The National Home Show Toronto runs 5 to 14 March 2027 at the Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place, about 4 to 5 km and 10 to 20 minutes from Union Station and about 24 km and 25 to 40 minutes from Pearson. Exhibitors usually keep an SUV or Sprinter by the hour for move-in and staffing; visitors book a return trip or a half-day chauffeur.
The National Home Show closes Toronto's winter show season at Exhibition Place. For exhibitors it is a long stretch of early starts and late finishes; for visitors it is a research day that ends with an armful of brochures and samples. This post covers both. The wider show calendar and venue notes are on our conventions and trade shows in Toronto page.
National Home Show Toronto: when and where is it in 2027?
The show's official page lists the next National Home Show for 5 to 14 March 2027 at the Enercare Centre, 100 Princes' Boulevard, on the Exhibition Place grounds. It is organised by Home Shows TO. Opening hours vary by day, generally opening in the morning and closing in the early evening, so check the official page for the day you plan to visit before booking a pickup time.
The 2026 show ran in March as well. Exhibitors should also check move-in and move-out times in their exhibitor manual, which fall outside public hours.
How far is the Enercare Centre from where home-show visitors start?

How should exhibitors plan move-in and move-out?
The show's contractors handle freight, booth builds and heavy displays through the building's loading areas. What exhibitors need from us is the people side: a team of installers or sales staff moving between a hotel or office, the hall and a supplier, with tools in bags and boxes of brochures. An SUV for up to six with cases, or a 12-seat Sprinter luxury van for a bigger crew, held by the hour, covers that.
Our hourly chauffeur service in Toronto starts at 3 hours for sedans, SUVs and Sprinters, with extra time in 30-minute blocks, so an open-ended move-in day is easy to book. The chauffeur waits nearby, runs to a hardware store when a bracket is missing, and takes the team to dinner.
What about staffing the booth for ten days?
A ten-day consumer show needs shift changes. A kitchen or window company might staff its booth with two teams, morning and afternoon, coming from an office in Vaughan or Mississauga. Rather than ten people driving and parking every day, a Sprinter can run a fixed morning and afternoon shift run from the office to the hall and back. A coordinator prices multi-day plans in writing.
For one or two staff, a standing booking for the same SUV each day keeps things simple, with the same chauffeur where we can.
How do renovation-planning visitors use a chauffeur?
A home-show visit is research: compare three kitchen companies, look at flooring, talk to window installers, collect quotes and samples. Couples and families spend hours on the floor and leave with bags. An hourly booking keeps those bags in the trunk and lets you continue to a showroom or a supplier afterwards without driving or parking twice.
Typical pattern: a half-day booking from home to the show, about three hours on the floor, then home. Add time if you plan to visit a showroom on the way back.

What does a visitor's renovation day look like?
A worked example for a couple from Markham, about 38 km away:
- 10:00 a.m. Premier luxury SUV at the door.
- 10:45 Set-down near the Enercare Centre; meeting point agreed in the main lobby.
- 10:50 to 1:45 Kitchens, flooring and windows; brochures handed to the chauffeur at a midday text-and-meet.
- 2:00 Collected and driven to a flooring showroom on the way home.
- 3:30 Home, with everything in the trunk.
About five and a half hours by the hour, with no parking search and no carrying samples to a train.
Is parking a sensible alternative?
For some visitors. The show's page says underground and surface lots are managed by the City at posted rates, and Exhibition Place lists about 5,400 spaces across the grounds, including 1,300 underground. We do not print parking rates; check the grounds' getting here page. On March weekends, especially if another event shares the grounds, lots fill and exits queue at closing time.
Our sibling post on Enercare Centre drop-off and parking covers gates, meeting points and when parking wins.
Can visitors use transit instead?
Yes. Exhibition GO station on the Lakeshore West line sits beside the grounds, and the show's page notes GO service to the area; TTC buses and streetcars also reach Exhibition Place. Check GO Transit before you travel. For a solo visitor with nothing to carry, transit is sensible. A good compromise for some visitors is transit in and a car home: take the train in the morning, then book a one-way pickup from the Enercare Centre for the end of the visit, when the bags of samples and brochures make the platform and the train awkward.
A car makes more sense for anyone carrying samples or brochures, families with young children, visitors from outside the GTA, older relatives and anyone with mobility needs.
Which vehicle suits a home-show visit?
- Business sedan: one or two visitors with a few brochures.
- SUV or premier luxury SUV: a couple or family with samples, coats and a stroller; up to six people.
- Sprinter luxury van (12): an exhibitor crew or a contractor's team visiting together.
- Executive Sprinter (7): a builder or designer hosting clients around the show floor and then to lunch.
- Wheelchair-accessible vehicle: available when booked in advance; tell us about the wheelchair or scooter at booking.
Capacities are on the fleet page.
What mistakes do home-show visitors make?
- Arriving at opening on the busiest weekend. Mid-week mornings are calmer for long conversations with exhibitors.
- Booking the return at closing time. Book 20 to 30 minutes later, or keep the car hourly.
- Choosing a sedan for a family with samples. Book an SUV.
- No meeting point. Agree an indoor lobby spot, not "outside".
- Forgetting March weather. Late snow and slush still hit the Gardiner; leave extra time.
How do out-of-town exhibitors and buyers arrive?
Most fly into Pearson, about 24 km away, or Billy Bishop, about 3 km away. Every airport pickup is flight-tracked, with waiting included from the actual landing: 30 minutes on Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals. Curbside pickup at Pearson's pre-arranged area is included; a name-board meet inside arrivals is available at booking.
US exhibitors driving up can book a cross-border car; every passenger needs a valid passport or other accepted document. The travel desk can book flights and rooms near Exhibition Place for an exhibitor team.
How do contractors and designers use the show with clients?
Some renovation professionals bring clients to the show to choose finishes together: a designer meets a couple at the door, walks them through cabinet and tile exhibitors, then continues to a supplier's showroom. An Executive Sprinter or premier luxury SUV kept by the hour turns that into one smooth afternoon, with the designer's sample cases and the clients' brochures in the back and no one hunting for parking twice. For a designer hosting two or three client groups across a weekend, a standing booking for the same vehicle each day keeps the routine simple, and every ride can carry a client reference on the invoice.
What happens on the final day's move-out?
Move-out starts when the show closes on the last day, and it rarely finishes on time. Display pieces go with the show's contractors; the team still needs to get home, often late in the evening and tired. Keep the SUV or Sprinter by the hour from the closing time, rather than booking a fixed return that may arrive too early or too late. The chauffeur waits nearby and comes to the door when the last box is sealed. For teams flying home the next morning, add the Pearson run to the same booking file so dispatch has the whole plan in one place.
Which hotels suit exhibitors?
Hotel X is on the Exhibition Place grounds, which makes early move-in mornings easy. King West and Liberty Village are a few minutes north, and the Financial District is about 4 to 5 km east, with more restaurants for client dinners. Our Entertainment District and King West hotels page covers the closest front drives and the notes our chauffeurs use there.
How does the home show fit the rest of the season?
It is the last big consumer show at the Enercare Centre before spring. The Toronto International Boat Show runs there in January, and our trade shows Toronto 2026 calendar lists the other verified shows. Companies exhibiting at several shows can put every ride on a corporate account with a show reference on each invoice line.
Can we bring drinks or a pet in the car after the show?
The one firm rule is about alcohol. It is not allowed in our vehicles: no drinking on board, in any class. If an exhibitor team wants to celebrate after the final day, the chauffeur takes them to a restaurant and collects them afterwards. Pets need prior approval at booking; service animals are welcome but should be mentioned at booking.
How do I book transport to the National Home Show?
Open the reservation engine on any page or go to /book/, enter the Enercare Centre, 100 Princes' Boulevard, and your pickup address, choose a return, half day or hourly booking and a vehicle class, and the fixed fare appears before you confirm. It includes the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls on the planned route and gratuity, with HST shown separately. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup; 72 hours or less is 10 %, 48 hours or less is 50 %, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100 %.
