The TorontoBlackLimousine.com fleet has eleven classes on our reservation engine: business sedan, Tesla Model Y, first-class sedan (S-Class), SUV (Yukon XL / Suburban), premier luxury SUV (Navigator / Escalade), Executive Sprinter, First-class Executive Sprinter, 12-seat Sprinter van, stretch limousine, party bus and 55-seat coach. Rolls-Royce and exotic cars are arranged on request. Every class books by the hour or one way at a fixed fare.
What is in the Toronto limo fleet?
The Toronto limo fleet is built around one idea: the right car for the number of people, the amount of luggage and the length of time the car stays with you. Seven of the eleven classes are our own, dispatched from Toronto and driven by our chauffeurs; the other four are specialist vehicles supplied by vetted partners. Every class appears on the same Toronto reservation engine, where you pick the vehicle, choose hourly or one way and see the fixed all-in fare before you confirm.
The table below is the practical summary. Passenger numbers are adults with seat belts; bags are full-size checked suitcases, not carry-ons. Hourly minimums apply when you keep the car and chauffeur; one-way trips have no minimum.

Which vehicles are ours and which come from partners?
Sedans, the Tesla, the S-Class, both SUV classes and the executive Sprinters are the everyday Toronto black car work: Pearson and Billy Bishop runs, a day of meetings with an hourly chauffeur in Toronto, a family arriving from overseas, a roadshow. Our dispatch desk assigns them and our chauffeurs drive them.
Stretch limousines, party buses, coaches and Rolls-Royce or exotic cars are vehicles no single Toronto operator can keep busy every day of the year. They come from vetted operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and we say so on the booking and on the confirmation, because you should know who owns the vehicle you ride in. Your booking, your fixed fare and your dispatch desk stay with TorontoBlackLimousine.com, and a coordinator confirms partner vehicles in writing before the day.
Business sedan: who is the everyday black car for?
The business sedan is the car most Toronto clients book: a black Cadillac, Lincoln or Mercedes-Benz E-Class or equivalent, unbranded and quiet. It carries two passengers and two checked cases comfortably, which covers the solo executive flying out of Terminal 1, a couple heading to Billy Bishop, a consultant doing site visits across the 401 corridor or a parent going to an appointment at a downtown hospital.
On a one-way trip the sedan is the default for a downtown Toronto to Pearson black car, about 27 km and 25 to 45 minutes via the Gardiner and the 427. Kept by the hour it becomes a mobile office between Bay Street meetings. If a third passenger or a third large suitcase joins the trip, move up to the SUV class rather than squeezing bags onto the back seat.
Tesla Model Y: can I book an electric black car in Toronto?
Yes. The Tesla Model Y class is a black, all-electric vehicle for two passengers and two bags, booked exactly like the business sedan. Companies that report travel emissions ask for it, and so do travellers who simply prefer a silent cabin in stop-and-go traffic on the Don Valley Parkway.
Range planning is our job, not yours. Dispatch assigns the Tesla to local trips, airport runs and hourly bookings within the GTA, where charging is simple, and will suggest a sedan for a long trip such as Toronto to Ottawa if the schedule leaves no charging window. For a day of meetings downtown, an airport transfer from Yorkville or a return from an evening at Scotiabank Arena, the electric car is a like-for-like choice.
First-class sedan: when is an S-Class worth booking?
The first-class sedan is a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or equivalent for two passengers. It is the car for a chief executive visiting the Financial District, a board member being collected at a private terminal, a speaker going from the hotel to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, or anyone who will work, rest or take calls for a long stretch of the day.
The difference from the business sedan is space and quiet in the rear seats, not speed. Book it when the passenger's time in the car is part of the day's work: an investor tour between towers on King and Bay, a long run up the 400 to Muskoka, or an arrival where first impressions matter. It is kept by the hour on the same three-hour minimum as every other car class.
SUV (Yukon XL / Suburban): what fits in a black SUV?
The SUV class is a GMC Yukon XL, Chevrolet Suburban or equivalent: six passenger seats and room for four large suitcases behind the third row. For families landing at Pearson with car seats, for a small team with equipment cases, or for winter trips north of the city, it is usually the right answer.
Height and traction count in a Toronto winter. Our SUVs run winter tires from November to April, and the ride on a snowy Highway 400 or a slushy Gardiner is steadier than in a sedan. Luggage is the honest limit: six adults each with a large case will not fit with six in the cabin, so a group that size with full luggage should look at a Sprinter instead. Our luxury SUV service explains the airport and family uses in more depth.
Premier luxury SUV: can I book a Cadillac Escalade limo in Toronto?
Yes. The premier luxury SUV class is a Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade or equivalent with the same six seats and four bags as the SUV class, and a noticeably more finished cabin. Many people search for a "Cadillac Escalade limo"; in practice it is the flagship black SUV that executives, artists and red-carpet guests book for arrivals at Roy Thomson Hall, a hotel in Yorkville or a private jet at Pearson.
If a specific model matters, write it in the booking notes and dispatch will confirm what is available for your date. For a winter arrival or a VIP who needs space to change or work, this is the most versatile vehicle we run. It is the usual choice for protocol work and for a diplomatic or VIP visit.
Executive Sprinter (7): what is a Sprinter limo?
A Sprinter limo is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter rebuilt inside as a lounge. Our Executive Sprinter seats up to seven in lounge-style seating with standing headroom, space for seven bags and room to talk face to face. It is the vehicle for a roadshow team moving between Bay Street towers, a delegation touring a campus, a wedding party of seven, or friends going to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a tasting day.
One Sprinter usually beats two or three sedans. Everyone arrives together, the conversation continues between stops, and there is one chauffeur and one pickup time to manage. For a full day of meetings, keep it by the hour; the chauffeur stays close, and bags stay safely in the vehicle between stops. More detail is on our Sprinter group transportation page.
First-class Executive Sprinter: what makes the VIP Jet Sprinter different?
The First-class Executive Sprinter is our top Sprinter: six captain's chairs, work tables and space to spread out. Clients sometimes call it the Jet Sprinter because the cabin feels closer to a business jet than to a van. It is booked for investor roadshows, senior leadership offsites, film and music talent, and long intercity days where six people need to arrive rested.
Fewer seats is the point. Every chair is a good seat, so no one rides sideways or at the back. For a Toronto to Ottawa or Montreal day, it lets a team prepare together and eat on the way; for a gala, it lets six guests arrive at once. Choose the seven-seat Executive Sprinter if the extra seat matters more than the chair layout.
Sprinter luxury van (12): how do I move a group of twelve?
The Sprinter luxury van seats up to twelve with space for their luggage, and it is the practical group vehicle for airport transfers, film and TV crews, sports teams, conference delegations and wedding parties. Twelve people and twelve checked bags in one vehicle is simpler than three SUVs, both at the Pearson curb and at the hotel door.
For groups larger than twelve, we combine vans or move to a coach, and a coordinator confirms the plan in writing. For a shuttle loop between a hotel and a venue, such as a hotel near the airport and the Toronto Congress Centre, the van is kept by the hour and runs the loop on your timetable. See employee and crew shuttles for how those programmes run.
Stretch limousine: which sizes can I book, and who supplies them?
Stretch limousines seating 8, 10, 14 or 18 are supplied by vetted partner operators and booked through us. They are the vehicle for weddings, proms, anniversaries, milestone birthdays and nights that should feel like an occasion from the moment the door opens.
Two cautions from the dispatch desk. First, a stretch limousine seats many people but carries very little luggage, about three bags, so it is not an airport vehicle for a group. Second, stretch bookings have a four-hour minimum, because the car is committed for the evening. For a wedding, the usual plan is one vehicle for the couple and a larger one for the party; our stretch limo service in Toronto page walks through sizes and timing.
Party bus: when does a 20- or 30-seat party bus make sense?
Party buses seating 20 or 30 with perimeter seating, lighting and sound come from partner operators. They suit bachelor and bachelorette nights, proms, big birthdays and group runs to Niagara Falls or a casino. The minimum is four to five hours, and a coordinator prices and confirms each one in writing.
Alcohol is not allowed on board, party buses included, so the drinks stay at the licensed stops. Age-restricted destinations such as casinos are 19+. For a group that mainly needs to get from A to B, a Sprinter or coach is usually the better tool; the party bus rental page covers the rest.
Coach (55): how do conferences and teams move by coach?
A 55-seat motorcoach with luggage bays handles conference transfers from Pearson to downtown hotels, tour groups heading to Niagara, sports teams and airport charters. Coaches are supplied by partner operators and planned on one file with the rest of your ground transport, so a delegation can arrive by coach while its executives travel in sedans on the same account.
Coach work is planned rather than dispatched: a coordinator confirms routes, loading points, driver hours and any overnight stays in writing. The minimum is five hours. For a trade show at the MTCC or the International Centre, see trade show transportation.
Rolls-Royce and exotic cars: are they available?
Rolls-Royce, Maybach and other exotic cars are arranged on request through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network. Availability depends on the date, especially in wedding season from May to October, so ask early. They are booked for weddings, proposals, film shoots and arrivals where the car is part of the story. Read more on the Rolls-Royce chauffeur page.
Which vehicles have their own detailed page?
The five classes people ask about most each have a page of their own, with seating plans, luggage limits, typical trips with km and drive times, and how the vehicle compares with its neighbours:
- Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: the seven-seat Executive Sprinter, the six-seat First-class Sprinter and the 12-seat Sprinter van, all chauffeur-driven.
- Cadillac Escalade and premier luxury SUV: the flagship black SUV for six, and how it differs from the Yukon XL / Suburban class.
- Black sedan: the business sedan, the Tesla Model Y and the S-Class first-class sedan, the modern answer to the old town car.
- Party bus: 20- and 30-seat buses, available through our partner fleet.
- Stretch limousine: 8 to 18 seats, available through our partner fleet.
How do I choose a vehicle by passengers and luggage?
Start with people, then bags, then the length of the booking.
- Count every passenger, including children in car seats.
- Count checked suitcases and awkward items: golf bags, strollers, instrument cases, ski bags.
- Decide whether the car waits with you. If it does, choose the car you will be comfortable in for hours.
- Pick the smallest class that fits all three, then upgrade for comfort or image if the day calls for it.
Two passengers with two bags fit a sedan; three to six with modest luggage fit an SUV; seven fit the Executive Sprinter; up to twelve fit the Sprinter van; bigger groups need a coach or several vehicles.

Which vehicle is best for Pearson and Billy Bishop runs?
The airport trip decides most bookings, so here are the planning figures for the common runs. Distances and times are typical, from downtown Toronto around Union Station; rush hour and weather move them.
| Trip | Distance | Typical drive | Usual class |
|---|---|---|---|
| Downtown Toronto to Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | 27 km | 25-45 min | Sedan, SUV for families |
| Downtown to Billy Bishop (YTZ) mainland pavilion | 3-5 km | 10-20 min | Sedan |
| Toronto Pearson to Billy Bishop | about 30 km | 30-50 min | Sedan or SUV |
| Yorkville & Midtown to Pearson | about 25 km | 25-40 min | Sedan or premier SUV |
| Downtown to Niagara Falls | 130 km | 85-110 min | SUV or Sprinter |
| Downtown to Buffalo airport (BUF) | 160 km | 105-135 min | SUV |
At Pearson, pre-arranged cars meet passengers at the designated pickup area on the arrivals level, as the airport explains on its pre-arranged services page; meet and greet inside arrivals is an add-on available at booking. For the Pearson side in full, see our Toronto Pearson airport page.
How old are the vehicles, and how are they kept?
Every vehicle we dispatch, including partner vehicles, is four model years old or younger. The one exception is the rare-car tier of Rolls-Royce, Maybach and Bentley, which may be up to seven model years old because these cars are maintained and valued differently. A vehicle outside the rule is not sent on a TorontoBlackLimousine.com booking.
Cars are cleaned and checked before each trip, run winter tires from November to April, and carry water, charging cables and umbrellas. Vehicle-for-hire operation in the city is licensed by the City of Toronto, which states that limousine owners, service companies and drivers are required to be licensed; see the City of Toronto vehicle-for-hire licensing page. Our association membership in LimousineAssociation.International commits us and our affiliates to written standards on insurance, vehicle age and inspection.
Can every vehicle be booked by the hour?
Yes. Any class can be kept with its chauffeur for a set number of hours, and that is how many of our best days are run: a sedan for a day of client meetings, an Escalade-class SUV for a VIP's evening, a Sprinter for a site tour. Minimums are:
| Vehicle class | Hourly minimum |
|---|---|
| Business sedan / Tesla Model Y | 3 h |
| First-class sedan (S-Class) | 3 h |
| SUV (Yukon XL / Suburban) | 3 h |
| Premier luxury SUV (Navigator / Escalade) | 3 h |
| Executive Sprinter (7) / First-class Sprinter (6) | 3 h |
| Sprinter luxury van (12) | 3 h |
| Stretch limousine (8-18) | 4 h |
| Party bus (20-30) | 4-5 h |
| Coach bus (55) | 5 h |
| Rolls-Royce / exotic (on request) | 3 h |
Extra time runs in 30-minute blocks. How hourly compares with a one-way trip is explained in our hourly vs point-to-point guide.
What about child seats, strollers and wheelchairs?
Infant, convertible and booster seats are available at booking and fitted before the chauffeur arrives; add each child's age and weight in the notes. Strollers fold into any SUV or Sprinter. We have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance: for passengers who can transfer to a seat, the chauffeur folds and stows the wheelchair or walker. We would rather say that plainly than send the wrong car.

Booking any class direct
All eleven classes sit on the TorontoBlackLimousine.com reservation engine, embedded on every page, behind the floating Book now button and at /book/. Choose hourly or one way, pick the class, add child seats or meet and greet, and the fixed all-in fare appears before you confirm. There is no app to install and no marketplace between you and the dispatch desk. Planning a trip with flights and hotels too? The travel desk keeps them on one file. What the fare includes, and what changes it, is on how our fares work, and the chauffeurs who drive the fleet are on the chauffeurs page.
