TorontoBlackLimousine.com runs Buffalo FBO to Toronto car service for private and charter flights at Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF): about 160 km and 105–135 minutes to downtown Toronto, plus border time, and about 185 km to Toronto Pearson. Border-ready chauffeurs meet you at the general aviation terminal. Book your Buffalo FBO car and see the fixed fare first.
Buffalo FBO to Toronto car service: why fly into BUF?
Buffalo Niagara International Airport, at 4200 Genesee Street in Cheektowaga according to the airport's website, is the closest large US airport to Toronto. Private and business aircraft use it for three reasons: a trip that starts or ends in Western New York, a Buffalo Bills game or a meeting in the city, or a US-side landing before a road trip into Canada. Whatever the reason, the passengers need a car that can cross the border. Our chauffeurs are licensed and documented for cross-border work, meet the aircraft at the general aviation side of BUF, and drive you directly to Toronto, Niagara Falls or Pearson.
How far is the Buffalo airport FBO from Toronto?
Planning figures from dispatch; they exclude border wait times, which vary by crossing, day and hour. The reservation engine quotes the exact fixed fare.
| From BUF general aviation to | Distance | Typical drive time (excluding border) |
|---|---|---|
| Downtown Toronto (Union Station) | about 160 km | 105–135 min |
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) | about 185 km | 115–150 min |
| Niagara Falls, Ontario (Fallsview) | about 40 km | 35–45 min |

Toronto-bound trips usually cross at the Peace Bridge or one of the Niagara bridges, then follow the QEW around the lake. The chauffeur chooses on the day from live wait times.
Buffalo airport FBO: where the chauffeur meets you
General aviation at BUF is handled away from the main passenger terminal. We do not name a handler on this page, because we only print operator names confirmed on an official source on the day we write. At booking, tell us the tail number, the FBO or handler your crew is using, and the estimated block-in. With those, our dispatcher knows exactly which general aviation building to send the chauffeur to and can track the flight. The chauffeur parks landside, reports to the front desk, and is ready when you walk through.
Can the car pull up planeside at Buffalo?
Only where the FBO permits it and under its procedures. Many US general aviation terminals allow approved vehicles airside with an escort; others do not, or restrict it by aircraft stand or time of day. It is the FBO's call. If your handler authorises it for your flight, our chauffeur follows their instructions exactly. Otherwise, the car waits at the landside entrance, the line staff bring your bags through, and the chauffeur loads them. Either way you are in the car within minutes of stepping off.

Crossing the border by car from Buffalo to Toronto
Every passenger needs acceptable documents to enter Canada: a valid passport, or for eligible travellers a NEXUS card, passport card or enhanced driver's licence. Requirements are set by the Canada Border Services Agency; check them before you fly, and check visa or eTA needs for non-Canadians. At the booth, the chauffeur stops, windows down, and passengers hand over documents and answer questions themselves. Declare goods honestly. Peak waits cluster on Friday evenings, Sunday afternoons and holiday weekends; midweek mornings are usually quicker. NEXUS lanes help only if every person in the car is a member.
Toronto to the Buffalo FBO: the outbound trip
The reverse run is just as common. We collect you at a downtown Toronto hotel, a Bay Street office or a home in Oakville, cross into the US at the best-moving bridge, and deliver you to the general aviation terminal at BUF with time to spare for your crew's departure. US entry requirements are set by US Customs and Border Protection. Give us your wheels-up time and we plan backwards: drive time, a border buffer and a margin for QEW traffic through Burlington and St. Catharines. Our Toronto to Buffalo Airport route covers airline departures from the main terminal.
Which vehicle for a Buffalo private flight?
For one or two executives, the first-class sedan is a quiet office for the border wait. Families and golfers usually book the executive SUV or premier luxury SUV, which carry six with four large bags. A team or a group of up to seven fits the executive Sprinter, and the first-class executive Sprinter, with six captain's chairs, suits a leadership group that wants to work on the road. Every vehicle crossing the border carries its paperwork and a chauffeur who does this trip regularly.
Hourly chauffeur for a day in Buffalo and Niagara
Plenty of private flights into Buffalo are day trips: a meeting downtown, lunch, a site visit in Niagara County, then the drive to Toronto in the evening, or back to the aircraft. Keeping a car by the hour means the same chauffeur waits at each stop and keeps your bags secure. Our hourly chauffeur service starts at a three-hour minimum for sedans, SUVs and Sprinters, with extra time in 30-minute blocks. For a longer day on both sides of the border, our cross-border limo service explains how we plan documents and timing.
Buffalo Bills games: flying in, riding to the stadium
Game-day private traffic at BUF can be heavy. If your group flies in for a Bills game, the chauffeur meets the aircraft, drives the roughly 25 km to Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, drops at the permitted area, and waits for the final whistle, then takes you back to the aircraft or on to Toronto. Game-day traffic around the stadium is slow, so hourly booking is the sensible choice. Our Buffalo Bills games page covers the road trip from Toronto, and the Buffalo Bills site has schedules.

When BUF beats Pearson or Niagara Falls for a private flight
BUF suits passengers whose business or event is in Western New York, crews who prefer to clear into the United States at a large airport, and trips where a US-side landing simplifies the aircraft's routing. For Toronto-only trips, landing at the Pearson private terminals, Billy Bishop private aviation or Hamilton (YHM) avoids the road border entirely. For Niagara wine country, the Niagara District Airport is closer to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Your crew makes the aviation decision; we meet the aircraft wherever it lands.
Timing, waiting and delays
We schedule the car for your estimated block-in and adjust as the flight updates. Included waiting on private aviation pickups is 15 minutes from the scheduled time, then 15-minute blocks. For outbound runs to BUF, we add a border buffer that reflects the day and time rather than a flat guess; a Friday evening crossing needs more margin than a Tuesday morning. Chauffeurs watch border wait times and Ontario 511 for the QEW before choosing the route.
Children, pets and passengers who need help
Child seats — infant, convertible and booster — are available at booking. Pets need prior approval, requested at booking and confirmed in writing, and passengers are responsible for any pet documentation at the border. We have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance; for passengers who can transfer to a seat, we fold and stow wheelchairs and walkers.
What the fare includes
We do not publish prices. The reservation engine at /book/ shows the fixed, all-in fare before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, bridge tolls, 407 ETR tolls if used, and gratuity, with HST shown separately. Vehicle class, distance, waiting beyond the included 15 minutes, extra stops, date and time change it. Cancellation: more than 72 hours before pickup, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 %; 48 hours or less, 50 %; 24 hours or less or no-show, 100 %. See how our fares work.
Planning the rest of the trip
If the Buffalo landing is part of a longer journey, our travel desk books flights, hotels and packages through BookingWorldwide.net and lines the car up with them. The airline side of BUF has its own page, Buffalo airport car service, and our Buffalo to Toronto page covers trips from the city itself. The full list of fields is on our private jets and FBOs hub.
Niagara Falls and wine country straight from the aircraft
Not every Buffalo arrival is heading to Toronto. Many private travellers land at BUF for a weekend in Niagara: the Falls, the Fallsview hotels, the Shaw Festival season in Niagara-on-the-Lake and the wineries along the Niagara Parkway. The chauffeur crosses at the Rainbow or Lewiston-Queenston bridge and has you at a Fallsview hotel in about 35–45 minutes of driving, plus the border. For a day among the wineries, book hourly so nobody has to drive after tastings. Our Niagara Falls limo tours page and Niagara wine country guide cover the itinerary side, and Niagara Parks lists attractions along the river.
Which border crossing does the chauffeur use?
Three crossings serve the Buffalo to Toronto trip: the Peace Bridge between Buffalo and Fort Erie, the Rainbow Bridge in the heart of Niagara Falls, and the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge north of the Falls. The Peace Bridge is the most direct from BUF for Toronto, but the chauffeur compares live wait times before committing. The Rainbow Bridge suits a stop at the Falls on the way. Lewiston-Queenston is a good choice for Niagara-on-the-Lake and on busy weekends when the Peace Bridge is backed up. Information on the Niagara crossings is on the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission site.
What to send dispatch before a Buffalo arrival
Beyond the tail number, FBO and block-in time, tell us how many passengers are aboard, their citizenships in broad terms (so the chauffeur can plan for the likely border questions and timing), and how much luggage is coming. If anyone is carrying goods to declare, such as gifts or business samples, keep the receipts handy for the officer. Let us know if the first stop is a hotel, a meeting or a game, and whether a same-day return to the aircraft is planned. The chauffeur messages the lead passenger when parked, so share a number that works on arrival in the United States.
