Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto is at 60 Simcoe Street at King, and Meridian Hall is at 1 Front Street East at Yonge. Both are within about 1 km of Union Station (5–15 minutes by car) and about 26–27 km from Pearson (30–45 minutes). TorontoBlackLimousine.com drops you at the doors and waits through the encore by the hour, so you skip the parking garage. Book your concert car.
Roy Thomson Hall Toronto: where the car stops and why it matters
Roy Thomson Hall Toronto sits at 60 Simcoe Street, at the corner of King Street West, in the heart of the Entertainment District. Its curved glass shell opened in 1982 and it is home to the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, with concerts, choirs, comedy and gala events across the year; the venue's website lists what is on. For a chauffeur, the hall's location is both an advantage and a challenge: it is minutes from the Financial District hotels, but King Street carries streetcars and the surrounding blocks are busy with restaurants, theatres and, on game nights, crowds heading to Scotiabank Arena or the Rogers Centre. We drop at the main public entrance, as close as traffic allows, and plan the pickup around the end of the performance.
Meridian Hall: the second big hall a kilometre east
Meridian Hall is at 1 Front Street East, at Yonge and Front, a short walk from the St. Lawrence Market. It opened in 1960 as the O'Keefe Centre, later became the Hummingbird Centre and then the Sony Centre, and has carried the Meridian Hall name since 2019. With more than 3,000 seats, it is one of the largest soft-seat theatres in the country and is run by TO Live, which also programmes other civic stages. Touring musicals, concerts, comedy and dance fill the calendar. Because many shows sell out, the hall empties in one wave, so the chauffeur's pickup point and timing are agreed in advance by text.
How far are the halls from hotels and Pearson?

The Gardiner Expressway is the usual route from Pearson. When it is slow, we use Highway 401 and the Don Valley Parkway or come in along local streets. The Pearson airport limo page covers curbside pickup and included waiting.
Roy Thomson Hall parking and Meridian Hall parking: is a car better?
Searches for Roy Thomson Hall parking and Meridian Hall parking are common because driving downtown on a concert night is stressful. There are underground garages near both halls, but they fill on busy evenings, rates vary by operator and event, and leaving after a sold-out show means queuing up the ramp behind everyone else. Check the venues' own guidance if you plan to drive. A chauffeur avoids the problem completely: you are dropped at the doors, and the car returns when you text. That also means nobody has to skip the interval drink to drive home. For single guests travelling along the subway, St. Andrew station near Roy Thomson Hall and King or Union near Meridian Hall make the TTC a reasonable choice.

How does a concert-night booking work?
Choose your pickup address, enter the show start time and pick a vehicle in our reservation engine; the fixed, all-in fare appears before you confirm. We usually suggest arriving 20 to 30 minutes before curtain, more if you plan to collect tickets or have a pre-show drink at the bar. After the performance, text the chauffeur as you leave your seat. Because both halls empty in a single wave, the chauffeur may wait on a nearby side street and come in when you are ready, rather than idle in front of the doors where streetcars and other cars compete for space. The agreed meeting point is confirmed by text before the show ends.
Why keep an hourly chauffeur for a night at the symphony or a show?
A concert night is often dinner, the show and a drink afterwards. With an hourly chauffeur in Toronto, one car stays with you for a minimum of three hours, extra time in 30-minute blocks, and the chauffeur follows your plan rather than a fixed pickup. If the encore runs long or you meet friends at intermission and change plans, the car adapts. Hourly is also ideal when you are hosting clients: dinner on King West, the performance, and drop-offs at two hotels and a home in Rosedale, all with one chauffeur. One-way transfers are fine when you know when the show ends and are going straight home.
TIFF, galas and special performances
Roy Thomson Hall has long been one of the main gala venues for the Toronto International Film Festival, usually held in September, and the hall also hosts award shows, convocations and charity galas. On those nights, King Street and nearby side streets may be closed or controlled, and arrivals are timed for red carpets and security. Our TIFF transportation page explains how we plan around closures; always check the festival's schedule for the year. For other big evenings, see VIP event transportation, and the Toronto Jazz Festival and Luminato and Hot Docs pages cover festival seasons that also use downtown stages.
Which vehicle suits your group?
For a couple, a business sedan or a first-class sedan such as a Mercedes S-Class is comfortable and discreet. Groups of up to six travel in a Yukon XL or Suburban, or a premier luxury SUV. Seven fit in an executive Sprinter, and twelve in a Sprinter luxury van, which is a popular choice for a family celebration or a company outing to a musical. For larger groups, party buses and coaches come from vetted partners in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, managed on the same booking. Smaller cars move more easily on King and Front on show nights.
Game nights, festivals and downtown closures
The halls sit close to Scotiabank Arena, the Rogers Centre and the Union Station area, so traffic rises sharply on hockey, basketball and baseball nights. Street festivals, parades, marathons and film shoots can also close King, Front or Yonge. We check the city's closure notices and Ontario 511 before each job, and the chauffeur will text you if the usual drop-off is blocked. If there is a Scotiabank Arena game or concert the same evening, we allow more time and may suggest dropping on a quieter side street a short walk from the doors.
Arriving from Pearson for an evening performance
Visitors landing at Pearson on the day of a show should book with their flight number. Included waiting is 30 minutes after actual landing for Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes for other international flights. The fare covers curbside pickup in the pre-arranged area on the arrivals level, as described on the Toronto Pearson website; meet and greet inside the terminal with a name board is available at booking. The drive downtown is usually 30–45 minutes, more on weekday afternoons. If time is tight, the chauffeur can keep luggage in the trunk while you attend the performance, then take you to your hotel afterwards.
Hotels near Roy Thomson Hall and Meridian Hall
Both halls are a short drive from most downtown hotels. Financial District hotels and Entertainment District hotels are within about a kilometre of Roy Thomson Hall, and hotels around the St. Lawrence Market and the waterfront are close to Meridian Hall. Guests staying in Yorkville or Midtown are typically 12–25 minutes away. If you still need a room, our travel desk can arrange hotel stays and flights alongside your car bookings, so everything sits on one itinerary.

Corporate nights and client hosting
Companies often book boxes or blocks of seats for clients and staff. For these evenings we run several vehicles from offices or hotels to the hall, then stagger departures afterwards. Our corporate car service handles central billing and manifests, and the corporate events and galas page explains how we keep senior guests from waiting. Multi-vehicle and larger-vehicle programmes are priced in writing by a coordinator, who confirms each car's chauffeur, timing and meeting point by text on the day.
Accessibility, winter and comfort
Concert audiences include many older guests. Our chauffeurs open doors, help passengers in and out, and fold and stow wheelchairs and walkers for those who can transfer to a seat. We have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance. From November to April our cars run winter tires, and chauffeurs carry umbrellas. Booster and convertible child seats are available at booking for family matinees.
When to book, and the cancellation policy
Book as soon as you have tickets, especially for December holiday concerts, opening nights of touring musicals and TIFF week. For several cars or a Sprinter, book at least one to two weeks in advance. Our cancellation policy for each vehicle: more than 72 hours before pickup is free; 72 hours or less is 10 %; 48 hours or less is 50 %; 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100 %. Contact dispatch if the show time changes, and we will move the pickup when we can.
What the fare includes
We do not publish fare figures. The fixed fare shown before you confirm covers the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, any 407 ETR tolls, airport fees and gratuity, with HST listed separately. It changes with the vehicle class, distance and time, waiting beyond the grace period, extra stops, the date and the hourly minimum. Meet and greet and child seats are available at booking. There is no meter running while you wait in the lobby, and no surge on sold-out nights. Our fare guide explains the details.
Other downtown venues on the same night
Some evenings combine the halls with another venue: a reception at Arcadian Court, a gala at The Carlu, or a late dinner in the Distillery District. An hourly chauffeur handles every leg. For visitors from abroad, the same Toronto account books chauffeured cars in more than 70 countries and 500 cities through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, so your next city can be arranged in one place.
