The Niagara Falls Convention Centre at 6815 Stanley Avenue is about 130 km from downtown Toronto (typically 85–110 minutes by the Gardiner and the QEW) and about 125 km from Toronto Pearson (85–110 minutes). TorontoBlackLimousine.com drives delegates, speakers and exhibitors door to door in sedans, SUVs and Sprinters; see the fixed fare when you book your Niagara convention car.
Niagara Falls Convention Centre from Toronto: the short version
The Niagara Falls Convention Centre, called the Scotiabank Convention Centre until 2021, opened in April 2011 on Stanley Avenue in the city's tourist and hotel district. Its operator describes about 200,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and thousands of branded hotel rooms within walking distance (official site). For delegates based in Toronto or flying into Pearson, the challenge is the 130 km between them and the venue. The GO train and buses reach Niagara Falls, but not door to door and not on every schedule. A chauffeured car or Sprinter does the whole trip in under two hours and drops you at the venue, with luggage, sample cases and exhibit materials in the back.
Distances and drive times to the convention centre
Dispatcher planning figures, outside rush hours and holiday weekends. The reservation engine gives the exact fixed fare for your addresses, date and time.
| Trip | Distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Downtown Toronto (Union Station area) → Niagara Falls Convention Centre | about 130 km | 85–110 min |
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) → Niagara Falls Convention Centre | about 125 km | 85–110 min |
| Mississauga or Oakville → convention centre | about 95–100 km | 65–85 min |
| Hamilton airport (YHM) → convention centre | about 70 km | 50–70 min |

The QEW between Hamilton and Toronto is the slow part: weekday afternoons eastbound and Friday and holiday-weekend afternoons westbound can add 30 minutes or more.
How does a Toronto to Niagara convention trip work?
You book in our reservation engine with the pickup address, the convention centre as the destination, the date and the time, and choose the vehicle. The fixed fare appears before you confirm. On the day, the chauffeur collects you at a downtown hotel, office or home, takes the Gardiner Expressway to the QEW, crosses the Burlington Bay Skyway and follows the QEW along the Niagara escarpment to the Falls. The drive leaves time to work, read the programme or take calls. At the venue, the chauffeur drops at the main entrance unless the organizer has given a different arrival point. For delegates staying overnight, the return trip is booked separately or kept on an hourly basis.
Flying into Pearson for a Niagara conference
Out-of-town delegates often fly into Toronto Pearson because it has far more flights than Niagara's own airports. We track the flight and wait from actual landing: 30 minutes for Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes for other international arrivals. Pickups are at Pearson's pre-arranged pickup area, and a meet and greet inside arrivals is an optional add-on. From Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, the chauffeur takes Highway 427 to the QEW and reaches Niagara Falls in about 85 to 110 minutes. For a 9 a.m. opening session, flying in the evening before is far safer than a morning arrival. Our Pearson airport limo page explains terminal pickups in detail.
Flying into Buffalo or Niagara Falls NY instead
Some US delegates fly into Buffalo Niagara International or Niagara Falls International in New York, which are much closer to the venue on paper. The trip then includes a border crossing at the Peace Bridge, the Rainbow Bridge or the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, and wait times vary from minutes to an hour. Everyone in the car needs a valid passport or other accepted document, and the chauffeur cannot speed up an inspection; see CBSA for entry into Canada. We drive the border regularly, and our crossing the border by limo guide explains what to expect. For many groups, Pearson remains the simpler gateway even with the longer drive.
Why keep an hourly chauffeur at the convention centre?
A convention day in Niagara Falls rarely involves one ride. A speaker may need to go from hotel to venue at 7 a.m., to a client lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake at noon, back for an afternoon panel and to a winery dinner at 7 p.m. An hourly chauffeur keeps the same car and chauffeur available all day, waiting nearby during sessions. The minimum is three hours for sedans, SUVs and Sprinters, with extra time in 30-minute blocks. For a full day that starts in Toronto, a private chauffeur as directed is often simplest: the car leaves the city in the morning, stays in Niagara all day and brings you home at night, with no separate return booking.
Delegate shuttles and group moves
Conference organizers and companies sending teams often need more than single cars. A 12-seat Sprinter luxury van carries a sales team from a Toronto office to the venue in one trip, and an Executive Sprinter gives seven passengers lounge seating for working on the way. For a whole delegation, a 55-seat coach from a vetted partner operator is booked through a coordinator and priced in writing. During the event, Sprinters can loop between hotels and the convention centre, or between the venue and an evening function. Our Sprinter group transportation page explains how timed waves and loops work, and our trade show transportation page covers exhibitors.
Exhibitors, samples and set-up days
Exhibitors arrive with display materials, samples and laptops, often a day before the doors open. An SUV holds four large bags and a Sprinter much more, so tell us the number and size of cases when you book and we send the right vehicle. Large freight goes through the venue's own logistics arrangements, not in a passenger car. Set-up and tear-down days run long and unpredictably, which makes an hourly booking the natural choice: the chauffeur waits while the booth goes up and takes the team back to the hotel when it is finished. For shows with daily early starts, a standing morning pickup at the hotel saves rebooking each day.
Where to stay for a Niagara Falls convention
The convention centre's operator points to thousands of hotel rooms within walking distance, and many delegates stay in the Fallsview and Clifton Hill hotel area. Our Niagara Falls hotels page lists properties with distances to Toronto and Pearson, and our Niagara-on-the-Lake inns page covers quieter wine-country stays about 20 minutes away. Our travel desk can book flights and hotels for a delegation, so arrival times and the car schedule line up. Delegates staying in Toronto and commuting each day should budget around four hours of driving per day and consider staying in Niagara instead.
Evenings, dinners and the casino district
Convention evenings in Niagara Falls often mean a dinner at a hotel restaurant, a winery or the casino area. The Fallsview Casino Resort is close to the convention centre; entry is for adults 19 and over, and we provide transport only. Our Fallsview Casino page has details for guests who plan an evening there. For winery dinners and tastings, an hourly chauffeur is the responsible choice, since no one needs to drive after wine. Our Niagara Falls and wine tours page shows how to add a few hours in wine country before or after the conference, and our Niagara wine country page describes the area.
Adding sightseeing to a conference trip
Many delegates have never seen the Falls, and a free afternoon is a chance to do so. With an hourly chauffeur, a group can visit the Horseshoe Falls viewing areas along the Niagara Parkway, take a short drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake and return to the hotel in time for dinner. Niagara Parks runs many of the attractions along the river, and Niagara Falls Tourism lists events and attractions in the city. Our Niagara Falls attractions page explains where cars can drop off near the falls. Book sightseeing hours together with the conference transfer so one chauffeur handles the day.
Can I ride the train instead?
Yes, for some travellers. VIA Rail and GO Transit both serve the Niagara Falls station, about 4 km from the convention centre, and GO Transit publishes its own seasonal schedules. The train suits a solo delegate with light luggage who does not mind a taxi or a walk at the far end and whose session times match the timetable. A car is the better choice when you are carrying exhibit cases, travelling as a team, arriving from Pearson rather than Union Station, starting early in the morning or leaving late after a dinner. We can also meet a train: book a short car from the Niagara Falls station to the venue or your hotel, and add the train number so the chauffeur knows when to expect you.
Which vehicle should I book for a Niagara convention?
- One or two delegates: a business sedan for the highway run, or a first-class sedan for a keynote speaker or senior executive.
- Small teams with bags: an SUV or premier luxury SUV, up to six with four bags.
- Sales teams and panels: an Executive Sprinter for seven or a first-class Executive Sprinter with work tables.
- Larger groups: a Sprinter luxury van for twelve or a partner coach for 55.
All vehicles run winter tires from November to April, which matters on the QEW when lake-effect snow blows off Lake Ontario.
Traffic, weather and timing on the QEW
The QEW is the only practical highway route between Toronto and Niagara Falls, so incidents and closures have few alternatives. Summer and holiday weekends bring heavy tourist traffic in both directions, and fall harvest weekends add wine-country traffic around Niagara-on-the-Lake. In winter, squalls can slow the Skyway and the stretch through Grimsby and St. Catharines. Our dispatcher checks Ontario 511 before departure and builds in extra time when the forecast is bad. For an opening keynote, we suggest arriving the evening before or leaving Toronto at least two and a half hours before the session.
What does the fare include?
We do not publish prices. The reservation engine shows the fixed, all-in fare for your trip before you confirm, including the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. What changes the fare is the vehicle class, the distance and time, waiting beyond the included allowance, extra stops, the date and season, and the hours on an hourly booking. There is no surge on busy convention weeks. Our Toronto to Niagara Falls route page explains the standard run in more detail.
Booking direct and cancellation
Book on TorontoBlackLimousine.com through our reservation engine, the floating "Book now" button or the booking page, with no app and no aggregator. Companies sending several delegates can book through a corporate account with consolidated invoices. Cancellation is free more than 72 hours before pickup, with a sliding charge inside that window that reaches the full fare at 24 hours or less or a no-show. For conferences, confirm attendee numbers before the final 72 hours.
