A car service to Sheraton on the Falls, renamed the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel and still at 5875 Falls Avenue, Niagara Falls, covers about 130 km from downtown Toronto (85–110 minutes) and about 125 km from Pearson (80–105 minutes) via the QEW. TorontoBlackLimousine.com drives to the hotel entrance and shows the fixed fare before you confirm at /book/.
Search for "Sheraton on the Falls" and you will find the same building under a new name: the hotel was renovated and renamed Sheraton Fallsview, and its owner lists it at 5875 Falls Avenue on the Niagara Falls Hotels site. For the wider picture of hotels around the Falls, see our Niagara Falls hotels car service page; this post is about this one address, the families and couples who book it, and how the trip from Toronto or the airport actually goes.
Is "Sheraton on the Falls" the same hotel as the Sheraton Fallsview?
Yes. The property on Falls Avenue, near the Rainbow Bridge and Clifton Hill, was known as Sheraton on the Falls before its renovation and renaming. Guests, old confirmation emails and some travel sites still use the old name, which causes confusion when booking a car. Enter "5875 Falls Avenue, Niagara Falls" in the reservation engine and the chauffeur goes to the right front door. Do not confuse it with hotels on Fallsview Boulevard up the hill, which is a different street and a different drop-off. If your confirmation says "Fallsview" but gives a Fallsview Boulevard address, follow the address, not the name.
How far is the Sheraton Fallsview from Toronto and Pearson?
Planning figures for a weekday outside the rush; the reservation engine quotes your exact pickup.
| From | To 5875 Falls Avenue | Typical drive | Main route |
|---|---|---|---|
| Union Station / downtown Toronto | about 130 km | 85–110 min | Gardiner, QEW, Highway 420 |
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 125 km | 80–105 min | 427 to the QEW |
| Billy Bishop (YTZ) | about 132 km | 90–115 min | Lake Shore to the Gardiner |
| Yorkville and Midtown | about 135 km | 90–115 min | DVP or Avenue Road to the Gardiner |
| Mississauga (Square One) | about 110 km | 75–95 min | 403 to the QEW |
| Niagara-on-the-Lake | about 20 km | 20–30 min | Niagara Parkway |
The QEW between Toronto and Hamilton is the variable: summer Fridays westbound and Sunday afternoons eastbound add the most time.
What happens on Falls Avenue when you arrive?
Falls Avenue is a short, busy street at the bottom of Clifton Hill, lined with the hotel, restaurants and attractions; Casino Niagara is a short walk along it. In summer evenings it fills with pedestrians and traffic queuing for the Rainbow Bridge. The chauffeur drops you at the hotel's main entrance and brings the bags to the door, and we only describe specific porte-cochères or loading zones where we have verified them on the hotel's own site. If you are meeting friends inside, give us the arrival time you want rather than a departure time: the chauffeur works backwards from it, allowing for the QEW and the last slow kilometre near the bridge.
Which guests usually book a car to this hotel?
Three kinds, mostly. Families come for the indoor water park and the Clifton Hill strip; the parent and three children with a week of luggage are the classic case for an SUV. Couples come for a Falls-view room, an anniversary dinner or a proposal, and want a quiet sedan and no driving after wine. Groups come for weddings, sports tournaments and conferences, and they need one vehicle and one arrival time. Each of them shares a problem a car solves: Toronto to Niagara is just long enough to be tiring at the end of a work week, and parking near Falls Avenue in high season is its own small project.
Should you drive, take the train or book a car?
Driving yourself is fine if you enjoy it and have a parking plan. The train is honest value for light travellers: GO Transit and VIA Rail run to Niagara Falls station, and from there it is about 4 km to Falls Avenue, so you still need a local ride. Our sibling post on Toronto to Niagara Falls by train covers that option in detail. A private car makes more sense when you are landing at Pearson, when the group is four or more, when there are children and car seats, or when you want to stop at the outlets or a winery on the way.

How does a Pearson-to-Sheraton transfer work after a long flight?
You do not need to go downtown first. The chauffeur tracks the flight and meets you at the terminal's pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals curb at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3; meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is an optional add-on at booking. Waiting from actual landing is included: 30 minutes on Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes on other international arrivals. From the airport the car takes Highway 427 south to the QEW, around Hamilton, over the Burlington Skyway and along the peninsula. Our post on Pearson to Niagara Falls by car covers the drive itself.
What is a realistic weekend timeline for a family?
- Friday 1 p.m. Pickup at home in Toronto, before the worst of the westbound QEW.
- About 3 p.m. Arrive on Falls Avenue; bags to the lobby, early check-in if the hotel allows.
- Saturday. No car needed: the Falls, the boats and Clifton Hill are walkable from the hotel.
- Sunday 11 a.m. Check-out; leave bags with the desk.
- Sunday 2 p.m. Pickup for the drive home, ideally ahead of the late-afternoon return rush.
Leaving after 7 p.m. on the Sunday is the other good option if you want a full last day.
Can the chauffeur stay for the Falls, wineries and dinner?
For a day trip rather than a stay, book the hourly chauffeur service: one car and one chauffeur, from a 3-hour minimum with extra time in 30-minute blocks. A typical plan is Toronto in the morning, the Falls and lunch on Falls Avenue, the Niagara Parkway north to two wineries in the afternoon, and home by evening. For guests staying at the hotel, a shorter hourly block covers a dinner in Niagara-on-the-Lake or a tasting afternoon, with the car waiting at each stop. The Niagara Parks Commission runs most of the attractions along the river; check its site for seasonal hours.
Is it easy to cross into the US from Falls Avenue?
The hotel is close to the Rainbow Bridge, so a day on the American side or a flight from Buffalo is practical. Everyone in the car needs valid documents: a passport, or for eligible citizens a NEXUS card, passport card or enhanced driver's licence. Check US CBP before you go and the CBSA rules for coming back. Bridge waits vary by hour; current information is on the Niagara Falls Bridges site. Our Buffalo airport car service page covers the run to BUF.
Is there anything to know about casino evenings nearby?
Casino Niagara sits on the same strip and Fallsview Casino Resort is up the hill. Both are for guests 19 and over, and identification may be checked at the door. For a couple staying at the hotel, the casino is a walk; the car matters more for Toronto guests who come down for a dinner and a show and want to go home the same night. That is an hourly booking with the chauffeur waiting. Our Casino Niagara page covers timing; for gambling support, PlaySmart is Ontario's official resource.
Which vehicle suits a Sheraton Fallsview trip?
| Party | Vehicle | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Couple, two bags | Business sedan | Weekend away, quiet ride |
| Anniversary or VIP | First-class sedan | S-Class or equivalent |
| Family up to six | SUV | Four large bags, car seats |
| Seven guests | Executive Sprinter | Lounge seating, one arrival |
| Team or wedding group up to 12 | Sprinter luxury van | Tournaments, bridal parties |
Stretch limousines, party buses and coaches come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network.
How do tournament teams and conference groups travel there?
Niagara Falls hosts hockey and soccer tournaments, school trips and conferences, and the Falls Avenue hotels take a share of those groups. The awkward part is that a team rarely arrives together: parents drive, coaches come from work, and a few players land at Pearson. For the core group, one Sprinter luxury van from a Toronto meeting point carries up to 12 with bags. For a conference delegation, a Sprinter plus a sedan for late arrivals keeps the timetable intact. During the event, an hourly booking can shuttle between the hotel, a rink or the Niagara Falls Convention Centre. Coaches for larger groups come from partner operators and are priced in writing by a coordinator.
What about older travellers and mobility aids?
A Falls-view room is a common gift for a parent's milestone birthday, and door-to-door matters most to those guests. The chauffeur helps passengers in and out, carries bags to the lobby and folds and stows a wheelchair or walker for passengers who can transfer to a seat. For someone who travels seated in a wheelchair or uses a scooter, we have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle; book it in advance and tell us about the chair at booking. An SUV is easier to get into than a low sedan for many older passengers, so mention it at booking.
What mistakes do first-time visitors make?
- Using the old hotel name and the wrong street. Give the address, 5875 Falls Avenue.
- Leaving Toronto at 4 p.m. on a summer Friday. Leave by early afternoon or after 7 p.m.
- Forgetting passports for a "quick look" at the US side. Every passenger needs documents.
- Booking a sedan for five. Count luggage and car seats, not just people.
- Assuming the car must wait all weekend. A one-way drop and a separate return is usually simpler.
What does the fare include?
We do not publish a price list. The reservation engine shows the fixed, all-in fare before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls on the planned route, airport fees on Pearson pickups and gratuity, with HST shown separately. There is no meter running in QEW traffic and no surge on a long weekend. What changes the fare: vehicle class, distance and time, extra stops, waiting beyond the included allowance and the date. Child seats and meet and greet are available at booking. Our how our fares work page explains the rest.
How do you book the room, the flight and the car together?
For a family flying in from abroad, our travel desk works with BookingWorldwide.net on flights, hotels and packages, and the chauffeured transfers can sit on the same itinerary. The car itself is booked directly on TorontoBlackLimousine.com through our reservation engine. Cancelling more than 72 hours before pickup costs nothing; 72 hours or less is 10 %, 48 hours or less is 50 %, and 24 hours or less or a no-show is 100 %, measured from the scheduled pickup.
