TorontoBlackLimousine.com meets private and charter aircraft at Niagara District Airport (YCM, ICAO CYSN), the St. Catharines–Niagara-on-the-Lake airfield on Niagara Stone Road. Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake is about 10 km away; downtown Toronto about 120 km and 80–105 minutes, Pearson about 115 km. The chauffeur waits at the FBO's landside door, meets the aircraft where the FBO permits, and the fixed fare shows before you book.
Niagara District Airport to Toronto: what we do at the field
Niagara District Airport, often called the St. Catharines airport, is the general-aviation field in the heart of Niagara, between St. Catharines and Virgil. The airport's own site, checked on 30 September 2026, describes it as jointly owned by the City of Niagara Falls, the City of St. Catharines and the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, governed by a commission, with a 5,000-foot main runway, a NAV CANADA flight service station and aviation fuel. It is minutes from the wineries, the Shaw Festival theatres and the Falls, which is why private flyers use it. What it lacks is a rank of chauffeured cars. We supply one: a black car timed to your arrival for the short hop to a winery or the long run back to Toronto, and the option to keep the same car as an hourly chauffeur for the whole day.
The field and its FBO
The airport's pilot information page lists Allied Aviation as the fixed-base operator, providing ground handling and fuel from its hangar in Building 7, with published daily hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and after-hours fees that may apply. The same page lists the runways (06-24 at 5,000 ft by 100 ft, plus two shorter crosswind runways) and the airport's operating hours. The passenger page gives the address as 468 Niagara Stone Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake, with free parking in front of the terminal and access from the QEW or Highway 406. FBO hours and services change; crews confirm them before the flight. We are not affiliated with the airport or the FBO; we are the ground car.
Distances and drive times from Niagara District Airport
Planning figures from the terminal on Niagara Stone Road. The QEW through Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga is the big variable on any Toronto trip, and summer weekends slow the roads around the Falls.

What the fixed fare includes
Every booking in our reservation engine shows a fixed, all-in fare before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if we use the 407, airport fees and gratuity, with HST shown separately. No meter on a slow QEW and no surge on a harvest-season Saturday. The fare depends on the vehicle class, distance and time, extra stops, waiting beyond the included window and whether you keep the car by the hour. Child seats and name-board greeting are available at booking. How our fares work explains it; the booking engine shows your exact fare in seconds.
Meeting the aircraft at YCM
As at every airfield we serve, the chauffeur meets you at the aircraft only where the FBO permits it, under the FBO's escort and conditions. Otherwise the chauffeur waits at the terminal or the FBO's landside entrance, with a name board if you asked for one, and the FBO's staff bring the bags to the car. Arrivals outside the FBO's published hours need arranging by the crew with the FBO in advance; tell us the arrival time and we will be there, but the building and ramp are the FBO's to open.

Tracking and included waiting
With the tail number and estimated departure time, dispatch follows the flight and re-times the car at no charge if it leaves late. Included waiting starts at actual arrival: 30 minutes for flights from within Canada or the United States, 60 minutes for flights from anywhere else. After that, waiting runs in 15-minute blocks. Many aircraft landing here come from across the lake in the United States, so the Canada/US window is the common one, and customs usually fits well within it.
Customs at Niagara District Airport
The CBSA's Directory of Offices and Services lists Niagara District Airport with the AOE/15 designation, which CBSA describes as an airport of entry used only for clearing non-scheduled general aviation aircraft carrying no more than 15 people, crew included. Under the CBSA's general aviation reporting rules, the pilot calls the Telephone Reporting Centre at least two hours and no more than 48 hours before arrival and lands during CBSA business hours unless other arrangements are made. CANPASS private and corporate aircraft members follow that program. For a larger group, the crew will choose a different airport of entry, such as Hamilton.
Niagara District Airport to Toronto: the drive
The route to Toronto is the QEW: west through St. Catharines, around the lake through Grimsby, Burlington and Oakville, then into Mississauga and the Gardiner Expressway for downtown, or north on the 427 for Pearson. The Burlington Skyway and the Oakville stretch are the slow points at rush hour; on those afternoons, chauffeurs often use Highway 403 and the 407 ETR, with the toll included in the fixed fare. Our dispatchers check the Ontario 511 map before each departure. The Toronto to Niagara-on-the-Lake route page covers the corridor in detail.
A wine-country day with an hourly chauffeur
Most private visitors to YCM are here for Niagara itself: a winery lunch, a tasting tour along the Niagara Parkway, an afternoon performance at the Shaw Festival, dinner in Old Town and a night at an inn. An hourly private chauffeur turns that into one smooth day with one car and one chauffeur for a three-hour minimum or longer, waiting at each winery with purchases secured in the trunk, and nobody behind the wheel after the tastings. The wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake publish their visiting hours; our Niagara wine country page and Niagara Falls and wine tours suggest routes. Extra time is billed in 30-minute blocks.
Choosing the vehicle
- Premier luxury SUV for up to six with luggage and wine purchases.
- First-class sedan for a couple arriving for a weekend.
- Executive Sprinter for up to seven on a winery tour, with room for cases of wine.
- Stretch limousine for a wedding party, supplied from vetted partner operators through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network.
Our fleet page lists capacities. For wedding groups flying in, multiple vehicles and larger coaches are priced in writing by a coordinator.
Weddings, festivals and the harvest season
Niagara's calendar shapes the roads. Wedding season runs through summer and early autumn, and many ceremonies are at wineries a few minutes from the airport. The grape harvest and the autumn wine festivals bring weekend crowds, and the Shaw Festival season fills Old Town's streets in the evenings. Book early on those dates so the vehicle you want is held, and give us the venue so the chauffeur knows the right entrance rather than guessing at a busy estate gate.
The Falls, the casinos and the border
The Niagara Falls tourism district is about 15 to 25 minutes from the airport. For an evening at Fallsview Casino Resort, where guests must be 19 or over, see Fallsview Casino car service; we provide transport only. For trips into New York State, the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge is about 15 km away and the Peace Bridge about 45 km; every passenger needs a valid passport or other approved document, as the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission and CBSA explain. Our Niagara Falls page gives drop-off notes for the tourist district.

Group weekends on more than one aircraft
A destination wedding, a company retreat or a golf weekend sometimes brings guests to YCM on two or three small aircraft within an afternoon. Rather than booking a car per plane, send us the manifest with each tail number and estimated arrival, and one dispatcher will run the whole group: cars staged in arrival order, each guest's bags matched to the right vehicle, and everyone delivered to the same inn or estate without a crowd forming in the small terminal. If some guests land at Hamilton or Pearson instead, those pickups can sit on the same file, so the weekend has a single point of contact from the first arrival to the last departure.
Departures from Niagara District Airport
Tell us the planned wheels-up time. From a Niagara-on-the-Lake inn, a 30-minute margin before the crew wants you at the aircraft is usually generous. From downtown Toronto on a weekday afternoon, plan to leave about two hours before wheels-up because of the QEW; on a Sunday morning, about 90 minutes. For a departure outside the FBO's hours, the crew arranges access with the FBO first. The chauffeur's details arrive the evening before, and changes are one message to dispatch.
Crew cars and local stays
Crews overnighting in the region can stay in St. Catharines, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Niagara Falls, all within about 25 minutes. We book the crew on the same file with their own times. Our Niagara-on-the-Lake hotels page and St. Catharines page describe districts and drive times. When an aircraft repositions, we can connect crews to Hamilton (YHM) private aviation or to Buffalo Niagara private aviation.
Privacy, children and accessibility
Our cars are unbranded black vehicles, and chauffeurs do not photograph, name or discuss passengers. Infant, convertible and booster seats are available at booking. We have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance: passengers who can transfer to a seat travel with the wheelchair or walker folded and stowed. Pets in carriers need prior approval, confirmed in writing before travel.
Travel desk and onward trips
Through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, chauffeured cars in more than 70 countries and 500 cities are bookable on the same Toronto account, and our travel desk can add hotels, flights and activities around a Niagara stay.
Cancellations
More than 72 hours before pickup, cancelling costs nothing. At 72 hours or less it is 10 %, at 48 hours or less 50 %, and at 24 hours or less, or a no-show, 100 %, measured from the scheduled pickup. A delayed flight is not a cancellation; tracking moves the car.
Booking a Niagara District Airport car
- Open the booking engine and enter Niagara District Airport, 468 Niagara Stone Road, as the pickup.
- Note "private flight", the tail number, the FBO and the estimated block time.
- Choose the vehicle and add winery stops, hourly time or the return to Toronto.
- Confirm the fixed fare; the chauffeur's details arrive before the flight.
