TorontoBlackLimousine.com picks up at the Hilton Toronto, Fairmont Royal York, Sheraton Centre Toronto, The St. Regis Toronto and other hotels near Union Station. Toronto Pearson is about 27 km away, typically 25–45 minutes by the Gardiner and Highway 427; Billy Bishop is 3–5 km. Keep a chauffeur by the hour for Bay Street meetings, and see your fixed fare instantly when you book your Financial District hotel pickup.
Hilton Toronto car service: how a Financial District hotel pickup works
A hotel pickup in the Financial District is the most common job on our dispatch board. A guest at the Hilton Toronto on Richmond Street West, or at any of the towers around Union Station, needs a car to Pearson at 5:30 a.m., a car from Pearson the night before, or one black car and one chauffeur for a full day of meetings. We handle all three the same way: you enter the hotel name or street address in our reservation engine, add a flight number if there is one, pick the vehicle, and see the fixed, all-in fare before you confirm. The chauffeur arrives at the hotel's front drive or main entrance a few minutes before the booked time and waits there. Nothing is metered, nothing surges, and there is no app or aggregator between you and the dispatcher.
Which Financial District hotels do we pick up from?
Every hotel in the core is simply an address to us, and we have no partnership with any of them; guests book us directly. The names below were checked on the hotels' own sites or brand booking pages on 30 September 2026. Hotels change owners and brands, so type the address if yours is not listed.
- Fairmont Royal York, 100 Front Street West, directly across Front Street from Union Station (hotel site).
- Hilton Toronto, 145 Richmond Street West, a short walk from Osgoode station.
- Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, 123 Queen Street West, across from Nathan Phillips Square.
- The St. Regis Toronto, 325 Bay Street, in the middle of the banking towers.
- Shangri-La Toronto, 188 University Avenue, on the western edge of the district (hotel site).
For the hotels one block west of University Avenue, see our Entertainment District hotel car service page; the Harbour Square towers are on the waterfront hotels page.
How far is a Financial District hotel from Pearson and the rest of the city?
These are dispatcher planning figures from the Union Station area on a weekday outside the rush. The reservation engine calculates the exact route for your hotel, date and time.
| From a Financial District hotel to | Distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ), Terminal 1 or 3 | about 27 km | 25–45 min |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ), Eireann Quay pavilion | 3–5 km | 10–20 min |
| Union Station (VIA, GO, UP Express) | under 1 km | 3–8 min |
| Metro Toronto Convention Centre | about 1 km | 5–10 min |
| Yorkville & Bloor Street | about 5 km | 10–20 min |
| North York Centre | about 15 km | 20–35 min |
| International Centre, Mississauga | about 30 km | 25–40 min |
| Niagara Falls | about 130 km | 85–110 min |
Pearson times stretch toward the top of the range between 7 and 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 and 6:30 p.m., on Friday afternoons in summer, and on days with Gardiner lane closures. The dispatcher builds that into the pickup time we suggest.
Hotels near Union Station Toronto: is it faster to walk, take UP Express or book a car?
If you are staying at a hotel near Union Station and flying from Terminal 1 with a carry-on, the UP Express from Union is honestly hard to beat: about 28 minutes to Terminal 1, with stops at Bloor, Mount Dennis and Weston. A black car wins when you are flying from Terminal 3, travelling with children or several large cases, leaving before the first train or after the last, or simply want to go from the hotel lobby to the departures curb without dragging luggage through the PATH and the station. Our UP Express vs limo guide walks through the choice in detail. For the train side of your trip, see the Union Station car service page.

Toronto hotels with an airport shuttle versus a private car
Many travellers search for Toronto hotels with an airport shuttle before they book a room. Most downtown hotels do not run their own Pearson shuttle, because the UP Express and car services cover the trip; some airport-area hotels do. Always check directly with your hotel rather than relying on a listing. A private car is not a shuttle: there is no fixed departure schedule, no stops at other hotels, and no waiting for other passengers. The car leaves when you are ready, goes straight to your terminal, and carries only your party. For a group that would otherwise fill two taxis, one Sprinter is often simpler than any shuttle.
What does the fare include from a Financial District hotel?
We do not publish prices on this site. The reservation engine shows one fixed, all-in fare before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if the route uses them, Pearson airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. What changes it is the vehicle class, the distance and time, waiting beyond the included allowance, extra stops, and the date and time of day. You see the exact number for your hotel and trip the moment you book your Toronto chauffeur, before you pay anything. Our how our fares work page explains each element without figures.
When is an hourly chauffeur better than one-way transfers?
The Financial District is where our hourly chauffeur service earns its keep. A visiting executive staying at the St. Regis may have a breakfast on King Street, meetings at two banks, a lunch in Yorkville, an afternoon site visit in Mississauga and a flight at 8 p.m. Booking each leg separately means five cars, five waits and five risks of a late pickup. Keeping one car and one chauffeur, from a 3-hour minimum, means the car waits outside each building, bags stay in the trunk, and the last leg is the airport. Extra time runs in 30-minute blocks, so an overrunning meeting costs a little time, not a missed flight.
Roadshows and investor meetings from a Bay Street hotel
Investor roadshows are built around hotel lobbies. A typical Toronto day starts at a Financial District hotel, runs through six or seven meetings in the towers along Bay, King and Wellington, and ends with a flight to Montreal or New York. We assign one chauffeur for the whole day, keep the schedule in the car, and adjust in real time when a meeting runs long. A first-class sedan suits one or two principals; an executive Sprinter carries a banker, the management team and their materials. See roadshows and investor meetings for how we plan those days.
Pickup etiquette at a Financial District hotel
Downtown hotel drives are short and busy, and we treat them that way. The chauffeur arrives five to ten minutes early, stays with the car at the front drive or the nearest legal stopping point, and messages you the car's description and location. If the hotel's door staff direct cars to a side street, the chauffeur follows those instructions. Waiting beyond the included 15 minutes on hotel pickups runs in 15-minute blocks. For early departures, tell the front desk the night before that a car is coming, and pack the evening before: a calm 5 a.m. lobby is the best start to a travel day.
Fairmont Royal York parking versus a chauffeured car
Guests search for Fairmont Royal York parking because driving into the core and parking at a downtown hotel is expensive and slow. The hotel lists its own parking options on its site; we will not quote them here. The practical question is whether you need your own car at all. For a two- or three-night business stay, a chauffeured transfer in from Pearson, a walk or short ride between meetings, and a chauffeur by the hour on the one busy day often removes the parking bill, the Gardiner traffic and the hunt for a spot outside each meeting. Our downtown Toronto to Pearson black car page covers the airport leg.

Sheraton Centre Toronto and City Hall events
The Sheraton Centre sits across Queen Street from City Hall and Nathan Phillips Square, which hosts the Cavalcade of Lights, the New Year's Eve countdown and many summer events. On those nights, Queen and Bay close or slow down, and a pickup outside the main entrance may need to move to a side street. The dispatcher knows the closure pattern and will tell you the exact meeting point. For wedding parties or conference groups staying at the hotel, a Sprinter luxury van seating 12 or a larger coach can run repeated loops between the hotel and a venue.
Conventions at the MTCC from a Financial District hotel
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is almost walkable from most Financial District hotels through the PATH, and many delegates do walk. The car is for everything else: arriving from Pearson with a trade-show kit, moving a booth team with sample cases, getting a keynote speaker from the hotel to the stage door without a crowd, or taking clients to dinner after the show floor closes. Our Metro Toronto Convention Centre car service page lists the drop-off options, and our trade-show team can run shuttles for exhibitors.
Game nights, concerts and theatre from Union Station hotels
Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena are both minutes from the hotels around Union Station, which means traffic on Front, Bremner and Lake Shore can stall for an hour before and after a game or concert. On those nights, we plan the pickup away from the arena exits and tell you where to walk. An hourly booking works well for a client night: drop-off at a restaurant, the game or show, a drink afterwards, and a ride back to the hotel door, all with the same car. Check the Blue Jays schedule when you book a spring or summer stay.
Vehicles for a Financial District hotel pickup

| First-class sedan | 2 / 2 | Executives, VIP guests, full days of meetings |
| SUV | 6 / 4 | Families, ski or golf bags, winter trips |
| Premier luxury SUV | 6 / 4 | Senior executives, red-carpet arrivals |

Arriving at Pearson and heading to a downtown hotel
When you land, turn your phone on and read the chauffeur's message. The fare includes a curbside pickup at the terminal's designated pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals level, which Toronto Pearson describes here. Meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is an optional add-on at booking. We track your flight and include 30 minutes of waiting from actual landing on Canadian domestic and US flights, and 60 minutes on other international arrivals. The drive in usually takes 25–45 minutes, and the chauffeur takes you straight to the hotel's front drive with your bags.
Planning flights and rooms around the car
Many guests book the room, the flight and the car at the same time. Our travel desk works with BookingWorldwide.net to arrange flights into Pearson or Billy Bishop, a Financial District hotel and the chauffeured transfers as one file, which is useful for delegations and assistants booking for executives. You can still book the car on its own at any time, and change pickup times as flights move.
Cancellation, changes and timing
Plans move, and flights change. Cancelling more than 72 hours before pickup costs nothing; 72 hours or less is 10 %, 48 hours or less is 50 %, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100 % of the fare, measured from the scheduled pickup. Changing a pickup time is usually simple if you tell the dispatcher early. For a morning flight from Pearson, we typically suggest leaving a Financial District hotel about three hours before an international departure and two hours before a domestic one, adjusted for the time of day.
