A limo to the Toronto AutoShow from TorontoBlackLimousine.com is a chauffeured car to the Canadian International AutoShow at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, beside Union Station. It is under 1 km (5–10 min) from the Financial District and about 27 km (25–45 min) from Pearson. Book a car service to the AutoShow one way, or hourly (3-hour minimum) for a full show day.
Car service to the Toronto AutoShow: who books it?
The Canadian International AutoShow is the country's best-known consumer car show, and for ten days every February it fills the Metro Toronto Convention Centre with new models, concept cars and the exhibitors who build them. Our limo and car service to the Toronto AutoShow is booked by three kinds of people: families and enthusiasts who would rather not pay for downtown parking or drive in February weather; dealers, manufacturers' staff and exhibitors who move between the show floor, hotels and client dinners all day; and visiting media and executives who land at Pearson on media day and need to be on the floor on time. All three book the same way, directly on our reservation engine at /book/, which shows the fixed, all-in fare before you confirm.
When and where is the 2027 Toronto AutoShow?
The official AutoShow site lists the next show as February 12 to 21, 2027 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, with media day on February 11. The show's venue and dates are set by the organisers and can change, so confirm them on the official site before you book, along with daily opening hours. The convention centre has two buildings, which the MTCC's own site lists as the North Building at 255 Front Street West and the South Building at 222 Bremner Boulevard, linked to each other and within a short walk of Union Station. Tell us at booking which building and entrance your tickets or exhibitor pass point you to, and your chauffeur will plan the stop on that side.
How far is the MTCC from downtown hotels, Pearson and the suburbs?
| From / to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre | Distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Financial District / Union Station | under 1 km | 5–10 min |
| Yorkville & Midtown | about 5 km | 10–20 min |
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 27 km | 25–45 min |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ) mainland pavilion | about 2 km | 5–10 min |
| North York | about 16 km | 20–35 min |
| Mississauga | about 30 km | 30–45 min |
| Vaughan | about 35 km | 30–45 min |
| Markham | about 35 km | 30–45 min |
| Oakville | about 38 km | 30–45 min |
| Hamilton | about 68 km | 50–75 min |
These are typical planning figures; February snow, weekend show crowds and Front Street traffic can add time. Enter your own pickup address in the booking engine and it returns the exact fixed fare for that trip.
Where does the chauffeur drop you at the convention centre?
The MTCC publishes driving directions for both buildings and lists about 1,700 indoor parking spaces, but a chauffeured car does not need any of them. Your chauffeur drops you at the building entrance that suits your ticket, on Front Street for the North Building or on Bremner Boulevard for the South Building, wherever stopping is permitted that day, and then clears the curb. On the busiest show weekends traffic control around the entrances can change, and the chauffeur follows posted signs and staff directions. We don't promise a particular door on this page; we agree the pickup point with you at booking and confirm it by text on the day. If you are staying in a connected hotel or arriving by UP Express, you may be able to walk indoors, and the car only needs to handle the evening.
Why a chauffeur beats driving yourself to the AutoShow
The AutoShow falls in the coldest weeks of the Toronto winter. Driving downtown means a snowy Gardiner or DVP, a hunt for an underground space on a show weekend and a slow exit at closing time. A black car from your door avoids all of it:
- the car is warm when it collects you and the chauffeur handles the winter driving;
- no parking garage, no ticket to lose, no long walk through slush;
- children, grandparents and anyone carrying bags of brochures are dropped right at the building;
- the fare is fixed and shown in advance, including any 407 ETR tolls if the route uses them;
- after the show, the car takes you on to dinner instead of home through rush hour.
Our cars run on winter tires from November to April.
Hourly chauffeur for exhibitors, dealers and VIP guests
For people who work the AutoShow, the hourly chauffeur service in Toronto is the lead product. One car and one chauffeur stay with you from a 3-hour minimum, with extra time in 30-minute blocks: morning pickup at the hotel, a run to the floor, a lunch meeting in the Financial District, a client collected from Pearson, an evening event and the drive back. Manufacturers and dealer groups often keep a first-class sedan or premier luxury SUV for a visiting executive, and an Executive Sprinter for a team. See our corporate car service page for account billing and multiple passengers on one file.
Media day and preview night: timing tips
Media day and any preview or charity evening before public opening are the tightest schedules of the week. Our advice:
- Book the car as soon as you have your credential and the start time.
- If you are flying in, arrive the day before; February weather can delay flights into Pearson.
- Allow at least 45 minutes from Pearson to the MTCC at morning rush, more in snow.
- Give us the name of the building and the entrance on your credential so the drop is precise.
- For an evening gala, book the return hourly so the chauffeur is on call when the speeches end.
Event schedules are set by the organisers; always confirm them on the official AutoShow site.
Which vehicle should we book for the AutoShow?
| Who is travelling | Suggested vehicle | Seats / bags |
|---|---|---|
| One or two visitors | Business sedan | 2 / 2 |
| An electric choice for an EV launch | Tesla Model Y | 2 / 2 |
| A visiting executive | First-class sedan | 2 / 2 |
| A family or a small team | SUV, Yukon XL or Suburban | 6 / 4 |
| A dealer group or media crew | Executive Sprinter or first-class Executive Sprinter | 6–7 |
| A staff shuttle | Sprinter luxury van or a partner coach | 12–55 |
Is the UP Express or TTC a better way to the AutoShow?
Transit is a strong option for a solo visitor. The MTCC sits beside Union Station, which is served by the TTC subway, GO Transit and the UP Express from Pearson Terminal 1. For a traveller with a carry-on going from T1 to Union, the train is often the simplest choice. A car wins for families, for groups from the suburbs, for visitors arriving at Terminal 3, for anyone with heavy bags or display materials, and for late evenings after a dinner. Our UP Express versus limo guide compares the two honestly.
AutoShow trips from Pearson and out-of-town visitors
Dealers and visitors from across Canada and the United States fly in for the AutoShow. Your chauffeur tracks the flight and meets you at the pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals curb at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, with 30 minutes of included waiting from actual landing on domestic and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals; meet and greet inside arrivals is an optional add-on at booking. Read our Pearson airport limo page for details, and use our travel desk to arrange flights and a hotel close to the convention centre.
Where should AutoShow visitors stay?
The closest hotels are in the Financial District and around the convention centre, several within walking distance of the MTCC. If you have an early flight on the last day, an airport hotel cuts the morning drive. For exhibitors running a full week, our dispatch desk can schedule daily hotel-to-floor runs on one booking reference.
Making a day of it in Toronto
The AutoShow is a short drive from the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium and the Hockey Hall of Fame, all popular with families on a February weekend. With an hourly chauffeur you can visit the show in the morning, eat on King Street West and catch a Leafs or Raptors game at Scotiabank Arena in the evening, all with one car. February is also the season for Winterlicious and other winter events, which pair well with a show visit.
AutoShow weekends: traffic and winter weather
The weekends of the AutoShow are its busiest days. Front Street and Bremner Boulevard slow down at opening and closing, and when a hockey or basketball game is on at Scotiabank Arena the area around Union Station becomes very congested. Add snow and the Gardiner can crawl. Check 511 Ontario for highway conditions; your chauffeur does the same and picks the approach on the day. We schedule pickups with a buffer in winter and would rather wait for you than make you wait in the cold.
Child seats, accessibility and luggage
Infant, convertible and booster seats are available at booking. We have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance: for passengers who can transfer to a seat, the chauffeur folds and stows the wheelchair or walker. Exhibitors moving samples or display pieces should tell us the size and number of cases so we assign a vehicle with enough cargo space; larger freight needs a courier.
How to book a limo to the Toronto AutoShow
Book on our reservation engine at /book/ or with the Book now button on every page. Choose one way or hourly, enter the MTCC as the destination, pick your vehicle and time, and the engine shows the fixed, all-in fare, including the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, any 407 ETR tolls, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. Our cancellation terms are simple: free beyond 72 hours, 10 % inside 72 hours, 50 % inside 48 hours, and the full fare inside 24 hours or for a no-show. For other shows at the convention centre, see our conventions and trade shows page and the MTCC venue guide.
Can a chauffeur take us to dealerships after the show?
Many visitors use the AutoShow as research and then want to test-drive the model they liked. With an hourly booking your chauffeur can take you from the convention centre to dealerships across the GTA in one afternoon: the auto malls along the 401 corridor, showrooms in Vaughan and Markham, or a brand's flagship store in Mississauga. You see the car, sit in it, and leave the driving home to us. Tell dispatch the addresses in advance so the route runs in a sensible order and the time estimate is realistic.
Planning a school, club or company visit to the AutoShow
Car clubs, technical colleges and companies with an automotive focus often bring groups on a weekday, when the floor is quieter. A Sprinter luxury van carries up to twelve; larger groups use a coach from a vetted partner. Share the group size, the arrival time and the entrance on your tickets, and a coordinator will confirm the vehicle and a pickup point that keeps the group together. Weekday arrivals avoid the busiest weekend traffic around Front Street, and the return can be timed for after the evening rush on the Gardiner.
