Square One Shopping Centre is at 100 City Centre Drive in Mississauga, about 30 km (30 to 45 minutes) from Union Station and roughly 14 km (15 to 25 minutes) from Toronto Pearson (YYZ). TorontoBlackLimousine.com runs a private black car there one way, or as an hourly chauffeur (3-hour minimum) who waits, keeps the bags and drives you on. Book your Square One car.
Limo to Square One Mississauga: how the day works
A limo to Square One Mississauga is really a question of what happens after you arrive. The mall describes itself as Ontario's largest shopping centre, with about 330 stores and 100 places to eat (sq1district.com), which means long corridors, several parking structures and a lot of carrying. With TorontoBlackLimousine.com you choose between a one-way drop (you make your own way back, or we return at a set time) and our hourly chauffeur service in Toronto, where the same black car and driver stay with you from the hotel lobby to the last store. Most shoppers coming from downtown pick hourly: the car doubles as a locker, the chauffeur meets you at whichever entrance suits the next stop, and the fixed fare is shown in our reservation engine before you confirm.
How far is Square One from downtown Toronto and Pearson?
Planning figures from our dispatch desk. The reservation engine uses your exact address, date and time.
| Starting point | Usual route | Distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Union Station / Fairmont Royal York | Gardiner, QEW, Hurontario or Highway 403 | about 30 km | 30 to 45 min |
| Yorkville (The Hazelton area) | Gardiner or 401, then 403 | about 32 km | 35 to 50 min |
| North York Centre (Novotel Toronto North York area) | 401 west, 403 west | about 33 km | 30 to 45 min |
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ), Terminal 1 or 3 | 401 west, 403 west | about 14 km | 15 to 25 min |
| Billy Bishop Airport (YTZ) | Gardiner, QEW, 403 | about 32 km | 35 to 50 min |
| Mississauga City Centre hotels | Local streets | under 2 km | 5 to 10 min |
| The International Centre (Airport Road) | Highway 401, 403 | about 12 km | 15 to 25 min |
The top of each range is the one to plan with on weekday afternoons, Friday evenings and December Saturdays. Our trip planner gives the same km and time figures for any other address.
Which way does the chauffeur drive from downtown Toronto?
There are two sensible routes and the chauffeur picks on the day. The lake route takes the Gardiner Expressway west onto the Queen Elizabeth Way, then north on Hurontario Street or across to Highway 403; it is usually quickest outside rush hour. The inland route runs up Highway 427 to the 401 and the 403, which helps when the QEW backs up at the Humber or around Highway 10. Square One's own guidance puts the centre just off Highway 403, beside the Mississauga City Centre Transit Terminal. Hurontario Street has had long stretches of light-rail construction, and lane patterns around City Centre Drive change, so we check live conditions on Ontario 511 before the pickup. If the 401 is jammed westbound, a chauffeur may suggest the tolled 407 ETR; the toll is included in the fixed fare when it is used.
Where does a private car drop off and pick up at Square One?
Square One is ringed by parking decks and entrances, so we agree the drop-off at booking rather than circling. The mall's plan-your-visit page says valet parking is in the south underground P4 lot near Holt Renfrew and that ride-share services have their own marked pick-up areas on the mall map (sq1district.com). A private chauffeur is not tied to the ride-share bays: tell us your first store or restaurant and the chauffeur sets you down at the nearest main entrance, then parks legally nearby. For the return, you message the chauffeur ten minutes before you are ready and name an entrance; the car is at the curb when you walk out. We do not publish door numbers because signage and construction zones move. On a busy Saturday the chauffeur will usually suggest one fixed meeting entrance for the whole visit.

How long should you allow at Square One?
For a targeted visit to two or three stores and a coffee, two hours inside is realistic; with the drive from downtown both ways that fits neatly in the 3-hour minimum of an hourly booking. A proper shopping day, with lunch in the food hall area the mall calls the Food District, a fitting and a return to one shop for an alteration, is closer to four or five hours door to door. Families with children who want the Rec Room or a film at the Cineplex, both listed on the mall's site, should plan for six. Store and restaurant hours vary and change for holidays, so we deliberately do not print them here; check the mall's site the day before and set the pickup a little after the time you think you will be done. Extra time on an hourly booking runs in 30-minute blocks.
Best days and seasons for a Square One trip
Weekday mornings are the calmest, both on the 403 and in the parking decks. Saturdays from late morning are the busiest, and the weeks between mid-November and Boxing Week are the peak of the year. Back-to-school weekends in late August are also crowded. Holiday openings differ between the big malls: Square One's holiday schedule for 2026 lists Thanksgiving Day, October 12, as open with shorter hours, while Yorkdale lists the same day as closed, so a holiday shopper based downtown may find Mississauga the better choice. Winter is when a chauffeured trip earns its keep: no scraping, no searching for a space in a snowy deck, and our cars run winter tires from November to April.
An hourly chauffeur day: Square One, Sherway and Port Credit
Here is a typical west-end loop our dispatchers plan for visitors staying downtown. Distances and times are between stops.
- 10:00 pickup at a Financial District hotel, then Gardiner and QEW to Square One: about 30 km, 30 to 45 minutes.
- Square One from about 10:40 to 13:30, with lunch in the Food District; the chauffeur loads the first bags at a midday check-in.
- Square One to CF Sherway Gardens (Cadillac Fairview): about 11 km, 15 to 20 minutes, for the stores Square One does not carry.
- Sherway to the Port Credit waterfront for a lakeside walk and coffee: about 10 km, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Port Credit back downtown on the QEW and Gardiner: about 22 km, 25 to 40 minutes, arriving around 17:00.
That is about seven hours on the clock and some 73 km of driving, with no parking, no transit transfers and the purchases in the trunk all day.
Pairing Square One with the outlets or a second mall
Shoppers who want designer outlets as well as a full-price mall often combine Square One with Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills, about 35 km and 30 to 40 minutes north-west by the 401. Doing both in one day takes six to seven hours with lunch, which is exactly the kind of multi-stop day where an hourly car is cheaper in effort and usually in money than two one-way trips. If you would rather stay east, Yorkdale Shopping Centre is about 30 km from Square One along the 401, 30 to 45 minutes depending on the collector lanes. Downtown shoppers sometimes finish the day at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre instead, dropping the Mississauga bags at the hotel on the way through.
Square One on a Pearson layover or arrival day
Square One is the closest big mall to Toronto Pearson, so arriving visitors often go there first. Your chauffeur tracks the flight, waits 30 minutes after a Canadian or US landing and 60 minutes after other international arrivals, and meets you curbside at the arrivals-level pre-arranged pickup area Pearson describes on its site (torontopearson.com). An inside meet-and-greet with a name board is an optional add-on at booking. The luggage stays locked in the trunk while you shop, which a rideshare cannot offer. If you are on a long layover rather than an arrival, check with your airline before leaving the airport: you may need to clear customs and security again. Our Pearson airport limo page covers terminal pickups in more detail.
Getting to Square One from Mississauga and airport hotels
Plenty of Square One trips start west of Toronto. From the City Centre hotels the mall is a five-minute ride, which matters on a wet day or with a stroller. From the hotel strip along Dixon Road and around the airport it is about 14 to 18 km, 15 to 25 minutes; our Pearson airport hotels and Airport Corporate Centre hotels pages list the pickup routines for those properties. Guests in the wider city, from Meadowvale to Port Credit, will find their neighbourhood on our Mississauga hotels page. For a visiting family staying out by the airport, a four-hour hourly booking often covers the mall, a lakeside dinner and the ride back, with the chauffeur handling the child seats you requested at booking.
Meetings, trade shows and a spare shopping hour
The International Centre on Airport Road and the Pearson Convention Centre in Brampton bring thousands of trade-show visitors to the airport area, and many of them want an hour at Square One between sessions. A chauffeur kept by the hour makes that easy: drop at the show, collect at the lunch break, a fast loop to the mall, back for the afternoon keynote. Our pages for the International Centre and conventions and trade shows explain how we time pickups around show floors. For executives, the corporate car service adds monthly invoicing and a single account for the team, and the reservation engine keeps each booking on one record.
Celebration Square, the Living Arts Centre and evenings in the City Centre
Square One sits in the middle of Mississauga's civic core. Mississauga Celebration Square, the city-run outdoor venue at 300 City Centre Drive, hosts concerts, cultural festivals and winter skating, and the Living Arts Centre is next door (City of Mississauga). That makes an easy evening: shop in the afternoon, eat at one of the mall's restaurants, then walk to a show on the square while the chauffeur waits for the finish. Event nights close roads and fill the decks, so we set the pickup at a nearby side street and message you the exact spot. Check the City of Mississauga's listings for dates before you book; we never guess event dates.

Which vehicle suits a Square One shopping trip?
Match the car to the people and the bags, not just the passengers. A business sedan is right for one or two shoppers and a modest haul; a first-class sedan suits a visiting executive or a birthday treat. Once there are strollers, large boxes or four shoppers, move to an SUV (Yukon XL or Suburban) or a premier luxury SUV; both carry six people with real cargo room. Teams, shopping groups and wedding parties heading out for suits and dresses fit in the 12-seat Sprinter. For a zero-tailpipe option, choose the Tesla Model Y at booking. All classes, with photos and capacities, are on the fleet page.
Families, strollers and accessibility
Children's car seats (infant, convertible and booster) are available at booking; tell us each child's age and weight so the right seat is fitted before pickup. Strollers fold into the trunk of every SUV and Sprinter. For passengers who can transfer to a seat, the chauffeur folds and stows a wheelchair or walker and brings it to the door at each stop. We have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance. Square One lists its accessibility services on its own site; mention any needs in the booking notes and the chauffeur will choose the flattest, closest entrance for the drop.
Holiday shopping and Boxing Week at Square One
The last six weeks of the year are when the Square One trip is most worth planning. Decks fill early on December weekends, the 403 slows around City Centre Drive, and every bag is bigger. Book early: December Saturdays are also our busiest days for Christmas parties and New Year's Eve, and cars go quickly. For Boxing Week, we suggest a morning start and a hard stop time you share with the chauffeur, so the drive home misses the late-afternoon crush. Families flying in for the holidays often combine the Pearson pickup, a mall stop and the ride to the relatives' house in one hourly booking.
Why not drive, take the GO bus or a rideshare?
Honest answer: a solo shopper with nothing to carry can reach Square One cheaply on transit. The mall sits beside the City Centre Transit Terminal, served by MiWay and GO buses (GO Transit), and a rideshare will find the marked pick-up area. A private chauffeur wins when there are several people, a lot of bags, more than one stop, an airport connection, children, or a fixed end time such as a dinner reservation or a flight. You also avoid the Saturday search for a space in a full deck. The comparison is laid out in our guide to hourly versus point-to-point bookings.
What does a chauffeured trip to Square One include?
Every fare in our reservation engine is fixed and all-in before you confirm: the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, 407 ETR tolls if the route uses the highway, airport fees on Pearson pickups and the gratuity, with HST shown separately. There is no meter and no surge on a busy Saturday. What changes the fare is the vehicle class, the distance and time, waiting beyond the included allowance, extra stops, the date and season, and, for hourly bookings, the 3-hour minimum for sedans, SUVs, vans and Sprinters. We do not print prices on this site; enter the trip at /book/ and the exact fixed fare appears instantly. Our how our fares work page explains each element.
How to book your Square One chauffeur
- Open the reservation engine on this page or at /book/.
- Choose hourly (for a shopping day) or point to point (for a drop only), then enter the pickup address and 100 City Centre Drive, Mississauga.
- Pick the vehicle class, add child seats or the Pearson meet-and-greet if needed, and note your first store.
- Confirm; you receive the chauffeur's details before the pickup and can message dispatch at any time.
Cancellations more than 72 hours before pickup are free; the sitewide policy on the booking form sets out the later tiers.
Planning a longer stay around Square One?
If the mall is part of a bigger trip, the TorontoBlackLimousine.com travel desk can pair the car with flights into Pearson and hotel stays in Mississauga, downtown Toronto or Niagara, arranged through BookingWorldwide.net and kept on one itinerary. Visitors often add a Niagara day or a Blue Jays game to a Mississauga shopping weekend; tell the desk your dates and we plan the rides around them.
