Buffalo Bills tickets for Toronto fans are mobile tickets, bought through the Bills' official channels and held in the Bills app or a phone wallet. Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park is about 175 km and 2 to 2.5 hours from downtown Toronto before the border. Add tickets to the wallet before leaving, plan backwards from kickoff, and book the car once seats are confirmed.
Our Buffalo Bills game limo from Toronto page covers the trip itself: route, vehicles, drop-off and the fare. This post handles what comes first and what fans from Ontario most often get wrong: buying and holding the tickets, the stadium's entry rules, how a mobile ticket behaves when your phone crosses the border, and how to build a game-day timeline that starts with kickoff and ends at your front door in Toronto.
How do Toronto fans buy Buffalo Bills tickets?
Start with the official sources. The Buffalo Bills' site links to the team's ticketing for single games, season tickets and premium seating, and to its official resale marketplace. The NFL's site carries the full schedule and kickoff times. Buying from Toronto works the same way as buying from Buffalo: an account, a payment card and an email address. Prices are shown in US dollars, so your card may add a foreign-transaction charge; check with your bank. Avoid unofficial sellers and screenshots offered on social media, because a ticket that has been transferred or resold elsewhere may not scan at the gate.
How do mobile tickets work, and what changes at the border?
Bills tickets are mobile. The team recommends managing them in the Bills Mobile app, where you can view, transfer or sell them, and adding them to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet before you arrive, so a weak signal at the gate does not hold you up. For Toronto fans there is one extra wrinkle: your phone switches to a US network at the border. If you are not on a US roaming plan, data may be slow or expensive. Load the tickets into the wallet at home, check that each one opens offline, and charge your phone in the car on the way down.
Should one person hold all the tickets, or should they be transferred?
Transfer them. If one person holds eight tickets and their phone dies, eight people wait outside. The Bills app lets the buyer transfer each ticket to the person who will use it. Do it a few days before the game, check that everyone has accepted, and ask each guest to add their ticket to their own wallet. The chauffeur can charge phones in the car, but nobody can charge a phone that is in a pocket in the stands while a friend waits at the gate.
What can we bring into Highmark Stadium?
The stadium encourages fans to bring no bag at all. Where a bag is needed, the gate-entry rules published by the team and on the stadium's own site allow one clear bag no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches, or a small clutch about the size of a hand, and all bags are subject to search. That has a practical effect for Toronto fans: jackets, spare layers, overnight bags and anything bought on the way stay in the car. On a chauffeured trip that is easy, because the car is waiting for you; on a bus tour or a ride-share it is not.

How far is the stadium, and how long should we allow?
Highmark Stadium sits in Orchard Park, south-east of Buffalo. Planning figures before the border:
| Leaving from | Distance | Typical drive | Suggested pickup for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff |
|---|---|---|---|
| Downtown Toronto | about 175 km | 2 to 2.5 h | 8:00 a.m. |
| Toronto Pearson (YYZ) area | about 180 km | 2 to 2.5 h | 8:00 a.m. |
| Mississauga | about 150 km | 1.75 to 2.25 h | 8:15 a.m. |
| Oakville | about 140 km | 1.5 to 2 h | 8:30 a.m. |
| Markham or Richmond Hill | about 200 km | 2.25 to 2.75 h | 7:30 a.m. |
| Hamilton | about 110 km | 1.25 to 1.75 h | 9:00 a.m. |
The suggested pickups include a game-day border buffer and arrival about two hours before kickoff. Adjust with dispatch for your exact address and plans.
What does a game-day timeline look like?
Work backwards from kickoff. For a 1:00 p.m. Sunday game and a group of six from Leslieville:
- 7:45 a.m. Pickup; coffee and the last ticket check in the car.
- 9:15 a.m. Board check near St. Catharines; Peace Bridge chosen.
- 10:00 a.m. Through the US booth after a 25-minute wait.
- 10:45 a.m. Drop-off at the designated area near the stadium.
- 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Food, merchandise and gates.
- 1:00 p.m. Kickoff.
- About 4:15 p.m. Final whistle; meet the chauffeur at the agreed spot.
- About 8:00 p.m. Home, depending on stadium traffic and the Canada-bound queue.
That is roughly a 12-hour booking. Late-afternoon and night games shift everything later and bring the crossing home close to midnight.
Can kickoff times change after we buy?
Yes, and fans from Toronto should plan for it. The NFL can move some games later in the season to a different slot, and international and holiday games have their own schedules. Check the official schedule a week before, and again two days before. If kickoff moves, tell dispatch; an hourly booking can be shifted, subject to availability, and the cancellation policy is measured from the scheduled pickup, more than 72 hours out costs nothing.
Why is an hourly chauffeur better than two one-way rides?
Because nobody can predict when you will leave Orchard Park. A close game, overtime or a slow exit from the lots can add an hour, and a one-way ride booked for a fixed time does not wait. An hourly chauffeur from Toronto stays with your group from pickup to drop-off, holds the jackets and bags, and moves when you are ready. Hourly bookings for sedans, SUVs and Sprinters have a 3-hour minimum, with extra time in 30-minute blocks, and the fixed fare for your plan shows before you confirm.
Which vehicle should our group book?
| Group | Suggested vehicle | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 2 fans | Business or first-class sedan | Quiet ride, room for layers |
| 3 to 6 fans | Business SUV | Six seats, four large bags |
| 7 to 12 fans | Sprinter luxury van | Everyone together, room for gear |
| Larger groups | Party bus or coach | Partner vehicles from vetted operators; confirm border paperwork early |
Our Sprinter group transportation page explains the vans, and the party bus rental page covers bigger groups. Our own fleet runs sedans, SUVs and Sprinters; party buses and coaches come from vetted partner operators in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network. One rule applies to every vehicle: alcohol is not allowed on board, so no drinking in the car on the way down or home. Tailgating happens in the lots, not in the vehicle.
What does everyone need at the border on game day?
Every passenger needs a passport, passport card, NEXUS card or enhanced driver's licence if eligible, and children need their own documents. Officers may ask where you are going and when you are coming back; "the Bills game, back tonight" is a perfectly good answer. Keep it simple and honest. Our documents to cross the US-Canada border post covers every case, and the CBP border wait times board shows the queue in real time.
Which bridge is best on a Sunday?
The Peace Bridge is the most direct for Orchard Park, but on big game days it can back up. The Lewiston-Queenston Bridge adds kilometres on the US side and can still be faster. The chauffeur reads the live boards near St. Catharines before choosing. Two of our posts explain how: border wait times from Toronto to Buffalo and Peace Bridge wait times explained. Coming home, the evening queue into Canada is often the longest part of the day.

Should we stay overnight in Buffalo or Niagara?
For night games, a December game in the snow or a group that wants a proper weekend, yes. An overnight removes the late crossing home and changes your duty-free allowance after 24 hours, which matters if you plan to shop; our duty free allowance by car post explains the rules. Hotels in Buffalo, or on the Canadian side at Niagara Falls, both work. Our travel desk can book the rooms, and the chauffeur can stay over and drive you home the next morning.
What about December and January games?
Lake-effect snow off Lake Erie is part of Bills football, and it can close roads south of Buffalo at short notice. Our cars run winter tires from November to April, and dispatch watches the forecast and road reports in the days before the game. Dress for a long time outside: layers, a hat, gloves and boots. Leave bulky items in the car, which stays warm and waiting.
What mistakes do Toronto fans make on Bills day?
- Leaving one person in charge of all the tickets.
- Relying on cellular data at the gate instead of the phone wallet.
- Bringing a backpack to the stadium.
- Booking a one-way ride home for a fixed time.
- Forgetting a child's passport or a consent letter.
- Planning to cross home at 5 p.m. on a busy Sunday without a buffer.
How do we find the car after the final whistle?
This is where most game days lose time. Tens of thousands of people leave at once, phone networks slow down and the lots look identical in the dark. Before you walk away from the car, agree on three things with the chauffeur: a landmark near the vehicle, a time to text if you leave early, and a fallback spot if the first is blocked by police traffic control. Save the chauffeur's details in your phone and share your live location with them if you are comfortable doing so. If the game goes long or the lots are gridlocked, the chauffeur waits; on an hourly booking that time is already part of the plan.
What if someone in the group is not Canadian?
Mixed groups are common, especially when a friend is visiting from abroad for the game. Permanent residents, students and visitors may need more than a passport to enter the United States, and some need a visa or a travel authorization; they also need the right documents to come back into Canada. Check well before buying a ticket, using the CBP and CBSA sites. Tell dispatch at booking so the border buffer reflects the group.
Do you also run Lions game trips?
Yes. Detroit is further, about 385 km, but Ford Field is downtown and the trip makes a good weekend. Our Detroit Lions tickets trip from Toronto post plans that game day.
How do I book the ride to a Bills game?
Buy and transfer the tickets first. Then open the reservation engine at /book/, choose hourly, enter the Toronto pickup and Highmark Stadium, the date, the hours and the vehicle, and see the fixed fare before you confirm; the 407 ETR and the bridge tolls on the planned route are included. Note the kickoff time, the number of fans, NEXUS cards and any overnight plans.
