TorontoBlackLimousine.com runs Oshawa airport private jet car service from Oshawa Executive Airport (YOO, ICAO CYOO) to Toronto and all of Durham Region. Downtown Toronto is about 60 km and 45–60 minutes away; Pearson about 75 km. The chauffeur is timed to your block-in, waits at the FBO's landside door, meets the aircraft where the FBO permits, and the fixed fare shows before you book.
Oshawa airport private jet car service: the east-end alternative
Oshawa Executive Airport is the business-aviation field for the eastern side of the GTA. For a company headquartered in Durham, a visitor to the automotive and energy sector around Oshawa and Clarington, or a family heading east to the Kawarthas, it removes the drive across the whole city from Pearson. The City of Oshawa's airport page, checked on 30 September 2026, describes a 484-acre field with dual runways, a NAV CANADA control tower, a modern terminal and a full-service fixed-base operator open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. What it does not have is a line of chauffeured cars. That is our part: a black car and a chauffeur waiting when the aircraft stops, and the same car available as an hourly chauffeur in Toronto and Durham for the rest of the day.
The field at a glance
From the city's airport pages, including the information for pilots:
- Runways: 12/30 is 4,250 ft by 100 ft and 05/23 is 2,654 ft by 100 ft.
- Control tower: NAV CANADA.
- FBO: a full-service fixed-base operator open around the clock, with fuel, maintenance and logistical support, and extensive hangar space.
- Night operations: under the city's voluntary restrictions, only police, medical and industrial emergency flights may land and take off between 10:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.; based aircraft may land but not depart, with prior permission from the airport manager.
The CBSA's Directory of Offices and Services lists Oshawa Executive Airport as an airport of entry. Operating details change, so crews confirm them in current publications before flying.
Distances and drive times from Oshawa Executive Airport
Planning figures from YOO, on the north side of Oshawa. The 401 through Pickering and Scarborough is the main variable on westbound trips.

What the fare includes
The reservation engine gives a fixed, all-in fare before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if we use the 407, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. No meter and no surge. The fare moves with the vehicle class, the distance and time, extra stops, waiting beyond the included window and whether you keep the car by the hour. Child seats and name-board greeting are available at booking. How our fares work explains each element; the booking engine returns the exact figure for your address in a few seconds.
Meeting the aircraft at Oshawa
At a smaller field, travellers often assume the car can simply drive to the aircraft. Our rule is the same as everywhere: the chauffeur meets you at the aircraft only where the FBO permits it, under the FBO's escort and conditions. Otherwise the chauffeur waits at the FBO's landside entrance or in its lounge, with a name board if requested, and the FBO's line staff bring bags to the car. For a principal with limited mobility, a security detail or a family with young children, tell us at booking and we will ask the FBO in advance so everyone knows the plan before the flight.

Flight tracking and included waiting
Give the dispatcher the tail number and the estimated departure time, and the flight is followed from wheels-up; a late departure re-times the car at no cost. Included waiting starts at actual arrival: 30 minutes for flights from within Canada or the United States, and 60 minutes for flights from anywhere else, to cover customs. After that, waiting is billed in 15-minute blocks. Remember the night restrictions: if your aircraft is delayed past 10:30 p.m., the crew may divert, and our dispatcher will move the car to wherever it lands, Pearson included.
Customs at Oshawa for private flights
Private flights from abroad follow the CBSA's general aviation reporting procedure: the pilot calls the Telephone Reporting Centre at least two hours and no more than 48 hours before arrival, lands at an approved airport of entry during CBSA business hours unless other arrangements are made, and calls again on landing, with passengers staying aboard until authorised. Members of the CANPASS private and corporate aircraft programs follow that program's rules instead. We are not involved in clearance; the chauffeur simply waits until you walk out of the FBO.
Oshawa to downtown Toronto: routes and timing
The obvious road west is Highway 401, which runs from Oshawa through Whitby, Ajax, Pickering and Scarborough to the Don Valley Parkway or on to Yonge Street. It is direct and often slow, especially westbound in the morning. The alternative is Highway 407, a toll road that runs north of the city; for Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan and Pearson it is usually the better choice, and the toll is part of the fixed fare when we use it. For the Financial District, chauffeurs often take the 401 to the DVP and down to the Gardiner or Bay Street. Dispatchers check the Ontario 511 map before every departure.
A Durham day with an hourly chauffeur
Private arrivals at Oshawa often have several stops within a short radius: a site visit in Clarington, a meeting in Whitby, a lunch in Port Perry, then a last appointment in Markham on the way to a downtown hotel. Instead of stacking one-way bookings, an hourly private chauffeur keeps one car and one chauffeur with you for a three-hour minimum or the whole day, waiting at each stop with the bags locked away. Extra time is billed in 30-minute blocks. For project teams and inspectors who return week after week, a corporate account keeps every trip on one invoice.
Choosing the vehicle
- Business sedan or first-class sedan for one or two passengers with light bags.
- Premier luxury SUV for up to six with luggage, and the steadiest winter car on the 401.
- Executive Sprinter for up to seven, with room to spread out documents between site visits.
- Sprinter luxury van for up to twelve, such as an engineering team or a wedding party arriving together.
Capacities and photos are on our fleet page. If you need more than one vehicle, cars can leave in convoy.
Winter and lake-effect weather east of Toronto
Durham Region gets its share of lake-effect snow off Lake Ontario, and conditions on the 401 east of the Rouge can be very different from downtown. Our cars run winter tires from November to April, dispatchers read the Environment Canada forecast before they set pickup times on snowy days, and arrivals are protected by flight tracking. For departures, we add buffer time rather than risk a rushed drive, and the chauffeur keeps the car warm at the FBO door until the crew is ready.

Departures from Oshawa Executive Airport
Tell us the planned wheels-up time and the FBO. From downtown Toronto on a weekday afternoon, we plan to collect you about 75 to 90 minutes before the crew wants passengers at the aircraft; from Pickering or Whitby, far less. Remember the night restrictions when you plan a late departure: most aircraft cannot take off from Oshawa between 10:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. The chauffeur's details arrive the evening before, and changes are one message to dispatch. If you are flying commercially from Oshawa rather than privately, our Oshawa airport transfer page covers the terminal side.
Crew transport and local hotels
Crews overnighting in Durham need a short, reliable ride and an early pickup. We book the crew on the same file with their own times. For hotels and the wider area, our Whitby and Oshawa page and the Pickering and Ajax page describe the districts, drive times and pickup points. When an aircraft repositions, we can move crews to the Pearson FBO area or to Lake Simcoe Regional Airport.
Evenings out in the east end
Private visitors to Durham often combine business with an evening: a dinner along the Whitby waterfront, a show in Toronto, or a night at the Pickering Casino Resort, which is about 30 km from the airport and open to guests 19 and over. With an hourly chauffeur, nobody has to drive home. See Pickering Casino Resort car service for that trip, which we treat purely as transport.
Privacy, children and accessibility
Our cars are unbranded black vehicles, and chauffeurs do not photograph, name or discuss passengers. A name board with an alias or a car waiting out of sight is easy to arrange. Infant, convertible and booster seats are available at booking. We have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance: passengers who can transfer to a seat travel with the wheelchair or walker folded and stowed. Pets in carriers need prior approval, confirmed in writing before travel.
Onward trips and the travel desk
From Oshawa, the same car can continue east to Kingston and Ottawa, north to the Kawarthas or west across Toronto to Niagara; our city-to-city car service plans driver hours on long days. Travelling on abroad? Through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, chauffeured cars in more than 70 countries and 500 cities are bookable on the same Toronto account. Our travel desk can arrange flights and hotels around the trip.
Cancellations
More than 72 hours before pickup, cancelling costs nothing. At 72 hours or less it is 10 %, at 48 hours or less 50 %, and at 24 hours or less, or a no-show, 100 %, measured from the scheduled pickup. A delayed or diverted flight is not a cancellation; we move the car.
Booking an Oshawa private jet car
- Open the reservation engine and enter Oshawa Executive Airport as the pickup.
- Note "private flight", the tail number, the FBO and the estimated block time.
- Choose the vehicle and add stops, hourly time or the return leg.
- Confirm the fixed fare; the chauffeur's name and number arrive before the flight.
