A car service to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and Vaughan Mills covers about 35 km from downtown Toronto, typically 30–45 minutes via Highway 400, and about 25 km from Toronto Pearson (YYZ), usually 20–30 minutes via Highways 427 and 407 or the 401 and 400. Both are at 1 Bass Pro Mills Drive, Vaughan. Book an hourly chauffeur with child seats at /book/.
How does a car service to LEGOLAND and Vaughan Mills work?
You book on our own reservation engine at TorontoBlackLimousine.com/book: the pickup, Vaughan Mills as destination, the date, passengers, child seats and vehicle. The engine shows the fixed, all-in fare before you confirm, including the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, any 407 ETR tolls and gratuity, with HST shown separately. Most families visiting LEGOLAND Discovery Centre combine it with time in the mall, so the natural product is our hourly chauffeur service in Toronto: one car and one chauffeur for three hours or more, waiting outside while the children build and the adults shop. Shopping bags go in the trunk between stores, car seats stay fitted, and nobody hunts for the car in a huge parking lot at the end of the day. A simple drop-off and timed return is also possible.
How far is Vaughan Mills from downtown Toronto and Pearson?
The mall's official site gives the address as 1 Bass Pro Mills Drive, Vaughan, and lists LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in its store directory; see Vaughan Mills. Planning figures from dispatch:

The 400 northbound is slow on weekday afternoons and summer Fridays, when cottage traffic joins commuters; weekend mornings are usually quick.
What is the best route from downtown and from Pearson?
From downtown Toronto, the chauffeur usually takes the Gardiner and the 427 or the Allen Road to the 401, then Highway 400 north, exiting toward Rutherford Road or Bass Pro Mills Drive. From Pearson, Highway 427 north to the 407 ETR and the 400 is often the fastest, with tolls included in the fixed fare; the untolled alternative is the 401 east to the 400 north. On a weekday afternoon, the 400 between the 401 and Major Mackenzie Drive can be very slow, so allow time if you are heading up for an after-school visit. Dispatch checks Ontario 511 before leaving. Coming back into the city in the evening, the southbound 400 is usually lighter than the morning commute, and a downtown hotel is often 35 to 45 minutes away.
Where do cars drop off at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre?
LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is inside the mall, so the car sets you down at a mall entrance and you walk through to the attraction. The mall has several entrances around a large parking area, and the centre's own site has a directions and parking page that says which entrance is nearest; we follow that guidance and confirm by text which entrance the car is at. We do not promise a specific door, because the mall changes access for construction, events and holiday traffic. At pickup time, the chauffeur sends the exact position, so you can walk out with the children and bags straight to the car. For guests who can transfer to a seat, chauffeurs fold and stow wheelchairs and walkers; we have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for anyone who must stay seated in a wheelchair or scooter, available when booked in advance.

How long should you allow for LEGOLAND Discovery Centre?
The LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Toronto site describes the attraction as designed for children aged roughly 3 to 10 and recommends booking tickets online in advance. Families typically spend two to three hours inside, building and playing in the different zones. We do not print opening times, last-entry times or ticket prices, because they change; check the official site before you go. Adding the mall, lunch and a play break makes a visit of four to six hours. For chauffeur planning, a four-hour hourly booking is a common choice; it covers the drive from downtown, the attraction and a meal, and extends in 30-minute blocks if the day runs long.
Can adults visit LEGOLAND Discovery Centre without children?
The centre's site lists occasional adult-only evenings, themed nights aimed at grown-up LEGO fans, and these are popular with friends' groups and team outings. On ordinary days, the attraction is built around children; check the official site for its current admission rules for adults. Adult nights are a good reason to book a car, especially if drinks are part of the evening: a Sprinter luxury van carries up to twelve friends from downtown and back without anyone driving the 400 at night. For a birthday or bachelor-style outing built around an adult night, see our birthday limo page for how group evenings work.
Which vehicle should a family book?
For a family of four or five, the Yukon XL or Suburban SUV gives six seats, space for a stroller and enough room in the back for shopping bags. The premier luxury SUV is the same size with a more polished cabin. Larger family groups and birthday parties of up to twelve ride in the Sprinter luxury van; school groups and camps larger than that move to a coach, priced in writing by a coordinator. Infant, convertible and booster seats are available at booking; give us each child's age and weight so the correct seats are fitted before pickup. Parents with one child and a baby often still choose an SUV, simply for the stroller.
How do we combine LEGOLAND, Vaughan Mills and Canada's Wonderland?
They are close together, so it is easy to plan a busy family day with our private chauffeur. A typical itinerary with typical legs:
- Downtown hotel to Vaughan Mills: about 35 km, 30–45 minutes.
- LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and lunch in the mall: two to three hours on site.
- Vaughan Mills to Canada's Wonderland for an afternoon and evening: about 5 km, 8–12 minutes.
- Wonderland back to downtown Toronto: about 40 km, 35–50 minutes.
That is a full day of eight to ten hours. For a calmer version, pair Vaughan Mills with Black Creek Pioneer Village, about 10 km away, or lunch in the village of Kleinburg for the adults (the McMichael gallery is closed for redevelopment until 2029).
What is Vaughan Mills like for a shopping day?
Vaughan Mills describes itself as one of Canada's largest enclosed shopping centres, with outlet and full-price stores, restaurants and entertainment under one roof, which makes it a popular rainy-day or winter choice. Visitors from abroad often come for outlet shopping and leave with more bags than a sedan holds comfortably, which is another reason to choose an SUV. With an hourly booking, you can drop purchases in the car mid-visit rather than carrying them around. For a different style of outlet shopping, Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills is about 45 minutes west; both can be combined in a long day, though we usually suggest one per trip.
When are the busiest times at Vaughan Mills?
Weekends, school holidays, March Break and the weeks before Christmas are the busiest, and the mall's parking lots and the nearby interchanges on the 400 back up accordingly. Boxing Day and the holiday shopping season are particularly heavy. Weekday mornings are the calmest time for both the mall and the attraction. A chauffeured car removes the worst part of a peak day, which is finding a space and then finding the car again, because the chauffeur is waiting at the entrance you choose. For holiday plans that combine shopping with lights, parties and New Year's events across the city, see our Christmas and New Year's Eve page.

Is it easy to get to Vaughan Mills from Pearson Airport?
Yes. Vaughan Mills is one of the easier destinations from Pearson because it avoids downtown completely. The chauffeur meets you at Pearson's pre-arranged pickup area on the arrivals curb, which the airport describes on its ground transportation page; meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board is an optional add-on at booking. Flights are tracked, and waiting is included: 30 minutes for Canadian domestic and US flights and 60 minutes for other international arrivals, from actual landing. Families arriving for a week at a Vaughan hotel often stop at the mall on the way in for supplies. Our Vaughan and Wonderland hotels page lists the areas a short drive away, and our travel desk can help with flights and rooms.
Can we book group or corporate transport to Vaughan?
Yes. Beyond family visits, we drive team outings, school trips and visiting delegations to Vaughan, where business parks and event spaces sit close to the mall. For conferences and corporate functions in the area, our Markham and Vaughan event venues page explains how we plan guest arrivals. Coaches and multi-vehicle bookings are coordinated and priced in writing, with a run sheet showing pickup points and contacts. For more about Vaughan as a destination, the city's tourism organisation, Visit Vaughan, lists attractions, dining and events. As with every page on this site, the fixed fare for individual bookings appears in the engine before confirmation.
Is a chauffeur better than transit or a ride-hail for this trip?
Transit reaches Vaughan Mills by bus connections from the subway's northern stations, and ride-hailing works for simple one-way trips. A chauffeur is the better fit when you are travelling with young children and car seats, when you plan to shop and need somewhere to put the bags, when the day includes several stops, or when you want the return guaranteed at closing time on a busy Saturday rather than waiting for surge pricing to settle. Our fares are fixed in advance with no surge. For a family visiting from out of town, the guaranteed car seat and the chauffeur who already knows the entrances make the day much smoother.
What are the cancellation and change rules?
The sitewide rule applies: cancelling more than 72 hours before the scheduled pickup costs nothing; 72 hours or less is 10 % of the fare; 48 hours or less is 50 %; and 24 hours or less, or a no-show, is 100 %. Children get sick and plans change, so call dispatch as early as you can; moving the date or time is usually free when a car is available. Group and school bookings have their terms set in writing by a coordinator. If you are unsure whether to book hourly or one-way, our hourly versus point-to-point guide explains when each one makes sense for a family day.
What should parents know before a LEGOLAND visit?
Book tickets ahead on the attraction's official site, which recommends it, and check current admission rules for adults and the age range the centre is built for. Arrive a little before your ticket time; with a chauffeur, that means agreeing the pickup time with the drive in mind, roughly 30 to 45 minutes from downtown. Pack snacks for younger children and a spare layer, because the mall can feel warm in winter coats. Toddlers may be too young for parts of the attraction, and older children may prefer Canada's Wonderland nearby. If you have several children of different ages, an hourly booking lets one adult take the older ones on to another stop while the car returns for the rest.
Can we use a chauffeur for a birthday party at LEGOLAND?
Yes. Birthday outings to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre are a common booking, and the logistics are mostly about seats and supervision. A Sprinter luxury van seats up to twelve, enough for a small party plus two or three adults; tell us how many children need boosters or car seats so they are fitted in advance. The chauffeur collects from a home or several homes in turn, drives to Vaughan Mills, waits during the party and brings everyone back. For bigger parties a coordinator prices a coach or two vehicles in writing. Party packages and room bookings at the attraction itself are handled by the centre, not by us; our Sprinter group transportation page explains how group rides work.
