A car service to the Bisha Hotel takes you to 80 Blue Jays Way in Toronto's Entertainment District from Pearson (YYZ), Union Station or anywhere in the GTA. Pearson is about 25 km away, typically 25 to 40 minutes via the 427 and the Gardiner. Rogers Centre is a short walk, so most guests book the car for airports, out-of-core trips and late nights.
The Bisha is one of the hotels on our Entertainment District hotels page. This post is specifically about a car service to the Bisha Hotel: how arrivals work, and how to plan game and show nights from a hotel that sits almost on top of the venues. Fixed fares are in the reservation engine.
How does a car service to the Bisha Hotel work from Pearson?
Book with your flight number and the chauffeur tracks it. After bags, you meet the chauffeur at Pearson's designated pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals curb, as Pearson's pre-arranged services page explains; meet and greet inside arrivals is available at booking. Waiting is included from actual landing: 30 minutes for Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes for other international arrivals. The car takes the 427 to the Gardiner and leaves the expressway near Spadina, arriving at the hotel's Blue Jays Way entrance a few minutes later.
How far is the Bisha from the venues and airports?

Do I need a car for a Blue Jays game from the Bisha?
Usually not to get there. Rogers Centre is a short walk, and walking is the fastest way into the ballpark when the streets fill. The car earns its place around the game: bringing guests from Pearson on game day, taking a group to dinner in another neighbourhood afterward, or collecting someone who cannot walk far. Check the Blue Jays schedule before you book other plans, because game nights change traffic across the west side of downtown. Our sibling post on the Blue Jays game-day plan covers the ballpark itself.
What about concerts and hockey at Scotiabank Arena?
Scotiabank Arena is about 1.2 km east, a pleasant walk on a dry evening. After a sold-out concert, though, tens of thousands of people leave at once, and the streets near the arena lock up. Two approaches work: walk back to the hotel, or book an hourly car with an agreed pickup point away from the arena doors, so you meet the car rather than queue for it. The Scotiabank Arena site lists events, and our sibling post on the Scotiabank Arena concert exit plan shows where pickups work best.
How does a theatre night work from the Bisha?
King Street's theatres are around the corner, so the walk to the show is easy. Theatre nights become car nights when dinner is elsewhere, when the party includes older guests, or when the evening continues across town. A common plan: early dinner in Yorkville, the car brings you back for an 8 p.m. curtain, and you walk home afterward. Mirvish lists shows at its King Street theatres. Our sibling post on a Princess of Wales Theatre night has timings.

When does an hourly chauffeur beat walking?
When the night includes more than one neighbourhood, when the weather turns, or when someone in the party cannot walk far. An hourly chauffeur keeps one car and one chauffeur with you for a 3-hour minimum, extra time in 30-minute blocks. The car follows you from dinner to the game to a late bar elsewhere, and waits where it is allowed to. For a group celebration, a Sprinter keeps everyone together; see our concert and game day limo page.
What does a game-day timeline look like for an out-of-town group?
Six friends flying in from Calgary for a Saturday afternoon game:
- 10:15 - landing at Pearson; an Executive Sprinter waits at the pre-arranged area.
- 11:10 - bags dropped at the Bisha; rooms may not be ready, so the bell desk holds them.
- 11:30 - lunch nearby on foot.
- 13:07 - first pitch; everyone walks to Rogers Centre.
- 16:30 - back at the hotel to check in.
- 19:30 - the Sprinter collects the group for dinner on Ossington or in the Distillery District.
- 23:30 - back to Blue Jays Way.
The car does the long legs; feet do the short ones. If rain arrives mid-afternoon, the plan flips: the Sprinter collects the group at a corner near the ballpark instead of everyone walking back wet, which is easy to arrange when the car is already booked by the hour.
How do event nights affect arrivals and departures?
When a game, concert and theatre crowd overlap, the streets around the hotel slow sharply in the hour before and after events. Arriving from Pearson at 6:30 p.m. on a game night can add 15 to 20 minutes to the last kilometre. Dispatch checks the venue schedules and routes the car to approach from the quieter side, and may agree a pickup at a nearby corner. For departures to Pearson on event nights, leave earlier than you think. The same applies to arrivals by train: Union Station is only about 1.2 km away, but on a game night the drive around the station can take longer than the walk, so the chauffeur may suggest meeting on a quieter side street. If you are bringing a group in for a game, give the dispatcher the first pitch or doors time when you book, and they will set the airport pickup so the group reaches the hotel with time to drop bags and walk over.
Is the UP Express a sensible choice?
For a solo traveller with a carry-on landing at Terminal 1, the UP Express reaches Union Station in about 28 minutes, and the Bisha is about 1.2 km west, a walk through the Skywalk and along Front Street. A car is simpler with luggage, families, Terminal 3 or a late arrival.
| Option | Door to door | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express + walk | 50 to 65 min | carry-on | solo travellers, Terminal 1, daytime |
| Taxi or ride-hail | 25 to 40 min plus queue | normal | spontaneous trips |
| Pre-booked black car | 25 to 40 min from the curb | sized to your party | families, groups, late arrivals |
| Hourly chauffeur | as long as your night | stays in the car | games, concerts, nights across town |
What about guests with limited mobility on event nights?
The walking distances that make the Bisha convenient for most guests can be hard for others. Game-day sidewalks are crowded, curb ramps are busy and the walk from the arena takes longer than the map suggests. For a guest who walks slowly or uses a wheelchair they can transfer from, book a car for the event itself and tell us at booking. The chauffeur drops as close to the accessible entrance as police and venue traffic plans allow, folds and stows the chair or walker, and meets you afterward at an agreed point rather than in the thick of the crowd. We have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance. Check the venue's own accessibility information for entrances and seating.
How do conventions at the MTCC fit a Bisha stay?
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is about a ten-minute walk from the hotel, so delegates rarely need a car for the show itself. The car matters for the edges of a convention week: the Pearson arrival with booth materials, client dinners in other neighbourhoods, a site visit in Mississauga or Vaughan, and the departure on the last afternoon when everyone leaves at once. Exhibitors moving display cases between the hotel and the loading area often book an SUV or Sprinter for the first and last days. Our conventions and trade shows page covers multi-day plans.
Which vehicle suits Bisha guests?
Couples choose the first-class sedan or a business sedan. Families and small groups take the SUV. Groups of seven fit the Executive Sprinter, and up to twelve the Sprinter luxury van. For bigger celebrations, stretch limousines and party buses come from partner operators. Child seats are available at booking.
What does the fare include?
The fixed, all-in fare shown before you confirm covers the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, airport fees on airport trips and gratuity, with HST shown separately. Game nights do not change the fare; there is no surge. The fare changes with the vehicle class, distance and time, the date, extra waiting and extra stops. See how our fares work.
How early should I leave for a Pearson flight?
Allow 25 to 40 minutes for the drive at quiet times, up to an hour in weekday rush hours, and more on event nights, plus Pearson's check-in guidance for your destination. For US flights, add time for US preclearance. Booking the morning car the night before saves a scramble after a late game.
What mistakes do guests make around the venues?
- Booking a car for the three-minute trip to Rogers Centre, then sitting in game traffic.
- Asking the chauffeur to collect at the arena door when the whole crowd is leaving.
- Forgetting that King Street may be closed during TIFF in September.
- Leaving for Pearson at 6:30 p.m. on a game night with no margin.

Which nearby hotels and guides help?
Groups often spread across the area, and we drive between the Bisha, 1 Hotel Toronto and the Ritz-Carlton daily. The hotel's own site is bishahoteltoronto.com; we are not affiliated with it and simply drive to and from its door.
