The casinos near Toronto range from Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, about 8 km from Pearson (YYZ) and 30 km from downtown, to Pickering and Ajax (40–45 km east), Great Blue Heron near Port Perry (about 80 km), Casino Rama near Orillia (about 145 km) and the two Niagara Falls casinos (about 130 km). Guests must be 19 or over. Book a casino car or an hourly chauffeur direct.
Which casinos near Toronto can you reach by chauffeured car?
TorontoBlackLimousine.com drives to every casino within a reasonable evening's reach of the city, and each has its own page with pickup notes, timing and vehicle advice. We are the ride there and back, nothing more: we do not sell gaming packages, we are not affiliated with any casino, and we do not promote gambling. The eight pages are:
- Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, beside Woodbine Racetrack in north Etobicoke, near Pearson.
- Pickering Casino Resort, east of Toronto just off Highway 401.
- Casino Ajax, at the Ajax Downs racetrack in Durham Region.
- Great Blue Heron Casino, near Port Perry on Lake Scugog.
- Casino Rama Resort, on Rama First Nation near Orillia.
- Fallsview Casino Resort, on the hill above the Horseshoe Falls in Niagara Falls.
- Casino Niagara, at the foot of Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls.
- Elements Casino Brantford, Flamboro and Mohawk, west of the city toward Hamilton and Brantford.
How far is each casino from downtown Toronto and from Pearson?
These are planning figures from our dispatch notes, measured from the Union Station area downtown and from Pearson's terminals. Our reservation engine quotes the exact route and fixed fare for your address, date and vehicle.
| Casino | From downtown Toronto | From Toronto Pearson (YYZ) |
|---|---|---|
| Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto (Woodbine) | about 30 km, 25–40 min | about 8 km, 10–15 min |
| Pickering Casino Resort | about 42 km, 35–50 min | about 55 km, 40–55 min |
| Casino Ajax | about 45 km, 35–50 min | about 58 km, 45–60 min |
| Elements Casino Mohawk (Campbellville) | about 65 km, 45–60 min | about 50 km, 35–45 min |
| Elements Casino Flamboro | about 75 km, 55–70 min | about 60 km, 45–55 min |
| Great Blue Heron Casino (Port Perry) | about 80 km, 60–80 min | about 85 km, 60–80 min |
| Elements Casino Brantford | about 105 km, 70–90 min | about 90 km, 60–80 min |
| Fallsview Casino Resort & Casino Niagara | about 130 km, 85–110 min | about 125 km, 80–105 min |
| Casino Rama Resort (near Orillia) | about 145 km, 95–120 min | about 140 km, 90–115 min |
Weekday rush hour on the 401 and Friday traffic on the QEW and Highway 400 north stretch these ranges. In winter, snow squalls off the lakes slow the 400 toward Orillia and the 401 through Durham, so dispatch builds in extra time.
Who runs these casinos, and what is the age limit?
Names change, so we checked each official site today. The Woodbine property now trades as Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, and Great Canadian's own site also lists Pickering Casino Resort, Casino Ajax, Great Blue Heron Casino and the three Elements casinos at Brantford, Flamboro and Mohawk. Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara are the two Niagara Falls properties, and Casino Rama Resort is on Rama First Nation near Orillia. Casino gaming in Ontario is conducted under OLG and regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and every guest entering a gaming floor must be 19 or older, with valid government photo ID. If anyone in your group is under 19, plan a separate activity for them; the non-gaming restaurants and theatres set their own rules, so check the casino's site.
Why book a chauffeur instead of driving to the casino?
Three reasons come up in almost every booking. First, nobody has to be the designated driver, which matters on a dinner-and-show evening that ends after midnight. Second, parking at the busy resorts on concert and holiday nights can mean a long walk from an overflow lot, while a chauffeur sets you down at the main entrance and collects you at the same spot. Third, the drive home after a late night is the most tiring part, particularly the 145 km back from Casino Rama or the QEW from Niagara at 1 a.m. With an hourly chauffeur in Toronto, the car waits for you, you leave when you choose, and you are home without a second thought. For a one-way drop (for example, you are staying at the casino hotel), book a point-to-point transfer and a separate pickup the next day.
Is a casino bus from Toronto a good alternative?
For a solo visitor on a budget, perhaps. Some casinos run or advertise their own coach, charter or group programs, and schedules and eligibility change, so check the casino's site for the current details. A coach runs on a fixed timetable from fixed stops, and you leave when the coach leaves. A private car is the better fit when you want your own door-to-door timing, a dinner reservation before or after, a group of friends in one vehicle, or a late return. For larger groups there is a middle path: our Sprinter group transportation carries up to twelve in one vehicle, and for 20 to 55 guests we arrange party buses and coaches through vetted partner operators, priced in writing by a coordinator. Our dedicated casino limo service page covers groups in more detail.

What does a casino night with an hourly chauffeur look like?
Here is a sample six-hour evening from a downtown hotel to Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, the closest of the eight:
- 18:00 Pickup at your hotel or home (about 30 km, 25–40 minutes to Woodbine).
- 18:40 Drop at the main entrance; dinner at one of the resort's restaurants.
- 20:00 A show at the resort's theatre, if one is on (check the casino's entertainment calendar).
- 22:30 The chauffeur is waiting; you text when you are ready.
- 23:15 Home or back to the hotel, with a stop for a late snack if you like.
For Niagara, the same idea works as a longer day: leave Toronto mid-afternoon, see the Falls at dusk, have dinner, spend the evening at Fallsview or Casino Niagara (about 2 km apart, 5–10 minutes by car), and drive home after midnight. That is a nine- to eleven-hour booking.
Which vehicle suits a casino trip?
Two guests usually book a business sedan or a first-class sedan. Four to six friends are comfortable in an SUV or a premier luxury SUV. Birthday groups, bachelor and bachelorette parties and company outings of seven to twelve take an Executive Sprinter or a Sprinter luxury van. A stretch limousine or a party bus adds the celebration feel; both come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, carry a four-hour minimum (four to five hours for party buses), and are confirmed in writing. Our bachelor and bachelorette page and birthday limo page cover group etiquette and timing.
Can you go from Pearson Airport straight to a casino resort?
Yes, and for Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto it is one of the shortest runs we do: about 8 km and 10 to 15 minutes from the terminals, with the resort's hotel only minutes from the airport according to its own site. The chauffeur tracks your flight and meets you at Pearson's pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals curb (see Toronto Pearson's pre-arranged services page); a meet and greet inside arrivals is an optional add-on at booking. Waiting is included: 30 minutes for Canadian domestic and US flights, 60 minutes for other international arrivals. For Niagara or Casino Rama, the same pickup leads into a longer drive of about 130 to 145 km. Our Pearson airport hotels page covers the other hotels around the airport strip.
How do the Niagara casinos fit with a Falls day or a wine tour?
Niagara is where casino trips most often become full days. Fallsview Casino Resort sits above the Horseshoe Falls, and Casino Niagara is at the bottom of Clifton Hill, about 2 km apart. A chauffeur can combine a Falls visit, dinner and a casino evening, or start the day in wine country: Niagara-on-the-Lake is about 20 km from the Fallsview district along the Niagara Parkway. Our Niagara wine country chauffeur page and Niagara Falls attraction page cover those halves of the day, and the Niagara Falls hotels page covers overnight stays. Conference groups at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre often add a casino evening to the programme, and we move them in Sprinters between the hotels, the centre and the casinos.
What about Casino Rama and Great Blue Heron: are they worth the drive?
They are the two "country" casinos on the list, and both reward an early start. Casino Rama Resort is about 145 km north on Highway 400 and Highway 11, past Barrie and Orillia, typically 95 to 120 minutes; it has a hotel, a spa and an entertainment centre, so many guests stay over. Great Blue Heron Casino near Port Perry is about 80 km from downtown, reached by the 401 or the 407 and then north through Durham Region's farmland, typically 60 to 80 minutes; it makes a relaxed evening trip. For either one, an hourly chauffeur is the natural booking, because the car waits and the long drive home is someone else's job. In winter we recommend leaving extra time on the 400 north.
What about the Elements casinos west of Toronto?
The three Elements casinos, at Mohawk near Campbellville, at Flamboro near Hamilton and at Brantford, are the westerly options. Mohawk is the closest, about 65 km from downtown via the 401 and roughly 50 km from Pearson. Flamboro is about 75 km, and Brantford about 105 km via the 403. They pair well with other trips west: a day at African Lion Safari in Flamborough, a meeting in Hamilton or Burlington, or an evening out after a family event. The Elements page on Great Canadian's site lists the three locations; our Brantford, Flamboro and Mohawk casinos page covers pickup and timing.

What should you bring and check before a casino evening?
A few small things save a lot of fuss at the door. Bring valid government photo ID for every guest, even those who are clearly over 19, because the resorts check at the entrance. Check the resort's site for any dress expectations at its fine-dining rooms and for the start time of a show, then tell dispatch so the pickup leaves enough margin. Leave bulky bags in the trunk of the car rather than carrying them through the resort; on an hourly booking the vehicle stays with the chauffeur all evening. Agree on a single contact phone for the group, so the chauffeur texts one person rather than six. And if you are celebrating, tell us at booking: for birthdays and anniversaries the chauffeur can time the drive so you arrive for dinner rather than queueing at the hostess stand.
How does pickup work at the end of the night?
Casino resorts are big, with several entrances, and they get busy when a show lets out. When you book, tell dispatch which entrance you expect to use; the chauffeur texts when the car is in position and gives you the exact spot. We do not promise a particular door or bay, because resorts change traffic arrangements for events. If you are running late, message the chauffeur; on an hourly booking the time simply continues, and extra time is charged in 30-minute blocks. On a point-to-point booking, included waiting is 15 minutes, then 15-minute blocks. Keep your phone charged, and agree a meeting point inside the lobby if your group splits up.
Is there anything we will not do on a casino trip?
We keep the service simple and legal. We do not transport anyone under 19 to a gaming floor, and the chauffeur will not wait at a door while a minor tries to enter. We do not buy chips, place bets, hold cash for guests, or carry gaming winnings on anyone's behalf. We do not advertise or recommend any particular game or casino offer. If gambling stops being fun for anyone in your group, Ontario's responsible-gambling resource PlaySmart has information and support contacts. Our role is to get you there on time, wait, and get you home safely, and that is all.
Can you book a casino trip for a corporate event or a hotel guest?
Yes. Hotels, event planners and companies book cars for guests heading to casino dinners, shows and incentive evenings, and we invoice the company account if you prefer. For a group staying downtown, the chauffeur can collect from several hotels in the Financial District and deliver everyone to the resort together. For Durham Region stays close to Pickering and Ajax, see our Durham Region hotels page. If your guests are flying in, our travel desk books flights and hotel rooms, and the same dispatch desk schedules the cars. For a larger programme with several vehicles, a coordinator confirms the plan in writing.
How do you book a casino car or limo direct?
Open our reservation engine, choose one-way, round trip or hourly, enter the pickup address and the casino, and select the vehicle. The fixed, all-in fare shows before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if used, airport fees when relevant and gratuity, with HST separate. No app and no marketplace commission. Our how our fares work page explains what changes the fare: vehicle class, distance and time, waiting, extra stops, the date and the hourly minimum. Cancellations follow the sitewide policy: more than 72 hours before pickup is free; 72 hours or less is 10 %; 48 hours or less is 50 %; 24 hours or less, or a no-show, is 100 %.
