stops, and extra waiting beyond what is included.
We do not publish price lists, because the engine prices your exact addresses, time and vehicle more accurately than any table could. Our how our fares work page explains every item, and the trip planner gives distances and drive times for planning.
How far in advance should I book a car service in Toronto?
Book as soon as you know the trip. As a guide:
- Weekday local rides: a few hours to a day ahead is usually fine.
- Early-morning airport runs: the evening before at the latest; 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. slots fill first.
- Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings: book ahead, because Pearson runs peak.
- Event nights, TIFF week in September, December parties and New Year's Eve: days or weeks ahead.
- SUVs and Sprinters: earlier than sedans, as there are fewer of them.
Cancellation is measured from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 %; 48 hours or less, 50 %; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 %.
Car service to Pearson and Billy Bishop from anywhere in Toronto
Most people booking a Toronto car service are going to or from an airport. Toronto Pearson (YYZ) is about 27 km and 25 to 45 minutes from downtown, closer from Etobicoke, Mississauga and Brampton, and further from Scarborough and Pickering. On arrival, the chauffeur meets you at the pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals curb, as described on Pearson's own site; meet and greet inside arrivals is optional at booking.
Billy Bishop (YTZ) is 3 to 5 km and 10 to 20 minutes from Union Station; cars pick up at the mainland pavilion on Eireann Quay, beside the pedestrian tunnel. For more detail see our Toronto Pearson airport page and Billy Bishop airport page.
Car service to Union Station and other train stations
Union Station is the hub for VIA Rail, GO Transit and the UP Express, and it is surrounded by one-way streets, construction and event traffic. Chauffeurs drop at the most practical entrance for your train; for pickups, trains are tracked and the chauffeur waits at an agreed point nearby. The Front Street side is busiest when the Scotiabank Arena or Rogers Centre is emptying.
We also serve suburban GO and VIA stations such as Oakville and Guildwood. Our Union Station parking vs pickup article explains the options if someone is collecting you by car.
Car service in winter and bad weather
Toronto winters bring snow, freezing rain and lake-effect squalls, and they turn a 30-minute drive into an hour. Our cars run winter tires from November to April, and chauffeurs check road conditions on Ontario 511 before every long run. On storm days we contact customers with early flights to move pickups forward.
If you are booking a car service for an important winter trip, choose an SUV for extra clearance, add extra time to the pickup and give the chauffeur a phone number that works on the day. We would rather you arrive early than make a flight with minutes to spare.

Can I book a car service for someone else?
Yes. Parents book cars for students arriving at university, adult children book rides for their parents, and assistants book cars for executives and guests. Enter the passenger's name and phone number in the booking, and your own details as the booker. The chauffeur contacts the passenger directly on the day and the confirmation goes to both of you.
This is especially useful for family arrivals, medical appointments and visiting clients. For regular bookings on behalf of a company, see our corporate car service page.
Is your Toronto car service safe and reliable?
Reliability comes from planning. Each booking goes to our own dispatch, which assigns a chauffeur and vehicle in advance, tracks flights and trains, and watches traffic on the day. Chauffeurs arrive early, text on arrival and wait the included time. You have the chauffeur's details before pickup, and one dispatch desk to contact if anything changes.
Safety comes from professional chauffeurs, well-maintained late-model cars, winter tires in season and child seats fitted before pickup when booked. We do not share rides between customers, and the car goes only where you ask it to go.
Car service for dinners, shows and nights out in Toronto
Parking near King West restaurants, the theatre district or Yorkville on a Saturday night is expensive and slow, and nobody should drive home after a celebration. A one-way car service to dinner with a booked return pickup works well for a simple evening. If the night moves from dinner to a show to a bar, an hourly booking keeps the car waiting nearby.
Give the restaurant address and the time you expect to leave; the chauffeur texts when outside. Our date night and proposals page has ideas for evenings built around the car.
Car service for students and university move-in days
Every September, students arrive at Pearson and Union Station with more luggage than a taxi can take. A pre-booked SUV collects them, loads the bags and drops them at the residence door, whether that is the University of Toronto's St. George campus downtown, York University in North York (about 25 km from downtown, 30 to 45 minutes) or Toronto Metropolitan University near Yonge and Dundas. Parents abroad can book and pay for the ride and receive the confirmation themselves.
The same works at the end of term, and for convocation days, when campus roads are busy and parking is scarce.
How do I book a Toronto car service directly?
Booking directly takes a few minutes on our own reservation engine, on every page and at /book/:
- Enter your pickup address anywhere in Toronto or the GTA.
- Add the destination, date and time (and flight or train number if relevant).
- Choose one-way, round trip or hourly, and the vehicle.
- Add notes, child seats or meet and greet.
- Review the fixed all-in fare, with HST separate, and confirm.
There is no app to install and no marketplace fee. If your trip also involves flights or hotels, our travel desk can help, and for trips further afield our city-to-city car service takes you across Ontario and beyond. See all our Toronto chauffeur services.
