The Niagara Falls train station is at 4267 Bridge Street, served by VIA Rail and GO Transit. A TorontoBlackLimousine.com black car from the station to downtown Toronto covers about 130 km in 85–110 minutes via the QEW, and to Pearson about 125 km in 85–110 minutes. We track your train and show the fixed all-in fare before you book the Niagara Falls station pickup.
Niagara Falls train station: what and where is it?
VIA Rail lists Niagara Falls station at 4267 Bridge Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario, in the older part of the city near the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge rather than in the Fallsview hotel district. It is served by VIA's Maple Leaf, which runs between Toronto and New York with Amtrak, and by GO Transit Lakeshore West trains, which Metrolinx runs through to Niagara Falls on weekdays and weekends; when a direct train is not running, GO riders take the Lakeshore West line to Burlington and connect to a GO bus. Check gotransit.com and viarail.ca for current trips. VIA describes the station as unstaffed and notes that it opens 30 minutes before a train and closes 30 minutes after it leaves.
Niagara Falls train station to Toronto by car
Many visitors come out by train and go home by car, or the reverse, because the timetable does not fit the day. A black car from the Niagara Falls train station to downtown Toronto is about 130 km along the QEW and the Gardiner Expressway, typically 85–110 minutes; to Pearson it is about 125 km, usually 85–110 minutes via the QEW and Highway 403 or 427, or the 407 ETR when that is quicker. The chauffeur meets you at the station, loads your bags and drives straight to your door, your hotel or your terminal. Book the station-to-Toronto car and the fixed fare is on screen before you confirm.

Niagara Falls VIA station arrivals from New York
The Maple Leaf crosses the border between Niagara Falls, New York, and Niagara Falls, Ontario, and travellers entering Canada are checked by the Canada Border Services Agency; see CBSA for what to carry. Border formalities can add time to the train's arrival, which is one reason we track it rather than rely on the timetable. Station pickups include 15 minutes of waiting from the actual arrival, then 15-minute blocks, and you are messaged before extra time begins. If you are heading on to Toronto, the car takes you from the Niagara Falls VIA station to your door without a second connection at Union.
Where does the car meet me at the station?
The station is small, and the chauffeur meets you at the front of the building where stopping is allowed, texting the exact spot before your train pulls in. VIA lists taxis, local buses and ride-hailing among the ground options; a pre-booked car differs in that it is already waiting for your specific train, it is sized for your group and luggage, and the fare is fixed before you travel. Because VIA notes no checked baggage service and no baggage lockers at this station, tell us about your luggage at booking so we send enough trunk space.
Train to Niagara, car home: the classic day trip
A popular pattern among our clients is the GO train to Niagara in the morning and a car home in the evening, when the last convenient train would cut the day short. Our blog post on Toronto to Niagara Falls by train sets out the pros and cons. The car can collect you from the Fallsview district, a winery or a restaurant rather than the station, which is the real benefit: you finish when you want to. For the full road trip, see our Toronto to Niagara Falls route.

Hourly chauffeur in Niagara instead of the train
Our lead product is the hourly chauffeur service, and Niagara is where it shines. One car and one chauffeur stay with you for the day: pick-up at home in Toronto, the Falls and the Niagara Parkway, lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake, two or three wineries, and home in the evening, with no platform timings and no designated driver. Hourly minimums are three hours for sedans, SUVs, vans and Sprinters and four hours for stretch limousines. See our Niagara Falls limo tours for how a day is usually planned, and Niagara Parks for attractions along the river.
Which vehicle suits a Niagara station pickup?
A business sedan takes one or two passengers with two bags comfortably. Families or two couples with luggage fit a Yukon XL or Suburban class SUV or an executive SUV. Wedding parties and tour groups use an Executive Sprinter or a twelve-seat luxury van. Stretch limousines and party buses for wine tours and celebrations come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, and we tell you so at booking.
Niagara Falls station to Pearson for a flight
If your trip ends with a flight out of Toronto Pearson, the car from the station to the airport is about 125 km, typically 85–110 minutes, but the QEW through Burlington and Oakville and the 403 into Mississauga can be slow on Friday afternoons and holiday weekends. We plan the pickup around your terminal and check-in cut-off and check Ontario 511 on the day. The 407 ETR is often worth it for this run; the toll is inside the fixed fare. See our Toronto Pearson airport page for how drop-offs work at Terminals 1 and 3.
Continuing to the United States by car
From the station, the Rainbow Bridge is only a few minutes away, and the Peace Bridge and Lewiston-Queenston Bridge are close by. Every passenger needs a valid passport or other accepted document, such as a NEXUS card or an enhanced licence for eligible citizens; see CBP for entry rules and our guide to crossing the border by limo. We drive to Buffalo airport, Niagara Falls NY airport and US cities from here, and on the return the chauffeur brings you back through Canadian customs.
Fallsview hotels, wine country and events
Most Niagara station pickups end at a hotel on the Fallsview strip or near Clifton Hill, about 5 km away, or in Niagara-on-the-Lake, about 20 km. Niagara Falls Tourism lists what is on, and our Niagara Falls hotels page covers the hotel districts and distances. For conferences, weddings and concerts in Niagara, the hourly chauffeur is again the practical choice when the finish time is uncertain. If you still need flights or rooms, our travel desk can arrange them together with your transfers.
Seasonal timing: summer, harvest and winter
Summer weekends and the autumn wine harvest bring heavy traffic on the QEW and in the tourist district, and the drive home on a Sunday evening can run longer than the planning figure. In winter, lake-effect snow near Hamilton and Grimsby slows the QEW; our cars run winter tires from November to April. Whatever the season, the fixed fare does not change with traffic, and the chauffeur picks the best route on the day.
What does the fixed fare include?
The fare in the reservation engine covers the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if used, and gratuity, plus airport fees on airport trips; HST is shown separately. No surge and no meter. It changes with vehicle class, distance and time, extra stops, waiting beyond what is included, the date and season, and add-ons such as meet and greet and child seats, which are available at booking. Border trips are quoted for the actual route. See how our fares work.
Accessibility, children and luggage
VIA describes the station as wheelchair accessible, with a lift available on 48 hours' notice and a courtesy wheelchair for boarding. VIA also notes that unaccompanied minors cannot travel to or from this station. We have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance: the chauffeur folds and stows a wheelchair or walker for passengers who can transfer to a seat. Child seats are available at booking.
Cancellation and train changes
Cancel more than 72 hours before pickup at no charge; at 72 hours or less, 10 % of the fare; at 48 hours or less, 50 %; at 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 %, measured from the scheduled pickup. If your train is rescheduled, update the booking or message dispatch and we move the car.
Casinos, shows and a late finish in Niagara
Many evenings in Niagara end later than any train home. Concerts, dinners in Niagara-on-the-Lake and nights at the casinos (19+ in Ontario) are all easier when the car is booked by the hour and waiting, or booked one way for a fixed time. From the station, the Fallsview casino district is about 5 km away. For those trips, our Fallsview Casino page covers the drop-off and the drive home to Toronto, about 130 km and 85–110 minutes at night when the QEW is quieter. We provide transport only; we do not arrange tickets or gaming.
Business travel through Niagara Falls station
The station is also used by business travellers heading to meetings in St. Catharines, Welland or the Niagara Falls convention district, or crossing to Buffalo. An hourly chauffeur from the station can take you to a morning meeting, a plant visit and a lunch, then back to the train or on to Pearson for an evening flight, with your bags secure in the trunk throughout. For conferences, see our Niagara Falls Convention Centre page. Tell us the meeting addresses at booking and dispatch will plan the order of stops, the likely waiting time at each and the latest safe departure for your train or flight, so the day runs on your schedule rather than the timetable's.
