How much a wedding limo costs in Toronto depends on six things: the vehicle class, the hours booked (4-hour minimum for stretch limousines, 3 hours for sedans, SUVs and Sprinters), the date and season, the distance between home, ceremony and venue, the number of vehicles, and any extras. The reservation engine shows the fixed, all-in fare for your exact plan before you confirm.
How much is a wedding limo in Toronto, really?
The honest answer is that there is no single figure. A couple who book one sedan for three hours on a Thursday in March and a couple who book a stretch limousine, two Sprinters and a getaway car on a Saturday in September are buying very different things. What we can do is show you exactly what drives the total, so you can shape the plan to the budget you have. Our wedding limo service page covers the vehicles and the planning process. This post goes through the six cost factors one at a time, with practical ways to keep each one under control, and explains how to see a fixed fare for your own day in a couple of minutes.
Factor 1: which vehicle class do you choose?
The vehicle is the biggest single driver. Our own fleet covers sedans, SUVs and Sprinters; stretch limousines and party buses come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and Rolls-Royce or Maybach cars are available on request. Larger and rarer vehicles cost more per hour and often carry longer minimums. Here is how the classes compare, without prices:
| Vehicle | Seats | Hourly minimum | What it does for the day |
|---|---|---|---|
| First-class sedan (S-Class) | 2 | 3 h | Couple's car, getaway at the end of the night |
| Premier luxury SUV | 6 | 3 h | Couple plus parents, or a small wedding party |
| Executive Sprinter | 7 | 3 h | Wedding party with room to stand and sit facing |
| Sprinter luxury van | 12 | 3 h | Guest shuttle or a large wedding party |
| Stretch limousine (partner) | 8, 10, 14 or 18 | 4 h | Classic wedding party photos and arrival |
| Party bus (partner) | 20 or 30 | 4 to 5 h | Big wedding party, between photos and reception |
| Rolls-Royce or Maybach | 2 to 4 | on request | Signature couple car for the ceremony |
A useful rule: book the impressive car only for the part of the day that needs it, usually the ceremony and photos, and a practical vehicle for everything else.
Factor 2: how many hours do you book?
Wedding transport is booked by the hour, and the hours are the second-largest factor. Sedans, SUVs and Sprinters have a 3-hour minimum; stretch limousines have a 4-hour minimum; party buses 4 to 5 hours. Extra time is added in 30-minute blocks. The hours run from the first pickup to the final drop-off, including the time the car waits during the ceremony and photos. Many couples over-book because they keep one car from the morning hair appointment to the last dance. A tighter plan, for example a stretch from the bride's home to the ceremony and photos, then a sedan later for the getaway, uses fewer hours on the most expensive vehicle.
Factor 3: what date and season is the wedding?
Toronto's wedding season runs from about May to October, and Saturdays in June, August and September are the most in demand. Long weekends and dates that clash with big city events, such as the Toronto International Film Festival in September or the Caribbean Carnival in summer, also fill up. A Friday or Sunday wedding, a weekday or a winter date gives you more choice of vehicles and sometimes a better fare. Demand also affects availability: popular stretch limousines and Rolls-Royce cars for peak Saturdays are often booked a year ahead. If your date is fixed, book early. If it is flexible, ask the reservation engine about two or three dates and compare.
Factor 4: how far apart are home, ceremony, photos and reception?
Distance turns into hours. A wedding where the bride's home, the church, the photo spot and the reception are all within 5 km downtown uses far less driving time than one that starts in Mississauga, holds the ceremony in the city and ends at a venue in King City or Niagara-on-the-Lake. Planning figures from downtown Toronto:
| Wedding area | From downtown Toronto | From Pearson (YYZ) |
|---|---|---|
| Casa Loma and midtown | about 5 km, 10 to 20 min | about 25 km, 25 to 40 min |
| Distillery District | about 2 km, 5 to 15 min | about 30 km, 30 to 45 min |
| Vaughan banquet halls | about 35 km, 30 to 45 min | about 25 km, 20 to 35 min |
| King City estates | about 45 km, 40 to 55 min | about 40 km, 35 to 50 min |
| Caledon | about 55 km, 45 to 60 min | about 40 km, 35 to 50 min |
| Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries | about 125 km, 85 to 105 min | about 120 km, 80 to 100 min |
Tolls on the planned route, including the 407 ETR, are included in the fixed fare, so an out-of-town venue does not bring a toll bill afterwards.

Factor 5: how many vehicles and guest shuttles?
Many couples start with one limousine and end up with three or four vehicles: a car for the couple, a stretch or Sprinter for the wedding party, a sedan for parents or grandparents, and a shuttle for guests between the hotel and the venue. Each vehicle has its own hourly minimum, so the total grows quickly. Two ways to keep it sensible: combine roles (one Sprinter can move the wedding party in the afternoon and then run a guest shuttle in the evening), and keep guest shuttles to fixed departure times rather than on demand. Multi-vehicle plans, coaches and party buses can be priced in writing by a coordinator. Our wedding shuttle for guests post covers the guest side in detail.
Factor 6: which extras do you add?
Extras are smaller items but they add up. Waiting beyond the booked hours is charged in 30-minute blocks. Extra stops, for example a detour for photos at a second location, can add time. Meet and greet inside arrivals at Pearson for family flying in, and child seats for flower girls and ring bearers, are available at booking. A wheelchair-accessible vehicle for a grandparent can be booked in advance; tell us about the wheelchair or scooter at booking. Decorations such as ribbons are a conversation with your coordinator. There is no extra fee for the gratuity, which is already included in the fixed fare, and no surprise fuel charge.
What does the fixed fare include?
The reservation engine shows a fixed, all-in fare before you confirm: the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls on the planned route, airport fees where relevant and the gratuity, with HST shown separately. There is no meter and no surge, so a slow photo session or traffic on the Gardiner does not change the price of the time you booked. What you pay for is the plan you book: the vehicles, the hours and any extras you choose. That makes it easy to compare two versions of your day, for example one with a stretch limousine and one with a Sprinter, before you decide.
How do you keep the total down without spoiling the day?
From our dispatch desk, the changes that save the most:
- Book the showpiece car for the ceremony and photos only, then switch to an SUV for the evening.
- Cluster locations. A photo spot near the venue saves an hour of driving.
- Use one Sprinter for the wedding party instead of two smaller cars.
- Pick a Friday or Sunday, or a date outside peak season, if you are flexible.
- Set guest shuttles to fixed runs, such as two trips from the hotel and two back.
- Book early for peak Saturdays, so you get the vehicle you want rather than what is left.
Is alcohol allowed in a wedding limo?
No. Alcohol is not allowed in any of our vehicles, including stretch limousines, party buses and wedding cars. That rule applies on wedding days as much as any other day. Plan the toast at the venue or the photo stop rather than on board. It keeps the day safe, protects your outfits from spills and avoids problems with the law: Ontario's rules on open alcohol in vehicles are strict, and the chauffeur cannot make exceptions. Water is fine, and on a hot day the chauffeur will make sure the car is cool before you step in.
What should a realistic wedding-day plan look like?
A Saturday plan for a midtown ceremony and a Vaughan reception:
- 12:30 pm Executive Sprinter collects the wedding party from the bride's home in North York.
- 1:30 pm Ceremony in midtown, about 15 km; the Sprinter waits. Our Toronto wedding venues transport plan post maps other venue pairings.
- 2:45 pm Photos at Casa Loma gardens, about 2 km; see our Casa Loma wedding transportation post.
- 4:30 pm Drive to the Vaughan venue, about 35 km.
- 5:30 pm The Sprinter is released; a first-class sedan arrives later for the 11:30 pm getaway.
That is a 5-hour Sprinter booking plus a short sedan booking, instead of one car kept for twelve hours.

When should you book, and what is the cancellation policy?
Book as soon as your venue and date are confirmed, especially for peak Saturdays and rare vehicles. Add a final timeline about two weeks before the day. Cancellation follows the sitewide policy, measured from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 %; 48 hours or less, 50 %; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 %. Your marriage licence, which in Toronto is issued through the City of Toronto, is a separate task; leave time for it. Our how to book a wedding limo guide walks through the booking steps and a checklist for the final week.
What about family flying in for the wedding?
Out-of-town guests often need airport rides, and booking them on the same account keeps the day's logistics in one place. Pearson is about 27 km and 25 to 45 minutes from downtown; the chauffeur tracks each flight and meets guests at the pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals level, with meet and greet inside arrivals available at booking. Our travel desk can book flights and a hotel block for the wedding guests. For a destination wedding or honeymoon abroad, the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network covers chauffeured cars in more than 70 countries and 500 cities, booked on the same Toronto account; see the network directory.
How do you see your own wedding limo fare?
Open our reservation engine, choose hourly, enter the first pickup address and the start time, pick the vehicle and the number of hours, and add the ceremony, photo and reception addresses in the notes. The engine shows the fixed, all-in fare straight away. Try two or three versions of the plan, such as a stretch versus a Sprinter, or five hours versus six, and compare. For three or more vehicles, coaches or party buses, a coordinator can price the whole plan in writing. Our Rolls-Royce wedding car post covers the signature-car option, and the Rolls-Royce chauffeur page explains how it is arranged.
