A Sarnia to Pearson airport limo covers about 270 km by Highways 402 and 401 and usually takes 165 to 195 minutes; downtown Toronto is about 290 km, 180 to 210 minutes. TorontoBlackLimousine.com drives Sarnia and Lambton County travellers in sedans, SUVs and Sprinters, with flight tracking and a fixed all-in fare shown before you book direct.
Sarnia to Pearson airport: how the long run works
The Sarnia to Pearson airport trip is close to three hours, so it is planned more carefully than a city transfer. You book in our reservation engine and see the fixed fare before you confirm: chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if used, airport fees and gratuity are included, and HST is shown separately.
The chauffeur arrives at your Sarnia address, loads the bags and takes Highway 402 east to London, then the 401 east through Woodstock, Cambridge and Milton to Pearson. The dispatcher sets the pickup with a margin for rush hour and weather, and the chauffeur takes a rest break when the trip needs one. For the return, the flight is tracked and the car waits at Pearson's pre-arranged pickup area.

Sarnia to Toronto airport: why a private car?
Sarnia is a long way from Pearson, and the alternatives involve connections. You can take the train or a bus to Toronto and connect to the airport, drive and park for the length of your trip, or book a shared shuttle if one runs at your time. Each has a catch: an early flight, a family with luggage or a late arrival home makes it harder.
- A private car leaves your house at whatever hour the flight requires.
- One fare covers the whole group, up to six in an SUV or twelve in a Sprinter.
- Nobody drives nearly three hours home after an overnight flight.
- The car goes to Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 without a connection.
For a solo traveller on a flexible schedule, the train can be a good option; check VIA Rail for times. For most families and business travellers, the car wins.
What time should I leave Sarnia for my flight?
Allow about three and a quarter hours of driving, then add a margin and the airline's check-in advice.
- Domestic and US flights: leave about five and a half hours before departure.
- International flights: leave about six and a half hours before departure.
- Morning rush near Toronto: add 30 to 45 minutes.
- Winter: the 402 is exposed to Lake Huron squalls; the dispatcher may call to move pickup earlier.
For a very early flight, many Sarnia travellers stay at a Pearson hotel the night before. Our Pearson airport hotels page covers the area, and the travel desk can book the room with the car.
Coming home from Pearson to Sarnia
The chauffeur tracks your flight and arrives for the actual landing. Included waiting is 30 minutes for Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes for other international arrivals, counted from landing; after that, waiting is billed in 15-minute blocks.
The fare includes curbside pickup at the pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals curb; Pearson explains the process on its pre-arranged services page. Meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is optional at booking. After a long flight, a three-hour ride with a professional behind the wheel is much safer than driving yourself.

The Blue Water Bridge and trips to Michigan
Sarnia is a border city. The Blue Water Bridge crosses the St. Clair River to Port Huron, Michigan, and from there Interstate 94 runs to Detroit. For many Sarnia travellers, Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is closer than Pearson and offers many US connections.
Our chauffeurs cross the border regularly. Every passenger needs a valid passport or another document accepted for their citizenship, such as a NEXUS card or an enhanced driver's licence where eligible; check CBSA and US CBP before travelling. The dispatcher checks bridge wait times before departure. Our crossing the border by limo guide explains what to expect at the booth.
Sarnia to Detroit airport (DTW)
DTW is about 120 km from Sarnia via the Blue Water Bridge and I-94, usually 80 to 100 minutes plus the border. For flights to US destinations, it often means fewer connections than flying from Pearson. We drive there with the same flight tracking, and on the way back the chauffeur meets you at the airport and brings you home across the bridge.
See our Detroit airport (DTW) page for terminal details. If you are flying to the US from Pearson instead, remember that US preclearance happens at Pearson before you board.
Detroit Lions games and nights in Detroit
Sarnia is well placed for Detroit sports and concerts. Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, is about 110 km from Sarnia through Port Huron, usually 75 to 95 minutes plus the border. We run Lions game trips by the hour: the chauffeur drops you near the stadium, waits and brings you home after the game.
That is much easier than driving yourself and finding parking on game day. See our Detroit Lions games page for planning tips, and the cross-border limo page for the rules on US trips.

Business travel to Sarnia's industrial area
Sarnia's petrochemical and refining plants along the St. Clair River, often called Chemical Valley, bring engineers, contractors and executives to the city year-round. Many fly into Pearson or Detroit and need a reliable car to site gates and hotels.
For a day of site visits, the hourly chauffeur service keeps one car and chauffeur with you, waiting outside each gate. Hourly bookings start at three hours for sedans, SUVs, vans and Sprinters. Crews and project teams travel together in a Sprinter luxury van; a company account is explained on the corporate car service page. Site safety rules apply at plant gates, so tell dispatch about any check-in requirements.
Which vehicle for a Sarnia trip?
- Business sedan: one or two travellers with two large cases.
- First-class sedan: an S-Class-type car for executives on a long drive.
- SUV: six passengers, four big bags, winter traction for the 402.
- Premier luxury SUV: Navigator or Escalade class for VIP comfort.
- Executive Sprinter: seven in lounge seating, ideal for teams.
On a three-hour drive, comfort matters more than on a short transfer; many travellers choose a size up.
Lambton College, Sarnia events and weddings
Lambton College welcomes many international students who arrive through Pearson, often with several large suitcases. We meet them at the airport and drive them to Sarnia; an SUV or Sprinter holds the luggage, and meet and greet inside arrivals helps a first-time traveller.
For weddings in Sarnia and along the Lake Huron shore, we bring guests from Toronto and Pearson and run shuttles between hotels and venues. Stretch limousines come from vetted partner operators, priced in writing by a coordinator. Tourism Sarnia-Lambton lists local events and venues.
Point Edward, Petrolia, Grand Bend and Lambton County
Our Sarnia limo service covers the whole of Lambton County. Point Edward sits right at the foot of the Blue Water Bridge; Corunna and Courtright are south along the St. Clair River; Petrolia and Forest are inland; and Grand Bend, on the Lake Huron shore about 65 km north-east of Sarnia, is a busy summer beach town. From Grand Bend, the Pearson run often goes east through Exeter or Parkhill to London, then the 401.
Rural and cottage addresses sometimes need extra notes: a lane, a gate code or a side entrance. Add them to the booking and the chauffeur will call when close. The City of Sarnia site lists road work and local notices our dispatchers check.
Round trips from Sarnia: one-way or a waiting chauffeur?
For a one-day trip to Toronto, for a specialist appointment, a meeting or a game, you have two choices. Two one-way rides work when you spend the whole day in one place. An hourly booking keeps the chauffeur with you, which is better when you have several stops or an uncertain finish time. Because the drive alone is about three hours each way, the dispatcher can help you compare both on the phone.
For overnight trips, a one-way ride to your Toronto hotel and a second one home is usually the better choice, rather than keeping the chauffeur overnight.
Winter driving on the 402 and 401
Highway 402 runs through open farmland close to Lake Huron, and snow squalls can close it without much warning. Our cars run on winter tires from November to April, and the dispatcher watches Ontario 511 and weather warnings before every long trip.
If a storm is forecast for your travel day, we call you to move the pickup earlier or to discuss an overnight stay near the airport. If a closure forces a detour, the fixed fare stays the same.
Medical appointments in London and Toronto
Sarnia patients often travel to specialists in London or Toronto. London is about 100 km, 65 to 80 minutes, and Toronto's downtown hospitals about 290 km. A private car is calmer than driving, especially after a procedure, and on an hourly booking the chauffeur waits and drives you home when you are discharged.
We fold and stow wheelchairs and walkers for passengers who can transfer to a seat; we have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance. See our medical appointments page.
Cancellations and changes
Cancelling more than 72 hours before pickup costs nothing. At 72 hours or less it is 10 %; at 48 hours or less, 50 %; at 24 hours or less or for a no-show, 100 %, measured from scheduled pickup. Flight changes go through dispatch.
Nearby cities we serve
We also serve London, Ontario, Woodstock and Stratford. Every trip uses the same fixed-fare booking and flight tracking.
