Leafs tickets are sold through official channels such as Ticketmaster.ca and the Scotiabank Arena ticket office, and are delivered as mobile tickets in the Maple Leafs app. The arena, at Bay Street and Lake Shore, is about 0.5 km from Union Station and 27 km (25–45 min) from Pearson. An hourly chauffeur waits nearby and collects you after the final horn.

Our Scotiabank Arena limo for Leafs, Raptors and concerts page covers the arena, the streets around it and the vehicles. This post is the hockey fan's version of the evening: getting Leafs tickets without a bad surprise, the mobile ticket and bag rules, timing a winter weeknight from the suburbs, and the ride home. Once the seats are in your account, the reservation engine shows the fixed fare for the car before you confirm.

Where should you buy Leafs tickets?

Buy Leafs tickets from the official channels. According to the arena's Know Before You Go page, tickets are bought on Ticketmaster.ca or at the Scotiabank Arena ticket office and placed in your account for mobile delivery; the Toronto Maple Leafs site links to the club's own ticketing and official resale. Leafs games are among the hardest tickets in North American sport, which attracts scams: duplicated barcodes, listings that never transfer and social-media sellers who vanish. An official resale ticket is reissued to your account. TorontoBlackLimousine.com does not sell tickets and has no connection with the club or the arena; we drive fans to the game and home again.

How do Leafs mobile tickets and the arena entry work?

The arena says all tickets are digital and scanned from your phone, with Leafs tickets held in the Maple Leafs app. Each guest should have their own ticket on their own phone, so the buyer transfers them in advance. The preferred gate is printed on the ticket, but the arena tells fans to use the shortest line at any gate. A few habits keep the entry quick:

  • Transfer tickets the evening before and ask every guest to open them once.
  • Charge phones in the car on the way downtown.
  • Keep one payment card handy: the arena is cashless and accepts cards and contactless payments only.

What can you carry into a Leafs game?

Very little. The arena runs a restricted bag policy and encourages fans not to bring any bag. Small purse-style bags under 16.5 by 11.5 cm (about 6.5 by 4.5 inches) are allowed, and a paid bag check exists for slightly larger bags, but a backpack from the office is a problem. This is where the chauffeur earns his keep: briefcases, gym bags, shopping, the heavy winter coat you will not want under your seat and the gift you bought for the kids all stay locked in the car. If anyone needs a bag for medical reasons, the arena asks you to contact MLSE in advance for an inspection.

How early should you leave home on a winter weeknight?

Most Leafs home games start in the evening, which means your trip in collides with the evening commute, and from November to March with snow and freezing rain as well. Use these planning figures from the parent page's distances, adding the winter buffer we use at dispatch:

Leaving fromDistanceTypical driveSuggested pickup for a 7 p.m. puck drop
Financial District office1–2 km5–15 min6:15 p.m.
Yorkville or midtownabout 5 km15–25 min5:45 p.m.

Toronto Pearson (YYZ)about 27 km25–45 minland by 4:30 p.m.

Vaughan or Markhamabout 35 km35–55 min4:45 p.m.
Pickering and Ajaxabout 40 km35–55 min4:45 p.m.

These are typical planning figures. On a snow day, add another 20 to 30 minutes, and check Environment Canada the afternoon before.

What does a first Leafs game look like for a parent and child?

A father from Richmond Hill takes his nine-year-old to her first game on a Saturday night. The SUV collects them at 5 p.m. with a booster seat fitted, booked at the time of reservation. They stop at the Hockey Hall of Fame at Yonge and Front for an hour, eat nearby, and are dropped as close to the arena as traffic control allows. By the third period she is tired, so he messages the chauffeur, who moves to the agreed corner; they leave five minutes before the end and are home within the hour. On an hourly booking, leaving early costs nothing extra.

What does a Bay Street client night at a Leafs game look like?

Hockey is the default client entertainment in Toronto, and the transport says as much about the host as the seats do. A typical booking we run: a first-class sedan on an hourly basis collects a visiting executive from a hotel at 5:30, picks up the host at an office tower, and drops both at a steakhouse near the arena. After the game, the car takes the client back to the hotel and the host home to midtown. If a second client lands late at Pearson, a one-way car from the airport is added to the same account. Our corporate car service page explains billing and passenger lists.

How do visiting fans from Montreal or Ottawa plan a Leafs road trip?

Rival fans make up a real share of the crowd for some opponents. From Ottawa (about 450 km) and Montreal (about 545 km) most people fly or take VIA Rail to Union Station, which is a short walk from the arena. Those who fly into Billy Bishop are only 3–5 km from the arena; from Pearson the drive is about 27 km. A chauffeur meets you at the airport pickup area or at the station, takes the luggage to the hotel and stays for the game. Groups who prefer to drive the whole way can book a Sprinter from home; the Toronto to Ottawa route page explains driver hours and overnight options. Our travel desk can book the flights and the hotel.

Is the subway or a car better for a Leafs game?

For a solo fan who lives near a subway or GO line, transit to Union Station and a short walk through the station is honestly the easiest way in, and the arena's own getting-here information points fans to Union. After the game, the station is crowded but moves. The car wins in other situations: a family with young children, a group of four or more splitting one vehicle, a host with clients, fans from parts of the 905 the trains do not reach late at night, and anyone who wants a drink without a drive home. Our sibling post on Union Station to Scotiabank Arena, walk or ride covers the short hop in detail.

How do you get out after the final horn?

The arena empties onto Bay Street, York Street and Lake Shore Boulevard, under the Gardiner, at the same moment. The plan we use at dispatch:

  1. On the way in, the chauffeur proposes a meet point a few minutes' walk away, on the side that suits your direction home.
  2. During the third period, you receive the exact spot and the plate number.
  3. When the horn sounds, walk out with the crowd and then step away from Bay and Lake Shore.
  4. The car pulls away towards the Gardiner, the DVP or north on a parallel street, not into the Bay Street queue.

If the game goes to overtime or a shootout, nothing changes on an hourly booking.

What changes on a playoff night?

Everything gets busier. Playoff tickets are scarcer and the scam risk rises, so stick to official resale. Restaurants near the arena fill early, Maple Leaf Square fills with fans watching outside, and police close more streets around the building. Book the car as soon as you have tickets, because dispatch capacity on those nights runs out. Leave earlier, as security lines are longer, and plan on a walk of five to ten minutes to the car after the game rather than three. On nights when the series is decided, celebrations can slow traffic across the south core for an hour or more; the chauffeur will route around them.

How does a Leafs night differ from a Raptors night at the same arena?

The building is the same and so are the bag rules, but the evening feels different. Hockey games have two intermissions and can end in overtime or a shootout, so the finish is harder to predict. Leafs games also fall in the darkest, coldest months, which makes a warm car at a nearby corner especially welcome. Basketball nights often bring more families with younger children and a different crowd pattern at the end. Our sibling post on Raptors tickets and game night covers the basketball version, including meet points by direction.

Which vehicle suits your Leafs group?

  • One or two fans: a business sedan or the electric Tesla Model Y.
  • A client and host: a first-class sedan, for a quiet back seat.
  • Up to six: an SUV or premier luxury SUV, with room for winter coats.
  • Up to seven: the executive Sprinter, lounge seating for a small team.
  • Up to twelve: the Sprinter luxury van, ideal for a staff outing or a rec-league team.
  • A fan who uses a wheelchair or scooter: our wheelchair-accessible vehicle, booked in advance with the chair mentioned at booking.
  • Celebrations: stretch limousines and party buses through vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, confirmed in writing by a coordinator.

Is an hourly chauffeur worth it for one hockey game?

For most people coming from outside the core, yes. A Leafs night from the suburbs is rarely shorter than five hours door to door once you add dinner and the drive. Two one-way bookings leave you hunting for a ride at the worst possible moment: on Bay Street at 10 p.m. in January with thousands of other people doing the same. The hourly chauffeur service keeps one car and one chauffeur with you, with a 3-hour minimum for sedans, SUVs and Sprinters and extra time in 30-minute blocks. The reservation engine shows the fixed fare for the hours you choose, and any 407 ETR tolls on the planned route are included.

What if the game is postponed or your plans change?

NHL games are rarely postponed, but start times move for television and travel delays happen. On an hourly booking, a late start simply shifts the evening. Our cancellation policy is measured from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 %; 48 hours or less, 50 %; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 %. If the game is moved to another date, ask dispatch to re-book the car. Check Ontario 511 on snowy evenings; our chauffeurs do the same before every winter pickup.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Where can I buy legitimate Leafs tickets?

Use official channels: Ticketmaster.ca, the Scotiabank Arena ticket office, or the club's own ticketing and official resale linked from the Maple Leafs website. Tickets are delivered to your account and scanned from your phone in the Maple Leafs app. Avoid social-media sellers and screenshots; duplicated or untransferable tickets are a common problem for high-demand games.

Are Leafs tickets paper or mobile?

Mobile. Scotiabank Arena says all tickets are delivered digitally and scanned from fans' phones, with Leafs tickets held in the Maple Leafs app. The buyer should transfer a ticket to each guest before game day, and everyone should open the app once in advance. Charge phones on the way downtown so the tickets display at the gate.

Can I bring a bag to a Leafs game at Scotiabank Arena?

Only a small one. The arena runs a restricted bag policy that allows purse-style bags under about 16.5 by 11.5 cm and encourages fans to bring nothing at all; a paid bag check exists for slightly larger bags. With a chauffeur, backpacks, briefcases, shopping and heavy coats can stay locked in the car during the game.

How early should I leave for a 7 p.m. Leafs game from the suburbs?

From Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham or Pickering, plan a pickup around 4:45 to 5 p.m. on a weeknight, because the evening rush overlaps with most puck drops. In snow or freezing rain, add another 20 to 30 minutes. From a Financial District office, a pickup around 6:15 p.m. is usually enough.

What is the best way to get home after a Leafs game?

If you live near a subway or GO line, Union Station is a short walk through the station. For families, groups and fans from areas without late trains, an hourly chauffeur is easier: you walk a few minutes to an agreed meet point away from Bay and Lake Shore, and the car leaves in the direction of home instead of joining the queue.

Can a chauffeur take us to the Hockey Hall of Fame before the game?

Yes. The Hockey Hall of Fame is at Yonge and Front, a short drive from the arena, and many visiting families combine the two. On an hourly booking the chauffeur drops you at the Hall, waits or returns, takes you to dinner and then to the arena, with shopping and coats left safely in the car.

Do you sell Leafs tickets or hospitality packages?

No. TorontoBlackLimousine.com is a chauffeur service with no connection to the Maple Leafs or Scotiabank Arena. Buy tickets through official channels, then book the car in our reservation engine. Our travel desk can arrange flights and hotel rooms for visiting fans, and the car is added to the same trip.

Why TorontoBlackLimousine.com

What separates a private chauffeur from a ride with a stranger

The standard our chauffeurs work to is on the chauffeurs page; what each transfer costs, and why, is on the rates page; when an hourly booking beats a one-way trip is in this guide.

01

A private chauffeur, by the hour

Keep one black car and one chauffeur for three hours or the whole day: a Bay Street meeting, lunch in Yorkville, a site visit in Vaughan, a Niagara tasting, the flight home from Pearson. The car waits outside; you never queue for another ride.

02

A fixed fare, booked direct

The engine prices the exact address, date and vehicle before you confirm - 407 ETR tolls when used, airport fees and gratuity included. No surge after a Leafs game, no meter on the Gardiner, and no aggregator taking a cut.

03

Flights and trains, tracked

Pearson Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 and Billy Bishop flights are tracked from take-off; VIA, GO and UP Express arrivals at Union Station from departure. Thirty minutes free on Canadian and US flights, sixty on other international arrivals.

04

Chauffeurs who read Toronto traffic

Licensed for passengers for hire, screened and suited; routes chosen on live traffic across the Gardiner, the DVP, the 401 collectors and express lanes, the 427, the 407 ETR and the QEW - and around the lane closures and game-day crowds downtown.

05

Airports, Union Station, jets and the border

Pearson, Billy Bishop, Hamilton, Waterloo, Buffalo, Niagara Falls NY and Detroit; Union Station and the GO and VIA stations; private aviation; and cross-border trips over the Peace Bridge, Rainbow Bridge, Lewiston-Queenston or into Detroit.

06

A desk that answers

Dispatch staffed around the clock by phone, chat and WhatsApp; a coordinator for weddings, proms, party buses, delegations, trade shows and corporate accounts.
